Sarah should take things slowly when she returned home. If she was not desperate Lily won't become suspicious of her that soon. She knew the girl was very smart

Ye , as far as I know nobody came up with magic pill for psychopathy...those ppl just don't have capacity to feel normal emotions, they mimic them often to "blend in", and wont feel remorse in same way cat wont after catching a mouse,,,he might roll down and do trick if that help him score his petting by upset owner ( don't mean obviously cats are same as wicked ppl, but in hunting cats just follow their instincts and can't understand why some of their humans wouldn't like their gifts, but when see human reaction, might try different trick to Please them), this girl might learn in therapy, that its expected from her to feel bad about what she did, so she played the role accordingly, that's all.

I suppose that nowadays, if a young girl like that gets into a psychiatric hospital, and the staff is any good, they should be able to sort out what happened, in her cognition and behaviour. It's heartbreaking and scary at the same time. Together with a less dominant girlfriend she killed another child. All out of some fantasy-hallucinatoire situation that did not coher with the situation in reality.
reminds me of this girl, her husbands son would taunt her whilst she was pregnant, the husband didn't believe her, she almost lost her child and had to give birth premature due to high stress, so her baby had to develop in a bottle. Yea, step parenting ain't for the faint hearted.

ouch this is a bit close to home ... I met a very special man whose 8 yo daughter was more comfortable with a passing parade of partners. Any lady who got close she sabotaged and doting dad refused to see it. She didn't kill but she sure had a very wilful way ...
I think stepmoms who start stepping into the shoes of mother will get strong reactions from step kids !! I got on well with my step mum because she never tried to be my mother !! I think step mums should just leave the natural parent to sort it out till kids have adjusted to some stranger out of the blue telling them what to do all of a sudden
It is a shame that this movie is so bad, bad acting. Because the manuskript is very good. This could have been a really really good story, because there is so many emotions of each charactors. This story is actually very good, because we follow the feelings of each charactors. Sad that it was made by someone who made this story a B MOVIE

You never marry a man who is basically a stranger to you after having sex with him right away and spending time together only a short duration!! It takes a longer time to know someone!! Didn't see std's test done or condoms used. Very shortly afer they're married. Things started now to get ugly in nasty frightening ways. Then we get messed up for not taking our time with some persons repeatedly who are really both strangers at the time. And that's the way of the world...
Why would the assistant show up wherever they are? In bed, on a private island...that's some pretty hard creeping! Yet the couple gets married and pregnant fast, and she quickly becomes bitchy wife and husband becomes a woos. It's a whodunnit, but still people make stupid decisions...
I haven't finished watching it yet, but if a grown up can change their mind, a child should have been able too and just because you are a child I do not think you need to be told what to do and that you must obey, like with the dishes. That was a very bossy attitude from the stepmother. And, yes, it seemed they were sending the girl away. And not to be considerate when a teen, a 13 year old changes their mind on such a sensitive matter? For a teen is much more intense plus it was about home, father, being sent away, it was an awfully important matter. Children are not just objects to be told what to do.

That father was spoiling his daughter, and she clearly needed some boundaries. There is nothing wrong to enforce doing chores on a child staying in your home - no matter their age.

Children need disipline and should do chores around the house and not be spoilt. The kid may not want to do chores but if she doesn't she will always be lazy and think she can always do what she wants adults have to do things around the house and have to work to earn a living.
Without boundaries, discipline, and chores, a child will be spoilt. Think of the word "spoilt." It means ruining something. That is what indulging children does to them.
