Barry played exclusively in open D. This is his guitar. He also didn't play conventional minor chords in the tuning. Most of his minors were played on the first four strings, by fretting strings 1, 2 and 4 at the same fret and the third string one fret behind. The only minor he didn't play like this was a b minor, which was fretted with strings 2 and 5 at the second fret and strings 3 and 4 open.
Surprised no one has mentioned that the photo is reversed (how to tell- Robin's hair falls to his right, not his left). Can you fix it or is to not doable? Thanks!
