For transparency: The reference to King Vikramaditya’s inscription in a Turkish library, specifically Sayar-ul-Okul from Makhtab-e-Sultania, is often mentioned in alternative historical discussions, particularly in the works of P. N. Oak. However, mainstream historians and academic institutions do not recognize any verified records of this manuscript or library.
I always strive to present history with an open mind, and while such claims exist, they remain debated and unverified in mainstream historical research. If anyone has authentic historical sources supporting this, I’m open to exploring further. Let’s keep the discussion factual and engaging!

India had definitely not forgotten him. Although he was convenientlydiscarded by mainstream historians as a myth best known for his role in Vikram and vetal.
Chakravathin by all rights, Vikramaditya is rivalled only by Lord Krishna in his knowledge of science, occult and statecraft. He is the most influential figure in KALKI era and had a very important role to play innshortening the span of KALKI.
Not well known is the fact the hw was the second son of Adi Sankaracharya's Guru - Govind Bhagawath Pada. He inherited the throne of his maternal grandfather, (Govind Bhagwatpada's Father in Law). His elder brother Hari abdicated the throne in Vikram's favour and took Sanyas under his father and became known as Brhathari.
Govind Bhagwat Pada's hermitage was on the bank of Narmada, just before his moksha he summoned both Vikram and and Sankara (to become Adi Sankaracharya) - He gave secret instruction to both.
Sankara was to secure and protect the spiritual borders of Sanatan Dharma for future generation and support Kalki. Voikrama was ordained a more arduous task of securing the Borders of Akhanda Bharat and also to carry out some essential tasks in the areas where Bharat weilded vivilisational influence as a soft power. His visits include visit to Solomon's Temple (AL AQSA MOSQUE) and Makeshwar Jyothirling (Mecca) and he carried out his Father's secret bidding.
CHAKRAVARTHI VIKRAMADITYA IS DEFINITELY NOT FORGOTTEN. He set up sleeper cells which have activated at various times in the past and will do so in the future.

Nalanda University, one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in the world, was located in ancient India, near modern-day Bihar. It flourished from the 5th century CE and attracted scholars from all over Asia, including China, Korea, Japan, Tibet, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. Nalanda was renowned for its vast library, which housed countless texts on subjects like Buddhism, philosophy, mathematics, astronomy, and medicine.
The destruction of Nalanda University is a tragic chapter in history. It was famously destroyed by the forces of Bakhtiyar Khilji, a Turkic Muslim invader, in 1193 CE. According to historical accounts, after capturing the city, Khilji's forces set fire to the university, and the immense library was burned for months, with thousands of manuscripts and irreplaceable knowledge lost forever. This act was not only a blow to intellectualism in India but also a significant loss to global learning.
The destruction of Nalanda was part of a larger pattern of invasions during the medieval period, where cultural and educational institutions were targeted. The decline of such centers of learning had long-lasting effects on India's intellectual and scientific advancements.
However, Nalanda's legacy lives on. In recent years, efforts have been made to revive Nalanda University, with the establishment of a new campus in the region, aiming to bring back its spirit of academic excellence.

This account of Samrat Vikramaditya contains a mix of historical facts, folklore, and speculation. Let’s fact-check the claims systematically:
    1. Did Vikramaditya Rule an Empire from Ujjain to Arabia?
No concrete historical evidence suggests that Samrat Vikramaditya ruled an empire stretching from India to Arabia, Iran, or Iraq.
Vikramaditya is a legendary title used by several Indian kings, particularly from the Gupta Dynasty (Chandragupta II, 375-415 CE) and later rulers.
The most famous Vikramaditya is Chandragupta II Vikramaditya, who defeated the Western Kshatrapas but did not rule over Arabia.
The Vikram Samvat calendar (57 BCE) is traditionally attributed to King Vikramaditya of Ujjain, but his historical existence remains debated.
    2. Did Vikramaditya Defeat the Sakas?
Yes, but not exactly as described.
The Sakas (Scythians) were Iranian-origin invaders who established kingdoms in India around the 1st century BCE.
The Saka invasions were stopped by rulers like Chandragupta II Vikramaditya (Gupta dynasty) and Rudradaman I (Western Kshatrapas).
The complete eradication of the Sakas is a myth, as Saka rulers continued ruling parts of India for centuries.
    3. Did the Huns (Xiongnu) Push the Sakas into India?
    Partially true.
The Xiongnu (Huns) and Sakas (Scythians) were distinct but related nomadic groups.
The Sakas were displaced by the Yuezhi (Kushans) rather than the Xiongnu.
The Sakas entered India around the 1st century BCE, while the Huns invaded India in the 5th century CE.
    4. Did Vikramaditya Establish a "Ram Rajya"?
    This is folklore, not history.
The idea of a Ram Rajya (ideal kingdom of Lord Rama) is used as a symbolic concept.
No historical records prove that a Vikramaditya ruler created an ideal kingdom explicitly based on Ram Rajya.
    5. Did Vikramaditya Rule for Over 100 Years?
    Highly unlikely.
No historical king has ruled for over 100 years in recorded history.
The lifespan of historical kings generally ranged between 40-70 years.
    6. Is Vikramaditya Mentioned in Arabic and Persian Texts?
No solid evidence supports this claim.
The supposed inscription in Istanbul's Maktab-e-Sultania Library has never been verified.
Arabic sources from the pre-Islamic era rarely mention Indian kings.
    7. Is the Vikram Samvat Calendar Linked to Vikramaditya?
Yes, but the origin is debated.
The Vikram Samvat calendar began in 57 BCE, but historians argue whether it was actually started by a historical Vikramaditya or later attributed to him.
Some scholars suggest it may have been introduced by the Malwa kings or Saka rulers themselves.
    8. Are Betal Pachisi and Singhasan Battisi Reliable Historical Records?
No, these are literary works, not historical accounts.
Betal Pachisi (Baital Pachisi) and Singhasan Battisi are medieval fables that glorify Vikramaditya but do not serve as reliable history.
They were written centuries after the supposed events took place.
    Conclusion:
This story blends history and legend. While a historical Vikramaditya (likely Chandragupta II) defeated the Sakas, many claims-such as ruling an empire up to Arabia, fighting the Huns, and ruling for 100 years-lack historical evidence and seem to be later mythological additions.

The reference to King Vikramaditya’s inscription in the Turkish library, specifically Sayar-ul-Okul from Makhtab-e-Sultania, is often cited in alternative historical narratives, most notably in the works of P. N. Oak. However, it is important to note that mainstream historians and academic sources do not recognize the existence of this manuscript or library.

There is a reason for why they declare him as a myth. If you are familiar with Kota V's and recently Vedveer Aryas work, the dating of Chandragupta Mauraya controversy, you will know exactly why. Vikramaditya in century 100BCE is supposed to have started the samvat era by defeating all the foreign kings like Sakas, Yavanas, Phallavs etc. But since they date Chandragupta Mauraya to the century 300BCE and consider him to have defeated the Greeks, Vikramaditya's history does not fit and hence they reject him as mythical. Not just that, but they juggle around Indian dates. So the Puranas place 1200 years between Mauraya and the Yavanas. But they have made them contemporary. The Puranas also say the Sakas come before the Greeks, but they have placed the Sakas after the Greeks. The Indian records and inscriptions say Saka era starts in around 600BCE and ends in around 100BCE, they place the start at 100CE. Even though we know India was under Persian rule in 600BCE, who were also Iranians. We also know from looking at Mauryan art and coins they have no Greek Hellenic influence at all and clearly belong to an older era. Unfortunately we can't scientifically date yet non carbon items, or it would have been obvious by now the Mauryan punch marked coins are not from 300BCE but around 1500BCE. But recently we now have indirect evidence from carbon dating proving it. Carbon dating of the shrine Ashoka built at Lumbini Nepal, showing dates of early site cultivation 1300BCE and now carbon dating of the late Gupta bower manuscript to 200CE, meaning early 300BCE was early Gupta. Thus we can now prove Vikramaditya is Chandragupta 2 of the Gupta era, also known as Vikram Aditya.
Guys they have totally messed up our dates and chronology. It is the duty of independent Indians now to correct it.
