Hi this is my first time watching your videos and I subscribed , I’ve been trying to grow out my grays I got a pixie hair cut cause I thought it would be faster to grow out grays but my hair was a dark brown brow-like you talked about so it looks messy with the grays coming in , any suggestions I love all your tips great tips .
Hi, I am 47 I have black hair naturally but started having Grey hair ,I have colored multiple times but grey is not stopping, I have thin hair too. Please suggest me. What shall I do? I love to have transition, I have hair below the shoulder. Not too short not too long. Please suggest what type of hair style suits me
Hi, I have long gray hair and want to enhance either highlight or gray blend . I really like Christina’s long gray hair, what did she do to it to help her gray look this good ?
More on transitioning PLEASE!!! I am 54 years young, have had grey hair since my early 20s, and have been coloring my hair ever since. I am probably 80% grey and I really would like to start transitioning to not coloring my hair. I have very curly hair down to my shoulders. I used to pay $100 every 3 weeks to color my hair and switched over to coloring at home to save some money, but I really do feel like my hair has dried out ever since. I think I would like to start transitioning to grey because I'm tired of the coloring process. P.S. You are the best hair RUclipsr out there and you are cute as a button!! Love what you do!
Hey Joelle! Thank you for such a sweet and thoughtful comment! I will make a note to create more videos on transitioning to grey hair. Before you started box coloring, did you have a good hairdresser that you loved and trusted? That is half the battle. If you do have someone great, try to get them to start ashing your hair right out. It may feel weird at first but it will really help conceal the roots out as you grow it out. It will take about two years but if you can handle the grow out, it may be the best thing for you because you won't have to deal with that regrowth line ever again.
I’m already in year 2 of my transition. I started w dark brown so the demarcation line was very obvious. 😞 I stumbled on a transitioning video which talked about using a color depositing conditioner ( Overtone) to help blend it in during the grow out phase. I didn’t want to use any more harsh chemicals ( highlights or bleaching) so I tried it and it truly helped. I used both the vibrant silver and extreme silver which worked a little better because it was darker. It made all the difference for me. Now that I’m fully transitioned, I still continue to use the Overtone and I’m constantly getting compliments on my beautiful silvery white hair. Hope this helps.😊
Christina’s hair is gorgeous! My last hair color appointment was in Dec 2019. I was just about to turn 60. Five minutes after I got home, I decided to grow out my natural color on my long hair, whatever was happening under there. My dye color was red. I’m so grateful that my amazing hair stylist knew how to get all that red out and tone it about 2 months in once she saw my natural color, which was surprisingly less gray than I expected. She toned my hair only 1 more time as I growing it out, and there was no line of demarcation. We had to shine a bright light on my hair the find the line. She just cut the last of the toned hair off in Nov 2022. She’s putting in bead extensions tomorrow because I want really long hair one more time, and we’re showing off the ashy brown and gray, even in the extensions. I’m so excited! This is my 63rd birthday present to myself. My skin and eyes look so much brighter with my natural color. For those on the fence, do it!
Nature gives you the color you should have. I'm 54 and stopped coloring three years ago. Best thing I ever did. My hair has never been this amazing, and I've never gotten so many compliments. I've been every color from black to platinum. Best thing ever. I went cold turkey and it's not as bad as one might think.
I checked out the Goldie locks hair care and honestly don’t have the money to spend on such a thing.. It’s out of my price range and honestly although it looks great isn’t for everyone’s pocket.. Especially mine 😂 Can we do a tutorial for people like me who have grey hair and honestly aren’t rocking a Dyson or enormous amounts of cash to fritter away! We’re living in a time right now where we all have to prioritise and my priorities are definitely on keeping a house going. I still want to look good and believe I can but not spending this amount.. Love you and your tutorials so please don’t take this the wrong way. Sending love ❤️
Maybe you could do a video transition to grey with someone who has thinner, finer hair. I think grey looks amazing on women like your friend who has lots of hair to support the look, but a lot of us getting older thin out feel like we can’t support the look.
Yes, more Grey content, please! My Mama is fully Grey, and it looks amazing on her! She has very thick/coarse/curly hair, and I've been cutting it for awhile now, but I want to enhance it and help her to take better care of it. Thanks for this, and all you do!
Lockdown was the perfect time to transition for me. I knew my hair was white, but I did not know it was 99% white! I love the color, or rather, the lack of color. The root battle is a thing of the past. My hair is the same texture it has always been, which is soft, but now it has more shine. For the first time in my life, I get compliments on my hair. If you are thinking of growing yours out, I say go for it. Gabi just gave the best strategy for the grow out here!
I started going Grey at 30 and I've never plucked nor dyed my hair. I'm 57 and love my Grey hair! Get tons of compliments on it every where I go. It hangs past my bottom by about 4 inches!
Yes Yes Yes!!!! Please do another video on transitioning to grey!!! It would be so very much appreciated!! I'm 59 with medium brown hair and I'm SO READY to begin the transition. I'm just at a loss as to how to go about it. Your instructions and tutorials are a major help to me!! I trust you and really appreciate your advice. I'm also trying to learn how to update my makeup routine. Your guidance is priceless!! Thank you for being there for us ladies who want to continue to look and feel beautiful 💜
I agree- for example, some highlights turn BLUE vs silver, and that's just NOT the look - how do I get silver or even white highlights? Is that possible- for transitioning
If you haven't done it yet this might help. If you have grown it out pls. let me know how you did it ok? I was dying my hair med. brown for years. I let it grow out twice. First, I did do what she said not to which is wear it up and strategically concealed it as much as possible. When it had grown out a few inches I cut it just short enough that I could still manage to pin and hairspray it to cover as much as possible. By the next cut, and my hair is silver so has VERY pronounced color diff, it was pretty much gone. Now my hair is silver and med length. I'm so happy I found this video because I was considering coloring again. Now, never again!
I decided to let my natural gray grow out, after I watched Khalesi, Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. Her hair sometimes looks white/gray. Loved her, so I thought why not let my hair go. I had been very dark and found my first gray when I was 19. I let it go, then pixie cut it. Now, I get more compliments on my gray/white natural color than I ever did when it was colored.
Girl, I LOVE this one!!! Going grey was so scary but now that I'm on the other side I get stopped by total strangers who tell me how much they love my hair. I'm so glad I didn't cave in during the awkward skunk stripe phase.
Karin I just looked you up on RUclips and your hair is STUNNING! YES QUEEN YES! The curly silver bob is everything and makes your hair look so super shiny and luxurious. I had someone tell me that as soon as my greys come in, I will rethink this but I am actually very much expecting myself to love and embrace the gorgeous shiny strands. I love how it looks on my husband and on my dad.
@@GlamGirlGabi Thank you so much! It was two long years but now I absolutely love it. My hair feels so much healthier, it actually sparkles like real silver in the light, and I get so many more compliments on it now than I ever did when I was highlighting the heck out of it. Wish I could have been brave enough to do it years ago!
I stopped dyeing my hair over 15 yrs ago. I had a full thick head of hair. The problems is about 2 yrs ago I started to lose my hair. I've tried everything. I'm now reduced to wearing a hat when going out since my scalp is visible. Ladies so long as you have hair gray or any other color, ROCK IT WHILE YOU HAVE IT!!! If you have any advice for this dilemma that has aged me, I would appreciate it! I'm so grateful I found your video on 5 makeup tips to look younger. You are a gem!💎
I have read comments from many ppl saying they saw a big difference in hair when they started eating an heavy or all meat diet 🤷🏻♀️ (as well as other health benefits) and ofcourse taking all grains, pasta and sugar from the diet. It’s probably the safest thing you could try…
I used to have great, really thick hair until I hit my mid-thirties. When I was a young woman, people would stop me in the street to compliment me on it. At some point the hair started to change and, since then, I have tried all sorts of things such as a better diet, supplements, you name it. Nothing has worked and I have had to accept that I have been following in my mother's footsteps. Her hair is now really thin and one can see her scalp, I am afraid It is going to happen to me too. I have no idea what to do. I no longer believe in supplementation, btw.
I wished my silver hair into existence!! My natural color was a dishwater brown. I dyed my hair blonde for 30 plus years. I always admired women’s hair when it turned silver/white. When it’s taken care of and healthy it is classy and gorgeous! Around 60 I saw that my hair could go 8 weeks without a touch up because it was growing out silver. Covid gave me the chance to grow it out and I absolutely love it. No one in my family has turned this color, so I’m convinced I manifested it into existence.😂😂
Hello Gabi! Thanks so much for posting about grey hair. I have very few at 63 years old but I love woman who allow the grey to become part of their signature. I embrace the aging process and figure, why fight it just be the best version of you that you can be. Your channel has helped me with the thinning hair issue. My hair is growing beautifully and you were right, the blunt cut for thin, straight hair is the answer. Going to share your channel with my friends. Keep up the great content.
I started greying in my 30’s. It came in initially at the front and grew out as a streak. I loved it. I have never dyed it. It is white now and I still love it.
Me too started greying in my 30’s in the front .. always hid it with Alice bands.. but they gave headaches.. sometimes would not cover it and people would complement.. got confidence now I am proud of it
Yes, please make more videos for us young at heart, but older on the charts! Lol! I am Black/African American and would love to see you do a video on a client like me. I like you, have fine, thinning hair, but very curly. At 59, I had been able to evade grays, but they’re coming in quickly now! I liken going gray to getting your period. Some of us get it early and others are late bloomers, but we all eventually get it! I really like your videos and have been following you for awhile, so thank you!😊
Thank goodness gray is coming in and you look good with it because you don't have to hide it no more the more I dye my grays the worst my hair gets so embrace it
I went the hard yards and transitioned to grey hair and did most of the things you suggested. I love my natural hair colour and look after it. My hair is a billion times healthier than when I dyed it.
Gray is beautiful! I didn't like it when I was in my 30's but at around 46 I went natural (as I started to love the color). My gray looks like I got highlights but it is all natural. I just cut my hair short and the transition didn't take long. it's been about 4-5 years since I went natural. I do use a purple shampoo.
I have curly dark brown hair and am transitioning now to grey. My stylist has tried to bleach my hair about. 5 times slowly to make it to a level 9 (it was an 4 to start) she never could get it higher than a 6 or 7. Which is not high enough to receive grey toner to blend in with my existing sliver grey hair that I have been growing out for about 9 months. She was scared to keep using bleach or color off for fear of damage. So if you are dark hair don’t expect it to be a simple blending. Now lighter hair color a lot easy to grey. So disappointed but at least she tried.
I started graying in high school so I started coloring it then and now at age 67 I still color it. At one point I changed my dark hair to a medium red blonde. Now I am seriously considering doing a blue gray to start going to gray with blending. Working up the courage to do just that. I have a 50 year high school reunion in 2023 and I want to look amazing
Nice idea I love the way gunmetal looks. It is darker like my real hair was and in part still is and it won’t need to be touched up at much. It will still give me a contrast between my face and hair like I like.
I have about 3 inches of gray right now. My bangs are almost all gray. I bought a gray bun hair piece from Amazon that I use on top of my head and incorporate my brown bottom hair. When I put it on top of my head I twist everything together. It actually looks pretty good.
One thing I may add is when I decided to go grey I didn't know it would feel so freeing no more skunk stripe. A stylist helped me transition by doing heavy highlights all over. I do not use any heated styling tools, rollers, or a blow dryer. My hair is straight I let it air dry it is past my shoulders. I also had to let go of certain colors in my clothes and turn to brighter cooler colors. I'm going, to be honest here though it does make you look older so you're going to have to depend on your own self-confidence for this.
At 51 I've really been debating. Feels like it may be a young age to be all gray. Though I've gone almost a year not getting the gray touched up so I already have an idea of what going all natural might look like. He he he...😅
Grey just translates to old no matter how good it looks . Men will not touch u w a 10 ft. pole but who needs poles at this juncture? Who needs that?.) It's ruined our lives enough.
I’m having an easy transition. I highlighted honey blond for years. Then transitioned to ash/icy blonde over a 3 year period, but with these kind of highlights, comes damage. I decided to stop highlighting because of the damage. Best decision I’ve ever made! It’s coming in darker and salt and pepper, and it’s silver underneath. But I’ve been able to grow it halfway down my back! It can be tricky to wash two different heads of hair (I’m about half way. Natural color to just below the chin.) The bottom half is still the bleached part and requires TLC and purple conditioner. For styling, I blow dry on low heat, then sleep with a sock on my head for heatless curls aka as robe belt curls. Mother Nature really is the best colorist!
Yes yes please more information! I’m in my 50’s and first grey at 16. Every salon I’ve been to dyes it warm colors and I’ve been trying to say that it looks horrible forever but you say it so it makes sense. I’m about 90% grey so if I was going to color it would be back to my cool black tone. I have so many colors in my hair!!!
My mother is 93 and still colors her hair. I have a long dark brown hair and I am about 95% gray… I am tired of being a slave to my roots. You’re offering some wonderful advice here, but I wish I could get a referral to a colorist who specializes in this kind of thing. I’m afraid to just go to anyone.
I think it depends upon where you live - urban, suburb, rural? I've been searching for a knowledgeable colorist also. Gray, silver and white hair grew out of C-19; and I don't think there is much information and expertise for those of us who don't have naturally gorgeous streaky shades.
Hi.. Im a true red haired in my 60s..I do love my hair but yes it's getting thinner and the greys are getting a lot more.. She looks amazing..I couldn't imagine her hair any other colour..Love your channel.. Stay well always.. Australia 🇦🇺
I stopped 4 cuts ago dying my hair .. it’s short so the grey is coming thru fast and I love it ( not to speak of the $$$ I’ve saved) . I’m 70 and it was time ❤🎉🎉
Her gray hair is beautiful. It makes me want to grow out mine but I'm afraid it's going to make me look old. Thanks for some great tips on how to care for gray hair and for demonstrating a beautiful lady with beautiful gray hair.
I never thought I'd go gray, but when I tried to stay blonde it kept turning orange. So I gave up and now it grew out a gorgeous streaky platinum of several shades and people ask me where I get the color done. I also noticed my complexion goes better with the natural platinum now too. I am pretty sure your complexion shade changes a bit as you go gray too.. So what I am saying is go for it. You may be a lot happier. I can also wear colors I never could before because they looked either too loud or washed me out.
PLEASE make more videos on transitioning not only to gray but also white! 42 year old female with not gray, but all white hair coming in. I’m not dying anymore, but am scared to make the total transition just yet! But with the amount of white hair, I need to!
I coloured my hair to cover grey for years. After several tries to start going grey, I found a way to help. I used a spray in colour over the grey roots each day. It washed out of course but after a few months of doing this I was already on the road to going grey!
Loved all the clues, I am over 80 and have always avoided gray hair. After a brief accident and rehab, I decided to let my hair grow out and see what color it is. It's a beautiful bright white but very thin and fine. I am tempted to dye it again but it took almost a year to grow out and I"d like more hints on how to style it. I've mostly had longish hair until the accident and I"ve been wearing a ponytail or French twist and not happy with my ears showing. Hint?
I'm 58 and have let my hair go grey for 3 years already and I love it. I get more compliments on my hair now then when I was coloring it. When I transition to grey I had blond highlights done and light color because my natural hair is black and it helped the transition much better. I use purple shampoo hair biology and conditioner and for the yellow tint my hair is very soft and manageable love it.
I am 39. I've had sparse grey hairs since my early 20's. Now it's coming in a bit more as a streak at my widow's peak and on my temples. I'm DONE coloring. Last I colored, I did exactly as you suggested and did a color that matches my roots and in a cooler ashier color. Now I am growing it all out. I want to grow it out now while its sparse and not wait until it starts growing in as a harsh line. I will freshen the rest with toner when needed here and there but I no linger want to dye it. My hair is bery thick and long. I'm enjoying it one last summer and then getting a big chop since the length is boring me. Once I get that big chop I'm never dying it again! It's feeling so much better already.
My mom is a hairdresser and at 56 I still have virgin hair and my gray has blended nicely with my blonde hair! Protection and hydration are key! Great Video!
U are a true pro!! I just came from the beauty salon this is a expensive salon not cheap. I was feeling excited just to find my self with a girl who left me with a hair style that my Neighbor could have given me for free. 😢 but of course I was charge like if a pro had done my hair. Watching ur video big difference.
I have never plucked a hair out of my head that’s crazy talk! I did dye but gave it up and embraced the silver. I also deep condition with every wash. The steam treatments are amazing!
Thank you for this video. I started going gray at 13 and never colored my hair. I have used a shampoo for silver hair once a week for years and do a hair mask with a heat cap once a week. I would love to hear about more gray-hair products than just Goldie Locks.
I’m 62 & color my hair. I make a conscious decision to do so. I truly feel beautiful ridding my gray. I’m not ready to be “old looking “. Make no mistake.. you do get treated old if you have gray hair. I don’t agree with that but those are facts.
I have light/medium brown hair, and I have some gray coming in. I use a coffee rinse (actual home-brewed coffee) on my hair. It gives the brown a bit richer color and makes the grays look more golden.
Another vote for grey content please-especially suggestions on all the many options for covering the grey with temporary, semi, demi & permanent options both for home use and at salon. this is NOT a subject well covered-especially the semi and demi options for transitional phase. Most info out there is either "get permanent at a salon" or "go cold turkey and eschew all dyes"-many of us are in between as we are not yet grey enough to completely grow it out but grey enough that coloring is desired for a while longer. Also home options are super important because many people are on tight budgets these days. This gives you lots of ideas for popular video themes. Just found you today-love this video, thanks so much!
I’m 57 and I only need to cover my roots around my hair line and part line every six to eight weeks. My plan is to let the gray hair behind the ears from top of my hair down fill in thicker, because I don’t want the strong gray only in front and brunette in back. It’s working, when I run my fingers through the back I see those sparkles coming through. The hope by 60 I’ll be able to get the gray blending in the front and avoid awkward color blocks with my brunette hair.
I use Kerastase masks and take several supplements since my 40s. I have been into organics since my 30s and my mom taught me to take care of my skin in my 20s but we didn’t have the great products (or internet) back then. I also recommend a rice shampoo like Viori but know that there is an adjustment period, especially if you use shampoos with sulfates. My grey hair is dark and light steel with white and never took color well. I’m sensitive to sulfates and gave those shampoos up in my 40s because my hair was breaking so badly. I started going grey at 26 with a skunk stripe down the back of my head and colored for many years. Finally, gave up. Hair is long (down to my bra strap), curly, soft, strong, and dries quickly which I’m told means it’s in great condition by my hair dresser. Curly hair usually takes longer to dry. People compliment my hair and my skin. Take care of your bodies, ladies! When you get to your 60s, everything changes no matter what you do!
I started using black castor seed oll shampoo for strengthening my hair and after a month I see a huge difference in hair fall and breakage. It also smells really good. I take two hair supplements too and use a rosemary/mint shampoo and a homemade rosemary and clove spray. I will add the purple shampoo now though after my hair has had some recovery time. My hair's texture is certainly different but it is by no means dry. It still can feel oily especially at the scalp after a couple of days.
I transitioned starting in April 2022. I used semi- permanent box dye for 20+ years every 6-8 weeks. The medium brown faded to very light brown since April and the top grew in striped grey/silver with darker undertones. I feel so free and love it! I use KITSCH rice water shampoo and conditioner bars every other day and they work great. I’ve tried purple shampoo and conditioner once a week and it really brings out the whiter hair. I don’t use heat on it at all. It’s curly so air drying is best anyway. I’ll never dye it again. I’m 51.
Thank you!! I have 2 white streaks in the front. Very visible. I tried transitioning and ended up chopping it all off, lol. It was really short. When it grew back I wasn't as grey as I thought, but it looks cool. I have left it like this and can't really imagine trading how soft and healthy it is with how it felt when I was coloring. Styling is still a struggle because not too many people know how and there are less products for the greys.
I’ve decided in the last few weeks to go natural. I’m 41 and have been colouring regularly for about 15 years. I started considering going natural the day before appointment when I was thinking the white looked pretty good with my complexion. The next day when I was getting it coloured I got a really bad reaction- first time ever. It started burning my scalp, had to wash it off which took ages as my scalp was so sensitive, and I was nauseous all day. I took that as a sign from the universe.
She's right about having to go more and more often to cover the gray. I went cold turkey. Cut my hair short and went grey. That was 5 years ago. Now, my hair is that beautiful silver color naturally. I'm very happy with it.
Thank you so much for this video! I haven’t highlighted my hair for over a year and I am going silver. It is coming in all over but it looks like someone had added silver glitter strands to my hair! I asked my kids if I should dye it and they all said No! Leave it alone!
I went to blonde (professionally done) so that the gray wasn’t as obvious. My usually healthy hair began to feel dry, so I quit that. The blonde made the grow out much easier. I’ve been told that I look older, but m not going back. It’s stressful and expensive and time-consuming. Yes, use purple shampoo and conditioner. I only recently heard about the oil (from a new hairdresser). I’ve also stopped fighting my waves, which means less heat. I’m looking for a non-diffuser technique so I entirely do away with the heat. Thanks for all of the tips.
Hey Dale!! Amazing! I am so happy for you! I hate how society has the notion that as women we cannot "look older" or it's pretty much a crime and our value and worth goes down. Forget that BS! Wear your hair in the way that works and feels good FOR YOU. End of story. Sending a hug your way!
Christina is gorgeous and you did a great job with her. Guy Tang has a great technique and products for embracing your grey and transitioning gracefully. It's amazing!
My hair seems to be naturally silver now, and I really love it!! It’s beautifully silky and feels the best it has ever been. It’s also as thick as when I was a child! I use purple shampoo from time to time, and use other products specially formulated for my naturally very curly hair. I only ever air dry it. Like other people, I also get great compliments about it!
Oh definitely please do a transitioning video, I'm planning to see a stylist in November before Christmas, first time since covid began my last appt was cancelled March 2020, and I want to be able to transition to less dye and more grey. I've been using box dyes here and there and don't like what it's doing to my hair, I need your help!!!! Love your videos!!!!
I've been gray since age 14 and colored for many years. My transition is complete, but it wasn't pleasant, lol. Beating the brass has been the biggest battle since then. I'm also a 3b, 3c curly gal, and this coarse gray hair and drier just because it's curly hair is a battle to keep the moisture in. One day at a time is how I roll, but im never going back to coloring again.
Love this!!! I''m not very gray yet but I know it's something I need to think about and have been doing research to develop a plan of action for when I'm ready to transition and embrace natural gray!... This video is PERFECT!!!
Hi Gabi!! I found your video precisely when I was looking for a gray hair transition video. To this day I have not found any trustworthy hair salon after the hairdresser I went to closed her salon. I'm trying to leave my hair natural, I don't have many gray hairs, but in the last year and a half I've had quite a few gray hairs, I think that in a couple of years I will have almost white hair, and my decision is not to dye it again. But as you say in the video, when there is a brown tint and the hair grows it is noticeable. In my case it is not obvious because I still have a little gray hair, but I don't know what to do to hide that small contrast. I had thought about giving myself a semi-permanent to tone down the orange and yellow area that is from the mid-lengths to the ends. I would greatly appreciate the advice of a professional like you, greetings from Spain!!🥰
Hey Sandy! I am so happy that you enjoyed this one and that you were able to get a lot out of it! I will be doing more videos for 50+ so stay tuned for more tips and tricks. I appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment.
Please, please more on transitioning. Though I'm in a situation where I haven't really been able to get my hair done. This is largely due to financial reasons, Yay car repairs, but with an autoimmune disease I've had a multitude of health issues as well. I am one month shy of it being a year since I've had my hair colored. That is a whoooollllle lotta gray. Lol. Unfortunately it's been a year since a haircut, but that is a whole different issue. 😅 I have really been debating whether or not I want color the gray back to my normal very dark brown. I'm only 51 so I'm not sure yet about making committment. I'm also VERY pale and I do look a little washed out. Is there a way to maybe liven the color up in some way to maybe add more dimension?!? I figure if I want to commit to the gray this would be the best time since I've already gone so long. I will take a look around your channel in case I missed it, and keep an eye out for new videos 📹. Thank you for your channel. I just love your positive energy and infectious smile.

Please suggest what type of hair style suits me
I love this! You've inspired me to transition and try it. 💞👍🏻
Where is your salon?
Hi, I have long gray hair and want to enhance either highlight or gray blend . I really like Christina’s long gray hair, what did she do to it to help her gray look this good ?
I'm growing out my grey hair. Now I have got past the pain threshold I am enjoying watching my hair change. Nature is giving me a makeover!
I switched to highlighting mine and it was a pretty easy transition
Great fb group Gray and Proud may help.
I'm over 4 yrs now and remember the beginning and the roller coaster ride it can be ..best wishes
@@kuvasz93 Wow that is a super helpful tip! Thank you so much for sharing it.
I agree . I just have a toner every six weeks . It's close enough to my blonde lower half of my hair
Can I guess that you have more reddish undertones in your skin?
I checked out the Goldie locks hair care and honestly don’t have the money to spend on such a thing.. It’s out of my price range and honestly although it looks great isn’t for everyone’s pocket.. Especially mine 😂
Can we do a tutorial for people like me who have grey hair and honestly aren’t rocking a Dyson or enormous amounts of cash to fritter away! We’re living in a time right now where we all have to prioritise and my priorities are definitely on keeping a house going. I still want to look good and believe I can but not spending this amount.. Love you and your tutorials so please don’t take this the wrong way. Sending love ❤️

Oh my gosh! I almost choked when I saw the prices!!!! Yes, please show some reasonable alternatives ❤️
The serum is possibly, maybe doable but definitely not the shampoo lol
It always comes down to money w these influencers in the beauty community
Weekly rinse. Beauty supply .Big bottle. Lasts forever. Shake well.
U can use food coloring . Red + blue =pirple u know
I started going natural when I was 43 for several reasons. I am so glad I did. I love my gray and white hair.
Yes more gray hair content please!!!
You got it girl! I am working away on more and more content to make you guys happy.
I started the transition to my natural color 5 years, best decision I've ever made! I'm so happy I did, I get more compliments now than before💓
I love this! I'm turning 40 in a few days and I'm turning gray at 39. This video has inspired me to embrace my grays. ❤
Maybe you could do a video transition to grey with someone who has thinner, finer hair. I think grey looks amazing on women like your friend who has lots of hair to support the look, but a lot of us getting older thin out feel like we can’t support the look.
Exactly!
All the women that get shown have a lot of hair!
Its october 2024 and this is the best video about gray hair I have seen in four years, since I became gray. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Yes, please give us more tips on gray blending and "ashing out." Thanks for making this video.
U use a dish water brown on roots. Anything w ash in 🎉he name . Blends better than brassy, gold color.
And you look so nice! 😀 This will be my step!
@@mariapawlicka2487 She does look so nice. She looks absolutely stunning.
@@KarinCarr Don't you wish you could go back in time and tell your old self "don't worry...keep going...it will be worth it."
Try Rogaine. I have been using it for 20 years.
@@weddie24 I will check it out, thank you!
Definitely have your thyroid checked.
I got my first at 21 . Haven’t colored in. 3 years love my salt peeper and a little light brown .
I don't have greys quite yet but I do love the look of natural grey and white hair. It looks so good when cared for.
Same here. I don't have grey yet but I think it is SO STUNNING when it comes in in all its natural glory.
I started greying in my 30’s.
It came in initially at the front and grew out as a streak. I loved it. I have never dyed it. It is white now and I still love it.
That's me now. Mainly in the front. And I intend to let it grow out naturally.

I really like your videos and have been following you for awhile, so thank you!😊
I'm letting my hair go grey, love the transition. No more a slave to color every two weeks.
Thank goodness gray is coming in and you look good with it because you don't have to hide it no more the more I dye my grays the worst my hair gets so embrace it
She is stunning and her hair color is GORGEOUS! Thank you for sharing your tips for us grey-haired girls!
I went the hard yards and transitioned to grey hair and did most of the things you suggested. I love my natural hair colour and look after it. My hair is a billion times healthier than when I dyed it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE YESSSS I NEED A VIDEO ON TRANSITIONING!!!!
Went with my natural gray hair and LOVE it! It’s silver and compliments are routine. The challenge is helping clients transition.
When I began transitioning..I wore more hats , scarfs and head bands to add color...so glad I did it...
Great video and channel! and here’s my “yes” vote to more gray hair content.
Thanks for taking the time to leave me a message. You got it Michelle. I am working hard on making helpful comment for you guys everyday.
@@GlamGirlGabi yes! More!😉👍❤
I have curly dark brown hair and am transitioning now to grey.
MY bangs area is a little landing strip now . And fake bangs look too wiggy. Extensions fall off. Hats r good.
U can hat it outside.

I stopped 4 cuts ago dying my hair .. it’s short so the grey is coming thru fast and I love it ( not to speak of the $$$ I’ve saved) . I’m 70 and it was time ❤🎉🎉
I Stopped at 70 becs it bothered my eyes so much. Our eyes get so sensitv. Can,t take much in make up either. Pencil.
Her gray hair is beautiful. It makes me want to grow out mine but I'm afraid it's going to make me look old. Thanks for some great tips on how to care for gray hair and for demonstrating a beautiful lady with beautiful gray hair.
I was today years old when I heard the term MUSHROOM BROWN! AND I'M HERE FOR IT!!! I love this. Definitely trying it out.
Oddly my skin got maybe 2 shades darKer . My legs hold the tan til xmas.
PLEASE make more videos on transitioning not only to gray but also white! 42 year old female with not gray, but all white hair coming in. I’m not dying anymore, but am scared to make the total transition just yet! But with the amount of white hair, I need to!
Try adding some lowlights.
I coloured my hair to cover grey for years. After several tries to start going grey, I found a way to help. I used a spray in colour over the grey roots each day. It washed out of course but after a few months of doing this I was already on the road to going grey!
Ok thank you for the tip! I want to grow out my hair, but i have a dark haircolor. I'm going to look for it
doesn't your hair get dry or stiff from the spray? I had read that somewhere 😀
@@madelainemadelaine2934 ok glad to hear that. I live in the Netherlands, i will look for it! Thank you😘
Yes please do a video on transitioning color please! I’m 37 years young but I’m just tired of having to do it every 2 weeks! I can’t.
You don't have to😊 Grey hair is just as beautiful❤
Her hair is a gorgeous tone of grey I wish mine looked like that mine looks white
Quit coloring years ago. Love it and would never go back. Took 2 years to grow out and I won’t lie, it’s hard but so worth it.
Yay, good for you, from a fellow silver sister. 😁 It's so freeing isn't it?
thank you, Gabi. Yes, please, I would like a video on how to blend colors at home for ashing out my brown hair and blending it into my gray

Watching ur video big difference.
I have never plucked a hair out of my head that’s crazy talk! I did dye but gave it up and embraced the silver. I also deep condition with every wash. The steam treatments are amazing!
You’ve never ever plucked a white hair out!? Girl….you’re better then me. I pluck at least three out of my head per month 😂

I’m fully grey and have been for ten years. I’ve never felt old and I’m 60! It’s a state of mind….and your energy follows.
I have grey highlights along my face and they have turned a little yellow lately, which is great because now it looks like natural highlights. 🙂
Buy fake bangs to cover your part.
Hi 👋how are you doing?
What brand do u use
😄
@@happym3008 I found a brand called Difeel Jamaican black castor oil superior growth shampoo at TJMaxx but I think Amazon carries it too
I transitioned starting in April 2022. I’m 51.
Thank you, I wondered about the rice shampoos
I did my transmisión to gray and I am so happy that I can enjoy now my natural hair 😍
She's right about having to go more and more often to cover the gray. I went cold turkey. Cut my hair short and went grey. That was 5 years ago. Now, my hair is that beautiful silver color naturally. I'm very happy with it.
YES!! I want more advice about going from coloring my hair to going gray...PLZ! Thanks for the video

I dye soft black, use gray & white color wax to the ends of my hair to add "highlights" and let my natural tinsel grow in. Easy peasy!
Love your videos!!!!
me too
I've been gray since age 14 and colored for many years.
I'm the same here. Starting going grey at 6yo. Can you please share tips for your curly hair please?
Love this!!! I''m not very gray yet but I know it's something I need to think about and have been doing research to develop a plan of action for when I'm ready to transition and embrace natural gray!... This video is PERFECT!!!
YES!!!! More Gray transition videos.
Those silver and grey haired women looked beautiful.
As beautiful natural is I could never go gray but admire those who do embrace it ;] That is beauty right there ;] CONFIDENCE ;]
Love my purple shampoo and conditioner.
Please, please, PLEASE do a transition to grey video! I need help & encouragement to take that leap.
When I got into my late 60’s I decided to embrace my grays and I’m glad I did.
Sorry, I love the contrast of the salt and pepper look. I took a highlighting cap and applied black in my grey hair. I get compliments all the time.
Nice! That’s a good idea! I bet it looks stunning.
Love love love grey hair!!!
Mine won’t come in fast enough!
It’s so gorgeous isn’t it? I love it too.
Her hair is stunning!!!! As is she 😊
Another video on grey hair would be wonderful and I have never put on a treatment mask. 😢 Love this video ❤️
I have really been debating whether or not I want color the gray back to my normal very dark brown.
More on how to transition. I'm considering a change but don't know how. I'm so glad I found your videos. Your model is beautiful.
