Beautiful video and practice, though the extreme hyper extension and shortened positioning in down dog is really bothering me. It must work for her

Is there a particular reason she goes into padmasana left leg first then right on top? In the AloMoves course she claims this is the traditional way. Yet Pattabhi Jois are known to have said: “Right side first and left leg on top purifies the liver and spleen. Left leg first is of no use at all.” Can anyone clear this up for me?

It's possible this is for females only, but I can't guarantee or prove that without looking into it more. My teacher always gave left first instructions for some mudra and other finger/hand/arm positions for some Asana and Right for men.

Bit frustrated when the voice over doesn't mention the side we're on or when she only names the posture in Sanskrit (outside Sūryanamaskāra). I like to really dissolve into the practice and obey the commands completely, so I get pulled out when I have to remember which side we already did or look at the screen to see where she is.
