@@maartenvangeffen4508 I think OP is referring to Top 40s music and mainstream media that you hear on the radio, its extremely rare to hear jazz and bossa nova on Top 40 radio stations and instead those are swept under more obscure radio stations that dedicate to jazz only which have far fewer listeners than the mainstream ones
My favorite thing is finding comments from boomers about how their era's music was superior and how the youth today are all artless wastrels, when rock n roll and jazz were also called the Devil's music in their time. There is great talent in every generation, grandpa. You just need an open mind.
