I'm a very casual viewer of this channel. I found it when I was trying to decide on what camera to purchase and was impressed with the no nonsense non pretentious approach to cam reviews. But the one lasting effect this channel has had on me, is referring to Bokeh as Toné (and chuckling to myself every single time I do it). It just never stops being funny.

GoPro with ultraview is so much better than 480p 4:3 rescaled to 16:9 on my TV. I want this for all interviews with politicians I might have to see in the future! It enhances body language in a way that you just can’t beat… love it 😂

Dear Kase, love your videos..love the Toneh shirt! It’s softer than a barrel full of dead minks. My question is more confession. I’m a canon shooter and I decided to get my first canon R mount. But which one? My focus is on video , I know the R can do slo mo at 720p, which is fine for me. But I’ve seen it compared to the R6mkii on one of your old videos and to me the R looked cleaner. I have a bunch of EF glass(35 1.4L,17-40f4L, and will adapt it until I start getting the new RF stuff. I’ve held out on a mirrorless for a while and now it’s time.

Just a technical note, the 60-600 does have sync stabe with the S5ii. It's just not the full Dual I.S.2 goodness you'd get from a Lumix lens..

There was a RUclipsr who specialized in conspiracy theories about cameras. His channel was filled with bizarre claims, such as the idea that cameras were secretly alive and could manipulate their owners for their own purposes.
According to the RUclipsr, cameras had their own hidden agenda, and were working together to control the minds of photographers around the world. He claimed that the lenses could transmit secret messages to their owners, convincing them to take certain types of photos or to use specific settings.
The RUclipsr would spend hours poring over old camera manuals and schematics, looking for hidden clues that might support his theories. He would present his findings in long, rambling videos, complete with ominous music and dramatic voiceovers.
Some of his followers found his theories entertaining, while others were genuinely convinced that something strange was going on with their cameras. They started to see hidden messages in their photos, and became convinced that their equipment was trying to communicate with them in some way.
Eventually, the RUclipsr's theories grew more and more outlandish, until he was claiming that the cameras were part of a vast intergalactic conspiracy to take over the world. His followers, already on edge from his previous theories, started to panic.
In the end, the RUclipsr's channel was shut down, but not before he had convinced a small but devoted group of followers that their cameras were not to be trusted. To this day, some photographers still whisper about the camera conspiracies, convinced that their equipment is more than just a simple tool.

I’ve owned Fuji 16 1.4 since 2015 and it’s AMAZING. The 16 and my 35 1.4 are my go to X lenses even tho I shoot 50r and 100s now. I don’t shoot video at all.

RUclips used ro be 360p videos. They keep upping their fidelity little by little. There's no reason not to buy gear that can perform better than what RUclips can do right now, lest you'd want to have to upgrade each time we get a performance bump or be the dude that don't keep up.

All week I have been thinking about a Pentax Spotmatic. Back in 1964-5, I would regularly visit my local camera store, after school, to drool over one. Who needs a bayonet mount, when one can screw in a lens? At least the Spotmatic was an SLR (Single Lens Reflex). At the time, I was using a Contax IIa, which only had a viewfinder, but with much better lenses. My first SLR was a used East-German Praktica. When I finally could afford something new, it was a Yashica, that used the same bayonet mount as a Contax SLR. Most of the time, I bought Kodak Tri-X film, ASA 400, for action shots, or ducks at dusk. Of course, there was also some special occasions when one would use Ilford Pan F, or even Kodak Ektachrome. The problem with both of these was that they were very finicky to develop = temperature sensitive. I still have a couple of rolls of Ektachrome in the fridge. Someone will throw them out after I die. They have probably been there for at least twenty years. The developing equipment is still in the attic. My neighbour may be forty years younger than I am, but he regularly shoots and develops plate film. He uses an 8" x 10" camera. He thinks I'm too modern, relying on my Zenfone 9, to take photos any time I want, and not having to think about the cost of film or developing.

Longest arms on RUclips
You know, the Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 12K has an 85 MP sensor and it can do 60fps in 12K, 120fps in 8K with no crop. (240fps in 4K but cropped to Super 16). I think that is plenty fast so we don't necessarily need to limit the sensor to 8MP for the sake of speed :) Shoot it in 8K and export in 4K.
If the sensor is only 8 megapixel, then you don't get stabilisation. You need a margin to be able to move the sensor around.
You can say that about every sensor. They don't use their full potential and have to crop a bit for IBIS. My dream system would have internal ND's instead of IBIS with amazing optical stabe plus digital.

Casey, I didn’t want to have to say this, but your DoucheTtube game has fallen off. A measly LED in the background isn’t going to cut. A dozen or so meters of fairy lights and smash cuts are a good start, but you need to start thinking bigger. Literally. 1 out of every 3 pixels should be dedicated to your face, sunglasses and indoor beanie (ears tucked way in, barely an earlobe showing). Obviously, toneh will blur the remaining 2/3rd pixels out of existence. Remember to stay centered!
