@@lioli6961 It was definitely inspired by the same thing that inspired Mark's video, which I think originally was the animatronic recovery bits from Fazbear Pizzeria Simulator (I don't know whether that or the VHS tapes came first, but it's the same thing). I always thought the concept was a great idea in a similar vein to the original FNAF formula of not being able to run from the monsters, only you're sitting across the table from the monster and it's one of those 'it only moves when you look away' situations, but it needs to be implemented in just the right way to really make it work.

Man 102 episodes ! Crazy how time fly by... especially with Markimoo. Not to mention, that reference to Mark animatronic interview brings back memories !
The voice acting was pretty good, I just don't get why they had to stuff a guy in a clown robot. Like I'm sure it would be so much cheaper to just build an animatronic rather than hook up some guys neurals to a machine. Like it just seems so pointless from a business standpoint.
@@skyaero8773I'm sure there's a reason... this might be some type of messed up company that, instead of spending money on coding... found a way to use a single man to power them instead...
@@SwizzleDrizzl Eh I guess, but I do feel that trope gets misused a lot. If it was used for transferring consciousness like S.O.M.A. I could understand, but from what it looks like here it just seems they want to make a clown animatronic which id imagine there would be simpler ways of doing that. Kind of like how it always bugged me that in Poppy Playtime a toy company all of a sudden decided they wanted to be bio-engineers. Just feels like there is easier options for the exact same outcome.
@@skyaero8773I think the difference here is that these story types are meant to be slimy companies that want cutting edge tech without having to invent it. So they shove a person (or parts of them) into a shell etc and market it as advanced robotics if that makes sense

Agree, the puppet has an incredibly horrifying design, but instead of being subtle with the story they shove it to you in your face, completely remove the mystery of there being a real person inside and yeah the ending reveal felt not only obvious but unintentionally comedic somehow
Personally I found the game really unoriginal, being a lot like the Fnaf vhs tapes where they test the movement and sound recognition, with the twist where chika’s mask fall and we see a child ( I recommend seeing it if you aven’t, it’s really good)
@@josepablobonillajimenez6297exactly what i thought. the best part of horror is the vagueness of it, piecing it together. when any horror stuff forces you the information or tries too hard to get a point across it just takes away from it
@@lioli6961 It was definitely inspired by the same thing that inspired Mark's video, which I think originally was the animatronic recovery bits from Fazbear Pizzeria Simulator (I don't know whether that or the VHS tapes came first, but it's the same thing). I always thought the concept was a great idea in a similar vein to the original FNAF formula of not being able to run from the monsters, only you're sitting across the table from the monster and it's one of those 'it only moves when you look away' situations, but it needs to be implemented in just the right way to really make it work.
I think it was all pretty scary, but the face reveal was, admittedly, more funny then anything.
Mark just opening up with his infini-glock on the murderer while saying 'Oh I'm sorry, I'm SORRY' is just too fucking funny.
infini-glock LMAO
"yeeeeHAWWWWW! What kind of gun did that guy give me?"
So, I’ve been watching markiplier for more than 9 years. I started watching his channel when I was in kindergarten but now I’m a freshman in high school and I can’t believe how long it’s been and how amazing this channel has been. Can’t wait to see your next video mark. Keep up the good work
Oh yeah, I feel that 😁 I started as a teenager, we're ten yesrs later, he's grown and so have I.
I find it so cool that you got to enjoy Mark's content from kindergarten up to now, though ^_^
Is it an occasional thing (I do that then binge several videos from time to time), or do you prefer to watch 'im daily?
Kindergarten kids shouldn't watch markiplier tf
Always love me a good old 3 scary games video.
same hereee 🙏
It’s like a paycheck if you’ve been there since 3 Scary Games #1
Man 102 episodes ! Crazy how time fly by... especially with Markimoo. Not to mention, that reference to Mark animatronic interview brings back memories !
He is after all the great Wilford "Motherloving" Warfstache
The first game was hilarious, the part where the guy is screaming is the only terrifying part and yet it fits so well among the weird and silly stuff
@@skyaero8773Usually it's the trope of "We want to make a super-advanced robot using a human soul/mind"

Good to see/hear Wilford again.
wilford was kept in the dark too long 😔glad hes back
"Do you think I will be in the Iron Lung movie?" Made my day ngl
Now we just need tiny box Tim to come back

The edited in popper at 34:45 scared me more than anything else in these games
I have the weirdest phobia where I’m terrified of old songs like daisy bell, or we’ll meet again. So I got so scared when that first robot started singing the first song
31:09 WHY WAS THAT SO ON POINT IM CRYINGGG 😭😭😭😭
The first game is genuinely terrifying. Kidnapping and torture are bad enough, but replacing their body with a robot’s while their still conscious and attempting to override their consciousness??? Girl I felt NAUSEOUS. Props to the voice actor. I feel like this game wouldn’t have dealt as much damage without them
21:37 fellow American here, this DOES happen I have like upwards of 30 pistols that were given to me from local gas stations and convenience stores. Just gotta look out for one another :)
And you haven’t been passing them along? What the heck man? What if your local orphanage needs some? I think we should give the kids guns.
@hopesanddreams2998 why would the orphanage need that when they have a bio weapon testing site conveniently underneath? Scatter the guns and ammo sparsely into every desk, alleyway and treasure chest you come across instead like a sane person
That intro was the best thing I’ve ever seen. Like mark, that was literally high quality game material. I need more. MORE!
31:14 Markipliers hidden talent, sounding oddly close to an inhuman like sound
*Fart*
I've seen the house from the 2nd game soooo many times in different games. At this point I probably know my way around it better than in my own house.
Ikr 💀
This series ages like fine wine
@@universaltoonssubbed and liked
sorry for the bots bro
@@BlueNOrange Thanks bro
Lol, got attacked by bots! I'm so sorry I'm laughing. I couldn't help it!
Why?
The first game was pretty good because it had a wild plot. I enjoyed it even though it was just clicking “normal”
Mark: “Sounds like nightmare garbage to me…”
Narrator:”Please do not say nightmare or garbage or any combination of those words…”
Mark: Looks at us and just grins.
😊😊😊😊😊
How about a "Bozo Nightmare".?
From the first game that I first watched from Jack's channel, I still don't know how he was turned into a puppet, like did they just shove wires in him with some "horror magic" or what lmao
im guessing they just sorta spring trapped him, like they made the suit close it on him or something
They put his Conscience in it I believe that’s why he was screaming what the fuck are you doing to me if I remember correctly I could be wrong though
Just think of it as reprogramming a human
That game creeps me out more than so many other game
The first one gave me the creeps when Jack played it and it gave me the creeps now. Congratulations developer, because your game keeps me so unnerved it's fascinating... And terrifying
I know the developer they're really cool
right? the storyline is horrific, i love listening to it unfold in absolute horror
The knocking in Home Alone actually freaked me out for half a second. I had headphones on and have a window directly behind my bed where I'm sitting watching this and I genuinely thought someone was outside my window. I felt real panic for a split second until I realized it was coming from my headphones 😅
Up until the end, that first game was haunting, thanks to the cuts at least
my thoughts exactly
Ok but yall will eat fnaf up like a starving old person in an elderly home??
Make sense please.
@@AJGundamthey are very different in how they play. Make more sense please.
@@AJGundam who the hell said anything about fnaf? putting words in people's mouths at its finest
@yup2307 oh please. If it isn't Mark screaming Freddy every 5 seconds like a toddler yall treat it like poorly. Hive mind fanbase don't even know quality if it hit you in the face
That first game actually managed to make me really unnerved, hella good job to the devs and VA for that one, bc damn did they take a simple concept and run with it
The first game was amazing, the voice acting when he was in pain made my stomach twist though :,}
Yeah🧡
0:44 it's nice to see that Wilford is still using the animatronic version of himself lol
the WAIA sure is a better way to stay hidden from legalities!
Marks sound effect at 31:15 was actually so perfect it got me dying
Seriously tho
FRRRRRR I LAUGHED SO MUCH
lmao I wonder if there's any edit to it, because it's TOO PERFECT
Mark trying to subtly hint that the first game could've just been a youtube thing
Makes sense
That’s fair! Tho the reason the game is like that is bc it was part of a visual novel game jam
@@rosetea5899 understandable then yeah lol it was scary
Besides just being in a visual novel jam, I couldnt identify it, but there's something a lot more effective about it being interactive as an experience
@@TheCompleteMental yeah, true, but Mark's video version was interactive too
Ever since I watched jack play the prototype I’ve been excited to see if mark would play it, such an eerie game
...Was it a game? I feel like I watched a FNAF fan film made for a class project.
@@tomisabumyeah it felt more like a sit and watch "rpg" analog". not like it's a bad thing! it was very cool
it wasn't really a game though. it would have been better executed as just an analog horror video i think
He already played it
@@AodhMoriwho did? They’re saying since Jack played it they were excited to see it here
“Do you think I’m going to be in the Iron Lung movie?”
That just made me laugh for some reason
Right after jumping back from terror from the jump scare of course
oh, I get SO much joy from hearing Wilford Warfstache, what a treat
24:40 most american way of dealing with a murderer... I expected that from mark
Lol
Warftrap should absolutely be in the Iron Lung movie. The snarky animatronic companion to the prisoner exploring the blood oceans.
It should be in the FNAF movie too🥰🤖🦾
I love how Mark had just the same confused expression the entire first game 🤣
Second game he played the asset house is also partly used in 3 Scary Games #79 in the last game, where the kid is asking for a glass of water, don't ask why I remember that so vividly.
Oh. My. GOD! I loved the warfbot ( please correct me if that's the wrong spelling) in the intro!! I loved when Mark made the warfbot way back when, and it's still scary now! I love neat little surreal horror things like this!
His name is Warfstache, Wilford is his first name. But I'm happy to see him getting use again! Even if his clock seems to keep having issues.
They're talking about the animatronic version of warfstache
It's called the W.A.I.A = Warfstache Automated Interview Automaton
I think the long 'stimuli' noises in the beginning that are cut out here really add to the build up of discomfort in the first game. The pacing is slow and it actually works really well. 10/10 spooks
Mark’s face when he saw the play thing 1:34 was priceless. He went happy go lucky to terrified in an instant.
