While I never got the feeling he was "looking for the most quiet place in the universe", the audio and visuals were very well done, and compelling. I hope to see more of your work 'in the future'... :)
Agreed on both counts..The Vacuum of space is already extremely quiet..So while I respect the artist's choosing their own title, for me it works if I mentally substitute "the most peaceful place in the universe"...an inherently personal (subjective &based on one's mind's state) framing rather than "the most quiet" but as you said the images and music were really creative and beautiful.
Makes me think alot about when I play no man's sky... Endless sight seeing and searching for planets to construct your base on. That tree is my goal to achieve, the beauty with happiness I seek, yet the trek there takes hours even days and then you snap back to reality and realize... You now have to build the darned thing :)
Beautifully put together. The image at 2:32 is particularly awesome. Not the only one. The pace and taste of the music score is most welcome from too many Sci-Fi shorts and films being saturated with hyper-bombastic noise.
Thank you so much for the awesome kind words, I'm so happy you liked the score and the pace of the film. Seems like it's a bit dividing but I'm glad when someone's getting what's the intent was without feeling like they wasted time watching. At the end it's just an attempt to offer a peaceful moment in space, listening to soothing melodies and enjoying some carefully crafted visuals. I'm grateful if you got that. Thanks!
If Johnny bravo had a leaner brother that's him in this. I loooove the pads and reverbssss and music. After watching this x2. It shows the spacecraft's plural flying in space twice. Once on a picture on his desk in his mother ship and once more when he walking on the earth. Now to me if I were try to figure out some story believe I enjoyed this regardless but there must be a deeper meaning to this bit other than for some cool creative scenerios/shots and good music. If those spaceshifts that looked like shooting stars were key to this animated film. I think those were like him the first humans to populate planet earth. In other words he found out that everyone was going to earth and he got right to it and dipped and found first piece of land which he wanted when he arrived. Orrrrr The end in his room with rain and his desk and coffee and building in background which suggests modern day. He is simply day dreaming of some cool stuff. Either way dope film!
Thanks so much Robert! Hope your projects are going well, all the content you're producing showing the process and sharing the project taking shape is just a gold mine! Cheers sir!
Beautiful. The cinematography, art style, and the music blended so well together. Storytelling without the dialogue had me right at the start and kept me there all the way. Nicely done. ♪
Just watched this, I'm still trying to decide which came first with this project,eg:was the music composed for this film,or was the film developed for the tune, they both work so well together,if you know what I mean, brilliant
I'm so pleased about your comment as this was one of the main objective in developping this film. You couldn't make me happier. For the record, while sketching some visual and narrative ideas for the film I mostly worked on some muscial pieces to define the mood, pace and feeling of the journey I wanted to depict, and then it evolved in parallel for a while until it came to a point where the visuals were the main focus. Of course at the end there have been some tweaks to polish the whole thing as much as possible. Thanks!
Thanks, sorry for the late reply. Just in case to answer you question, I did compose a bunch of tracks to illustrate this journey and helping me creating the whole film as a foundation, there's a selection of them on my soundcloud and you can find the link in the description if you're interested in giving a listen, but seems like you already found it. Many thanks!
Hey, thanks a lot for the support I'm glad you like the soundtrack, it was the whole starting point and main idea behind the film in order to offer a musical journey illustrated with peaceful and soothing visuals and narrative elements, so I'm really pleased when it resonnate with people, thanks so much! Hard to say exactly what synth I used as its a big mix of lots of things, from samples to various digital synths. What I can say though is that I created it using Maschine, with a bunch of Native instruments awesome vst and synth among other personnal recordings. Hope it helps a bit. Thanks again for your kind words and have a nice day!
Hi, thanks for your interest but I'm afraid you can't, the content of this film (visuals, story, sound, music etc) is under copyrights so it isn't free to use in any other project of any kind. Wish you the best for your project.
🟦... The device released from the ship just after 2:59 is absurd, it has flame propelling it Forward but not a CLUE as to what's keep'n it in the AIR!... Ridiculous!
When I first saw the title I thought it was going to be an animation to Pink Floyds Echoes, from the album Meddle, so it was a bit of a surprise that it was different to what I was expecting, Well filmed and great sound track.
DMT micro dose? 🤔 Lol, great work! Oozes with style. 👍 Pretty amazing it's all after effects, I thought I was looking at a 3d character at parts. Subbed. 🤩
SO THIS IS A STORY ABOUT A MAN LIVING A BORING LIFE IN THE CITY....HE HAS A GOOD JOB THAT ALLOWS HIM TO BUY STUFF THAT HELP HIM DREAM ABOUT A LIFE IN THE STARS .......BASICALLY EVERYONE DOES THIS SOMETIMES
I have never understood animation films where the pilot ship lands on the other side of the planet, then the explorer ship travels several more days only to have the character WALK seemingly forever to get to their destination
Hi, thanks so much for the kind words, it's much appreciated and I'm happy you had a nice moment watching the film and listening the soundtrack, thanks for giving it a shot it really means the world to me. The aspect ratio of the film is 2.35, classic cinema ratio that is pretty rare in animation actually. Always thought it looks nice.
A futuristic space traveler explores the mysteries of an alien LIVINGROOM world! What ghastly horrors await this curious traveler? Next, the traveler will journey to the KITCHEN world to explore a pizza box.
Well, I haven't a clue what it was about, but it looked to be very well done.
It's about escapism
The soundtrack is amazing and the immersion perfect!
The perfect emulation of how a soundtrack reverbes on our imagination.
That couldn't make me happier, thanks so much for watching and sharing those kind words!
Was it HUVA network
This was truly intriguing. The ending was not expected but welcomed. Well done an award winning piece.
Thank you so much!
Dude knows how tell a story. That's all matters.
Wow, love the composition in every single shot. This is beautiful
Thanks so much, means a lot to me as it's one of the thing I enjoy the most in the process.

I took it another way. That the music took HIM on that journey. It did me!
The journey within. Exploration of mind, spirit and soul.
Excellent work ! I love how you captured the emotion and mental pattern of imagination through the looking glass. Bravo !!
Thank you so much, so motiviating to hear! Have a great day!

So Many fond memories of this FIlm Martial.
Hey Heath! Thanks man yeah that was a real blast! Can't wait to jump back in with you!
My heart beat syncs to this beat as I perform my healings. Yes, this has become my "Healing Tune". Thank You Martial!
Oh thank you for adopting it and giving it a whole new dimension. So glad it can serve as something like that, I would never imagine, thank you!

Merci beaucoup, c'est exactement le sentiment que j'espère apporter avec ce film, offrir un court moment de calme et de quiétude :)
Sweet. I want this remixed so it's 20 minutes long.
Ahah well, might be a bit long for such a quiet piece, but it would be cool to explore some deeper stuff in a longer piece for sure.

Intriguing. Thanks for posting!!!
Was there some point to that? I want my time back.
These depliced " Echoes " are the same creative design thinking that makes innovations real... Part of our true instincts is that contemplation
Thanks a lot for that, happy you enjoyed the film, thanks for taking the time to watch and support!

All these SCI FI shorts are is an exercise in cartooning or special effects with NO STORY! Blah.

Fancy graphics, no narrative. IMHO Kind of Boeing.
