- Part 2 of the Goa'uld get owned series....
One of my favourite scenes this time.
Not sure why the quality isn't as good as before.... I used the same DVD ripper
Please don't sue me Развлечения
"Teal'c. As far as you know, what just happened?"
"I have had my revenge."
And that my friends, is why you put the bridge of your ship BEHIND the super future armour
Or just activate your shields instead of being intimidating
@@Vasun05 Most Alkesh don't seem to come with them as standard equipment (otherwise Teal'c and O'Neill wouldn't have been able to shoot one down by chasing it with a glider!)...hell, I only remember one Alkesh with a shield and that was the one the alternate Teal'c used in Continuum (where he deploys the shield to protect the Russian Stargate Facility from orbital fire!)...also atmospheres weaken Go'auld shields (even the advanced ones Anubis uses - his flagship was destroyed that way)
The bridge should be at the very center of a ship
13 years later this was recommended to me. All praise the RUclips algorithm!
I have the moustache for real..lol
Praise
SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND *BOOM*
Best staff shot of the series
Tanith was met with a powerful slap of 'Indeed'
I simply LOVE Teal'c with that cannon!
Why does this remind me of the Tim Burton Batman movie, where the Joker pulls a really big gun and shoots down the Batwing?
Not a really big gun - a really looong gun...
In a franchise full of epic endings, comebacks, re-comebacks, triple comebacks, and 2nd/3rd/4th-time epic endings, this type of story arc finish was refreshing imo. Huge buildup over multiple episodes, then climaxed in 20 secs of a show's prologue. This episode focused more on saving Private Teal'c, and I thought that was a nice change.
I feel that there should have been an episode before this one. Where they are invading a Goa’uld stronghold which Tanith is in command of. Then end off in a cliff hanger right before this episode starts off. It would have been better this way.
Yeah
Still trying to understand how a Stargate can survive a blackhole, meteor strikes, naquadah enriched nuclear bombs but a gouald vessel falls near it, and explodes and it breaks ?
It doesn’t break.
It stays in orbit of a blackhole, the meteor only covered it, the enriched bomb not sure.
Same, its wasnt consistent. But still like this episode
strange how the stargate was destroyed by such a small explosion, some survive bigger
This clip is from Seasons 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 Intro.
Forget the algorithm, I searched for this!
Teal'c blows Tanith away and goes thru the stargate.
O'Neall standing in front of a smoldering DHD (Where the fuck did the DHD come from?!): How ya doin' buddy? You owe your life to a Goa'uld!
Teal'c: WTF just happened to me?
The best owning ever. What a shot.
Starting at 00:02 is that Dan Shea running instead of RDA...cuz it doesn't look like RDA
Player: This gun does only 12-18 DMG.
Game: Critical hit boi
Although I am glad they finished the T'ealc and Tanith storyline, where T'ealc finally got his revenge, I find it very unsatisfying, with the way they ended. Story's like that need to be finished in person, like T'ealc arms around Tanith's neck and snapping it
Shades of mini/maxi gun terminator style,,,
0:13 Indeeeeeeeeeeed
epic!! teal'c: indeed
Every one with a sensible weapon
Teal'c with an Anti tank weapon or dual wielding weapons that a human needs two hands to use
I don't care how powerful and evil the snake in your head is.
That's gotta HURT...
@Fbueller129 Well, the gate wasn't destroyed, it was the power surge that closed the connection before rematerializing :P
Hell of a shot
You thought the BFG-9000 was hot! Take a look at the NEW BFG-12000! Even more boom in a man-portable weapon! Brought to you by Tau-Ree weapons (a tiny little division of the USAF).
DOWN YOU GO!
48 hours
Thanks
Methos meets his end.
Epic win., :D
good job teal'c!
Best shot ever!!!!!!!
What episode this from?
what episode
Damn Tealc was badass! Just like rambo or terminator!.. I miss him from the new series.. :/
I'm surprised at how people actually love this given that it's such an anticlimactic end to a villain after all the buildup between him and Teal'c. I mean, imagine this happening to Kylo Ren at the beginning of Star Wars episode 8.
teal'c's satisfaction smile makes it worth it though
boo453 It's the least they could show.

I agree fully. Tanith was such a good character to hate, they built him up in pieces and he actually felt more devious and manipulative than most of the other main antagonists. The way he smirks and speaks with those slow sycophantic overtones... he sorely needed a better, more climactic end.
jp3813 Agreed.
Very unsatisfying.
Agreed Although I am glad they finished the T'ealc and Tanith storyline, where T'ealc finally got his revenge and didn't leave it unfinished, I still find it very unsatisfying, with the way they ended it. Story's like that need to be finished in person, like T'ealc arms around Tanith's neck and snapping it
I know, Ive seen it all. :p
You really expect them to have shields on most of their attack craft, not just the motherships.
Why? Teal'c says why.
They do have shields.
Just not very good ones.
I mean it's Goauld tech, you can't expect to much.
Also while not explicitly stated we know that other Goauld shields are severely less effective if used in atmosphere, this probably is the case for Al'kesh as well

I find it weird that the ship getting destroyed broke a stargate
Not even a direct impact. We've seen the gates survive worse.
Isn't the gate but the DHD who has been destroyed.
Wait, did that just destroy the stargate?
I thought those things were borderline indestructible!
They say in the episode it was the DHD that was destroyed not the gate, the power got severed when that happened.
@@terranwar ah, ok. There ya go.
