I'm an aquatic biologist and work in the southeast. I snorkel and dive in gator habitat all the time just in zero to near zero visibly. Seeing those tracks on the bottom never ceases to get my heart rate up.
That said, you're nuts. I do all i reasonably can to stay away from the large predators.

It's insane to me that such a massive animal can move about and barely disturb the water. It's no wonder that they've survived, unchanged, over millions of years when they're so perfectly adapted to being completely undetected - and I love that the reason they're like this is 100% to allow them to successfully capture they're prey, they're an apex predator, but it also keeps them safe from us - just think how many crocs have survived hunters over the last few hundred years because, even as one of the largest animals on the planet and by far the largest reptiles, their instinctual stealth allows them to go undetected to the vast majority of people. I bet there are far more people who have swam past a crocodile or alligator and never even known it was there than have been attacked by them.

I grew up around alligators and for the most part they leave you alone if you leave them alone. I would swim in canals with alligators present. Occasionally one would start swimming towards you, but you just chuck a rock at it and it would leave. I know crocodiles are more aggressive than alligators, so there is no way I would get in the water with a crocodile. We had a 13 foot gator that was snatching pigs from our farm. He was massive. I can’t imagine how big that 15 foot croc was.

I know they are dangerous, but I feel like this really de-monsterifies them. Crocodilians are so often only seen for their aggressive behavior, but seeing this one just calmly resting on the sand completely changes that. They’re just as normal as any other animal, and they don’t spend all of the time fighting. If even seems like the crocodile is relaxed! They’re just like lions or wolves, they aren’t simply killing machines.

Crocs won't attack under the water
As long you don't swim like fast or moving to much and you must swim normal horizontal once you will start panicking and move fast that's the time they might relate with a prey in the water.
Is just an idea of what he did and he demonstrate
Don't confuse when they bring their prey under the water.
This might a possibility on how to survive under the water with croc if you don't have choice based on the video.

Are American crocs more tame than Australian?. If it was an Australian, they would have had to retrieve that footage from its stomach! Balls of steel!

0:41 not to be all pushy or anything, but even if ur an expert, getting that close to a crocodile isn’t really a good idea.
Keep up the good work tho

That can’t be anything else but an American crocodile!

Well, with huge boa constrictor snakes, fire ants, alligators, killer bees and Ron DeSantis, I'll have to add Crocodiles to my list of why I won't ever move to Florida!
