Why does Blade Runner stands the test of time and never aged? Because it's all practical. As for CGI if used with parsimony to amplify a little bit good practical effects it will also stand the test of time. And "Slice of Life" will go down in time the same way, in 25 years it will still look amazing today as it did when first released. As for this short film, it's a masterpiece on every level, and as a big fan of the Cyberpunk Aesthetic you captured that world, that city and the mood like bosses. Well done.

Ahhh, this is still the best Short I've seen since your festival debut and continues to inspire. Sadly, I gave up on my large production miniatures to save room, but the garbage city will always have a place in my heart. I can't wait to see your next production!

I just saw this for the first time. I was really sad when I found out it came out a year ago, meaning I'm late to the party. But this is hands down one of the most creative and legitimate youtube short films I've ever seen. Especially after going on your website and looking at the behind the scenes features. This is definitely one of those few instances where the words "award-winning" on the title actually means something. Amazing.

This certainly feels like a side story within the original Blade runner universe. Incredibly well done, perfect execution of the Ridley aesthetic, even down to the music, sound effects, and camera angles. I'd watch more of these in a heartbeat.

The best sci-fi short on RUclips, forget boring Dust, this had a good plot, action, drama, suspense and they did it with no dialogue, I actually enjoyed it more than the 2049 short stories, I'll be watching this again.

The production is spotless and the knowledge in the old craft of making sci-fi movies....but the script and the story are absolute crap.
Long Boring scenes that have nothing to do with short movies.
This whole thing could be told in 10 min short not 25.
Again the tech is amazing but that is the problem today .No good writers
I was involved in the same style of production but computer generated animation. It took years to be made but the script and the story were complete crap.
These movies got awards for looks .

This was the best use of less money (other than Godzilla Minus One) I have ever seen. The effects, the CG, tremendous acting and strong message, just fantastic all the way around. I was impressed when I saw they had rats in it because that usually means a wrangler, a bigger budget type of element. This would fit right in with so many huge budget sci fi films. Please, keep doing what you did here!
