For halloween this year, if you still have them, you should do a "Frankenstein" patchwork type of doll and use all the legs and arms that you have cut off and other miscellaneous body parts from other dolls to create one giant monster doll! That way no parts go to waste
This would be great! Or maybe a "Circus Freaks" theme, three legged woman or conjoined twins. There are some famous performers from the past she could look at for inspiration.
@@mairamanwaring9419 Conjoined twins is a fantastic idea, I would love to see that! Hope she could do that for haloween special or just make it for fun!
I think this is my absolute favorite! The bones, the iridescence... Initially I was second guessing some of the artistic choices, UNTIL THE END, perfection.
I absolutely love all of your projects however mermaids are very much one of my favorites and this color scheme particularly is absolutely my favorite you are so talented! One of the very few RUclipsrs I can actually re-watch your videos many times and not get bored.
This one, for me, is the definition of "trust the process". I was confused and not really liking it...until it was all put together! Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing her with us :3
Love the concept and the end result! First I thought the chains were a bit too much (the tail was already so gorgeous) but when I saw the photos at the end I changed my mind, everything looks great!
Love the idea of a dark mermaid, perhaps you could do a kind of mysterious dark deep ocean doll based off the mysterious and dark fish of the mariana trench.
She probably uses gel polish (the kind you cure with a UV lamp) & that’s why it doesn’t come off. Gel polish won’t come off unless you soak for a while in acetone.
The first ever Doll repaint video I saw was your Evil Ariel collab you did with Hextian and I fell in love with this art form. Here I am a few months later completely immersed and working on starting my own channel. You’re work is amazing and always an inspiration so Thank you!!!
Tissue paper is actually a really easy and effective way to do zombie skin for a zombie makeup look. Just separate all the layers and tear it into pieces. You can use a thin, *skin safe*, liquid latex or mix corn syrup and water to adhere it to your skin. Make sure to set with a powder. Then, you can use foundation or other skin-safe products to get the color and finish you want. You can make the zombie skin just slightly crêpe like, like you're newly dead, or really layer and fold it over itself to make it look like more advanced decay. After setting, you can rip holes in it using tweezers for an even rougher look. Just make sure to cover the skin under the holes you make with a darker color, paint in bone, or make it look like dried and crusted blood. Keep in mind that if you want to look like you've been dead for awhile, you can't have any wet or bright red blood because that's too fresh. Have fun!!!
Omg. My little cousins and I just watched Zombies on Disney Plus recently, and then my aunt was like “What if there was a zombie mermaid movie”? And so I pitched this silly idea where it would be a site where fishermen dump their chum, and boats drop their waste and stuff, and its this “dead zone” in the water. But all the chemicals interact with the dead fish parts, and bring them back to life as this amalgamate zombie mermaid that attacks people who dump there. I would absolutely want it to be a cheezy ass B-Horror movie lol. Anyway It was surreal seeing that you’re making a Zombie Mermaid as I didn’t think anyone had played with the concept before, and I can’t wait to see how she turns out!
So amazingly beautiful. Only Poppen can make a zombie look like the most beautiful creature you have ever seen. Blew me away with the talent and attention to detail.
My girlfriend and I watch your videos every week, we love them! This spooky zombie mermaid looks awesome. Have you considered making Rose Quartz from Steven Universe? It would be totally amazing! ❤
Shockingly beautiful face! I love her crown, too! Happy to see more mermaids, maybe folkloric ones, like a bunyip mermaid! Also I hope you do a Baba Yaga doll someday!
Love the face paint it's very delicate and the hair is very pretty from head to waist....although the tail I'm not feeling it, it just looks overly bulky and clumpy even after the decorations 🤷🏻♀️
This one is so cool. the detail of the exposed bones especially neat. Since Mermaids were originally monsters this works even better. Would have loved to see what you would have done with this in spooky month.
Poppen, have you ever think about doing an Emily doll from Corpse Bride?? I don't know why this one gives me vibes from her, this is one of my favourites for sure. Coraline's other mother could be another one interesting to see.
Every single transformation you start working and explaining and my mind can't imagine the end result. And every time I'm so amazed and surprised at what you were able to imagine. You're such a creative artist and an inspiration! Thank you for all the wonderful works of art you share with us!! 🤗❤
I always love your work, but this is officially one of my top 5 of all time makeovers on your channel! I love the detail in the tail, and that hole in her side was just awesome!
Love her! The face is beautiful, that green eye makeup really made the look for me! I love how ambitious your projects are, and they always turn out amazing, this creepy-cool mermaid was no exception!
A hole with ribs showing is so cool with the right amount of creepy! Rooted hair is my favorite; I could watch you root all day. LOL! Beautiful Zombie, you are my favorite doll artist. xoxo's Sandie
Your creativity knows no bounds! When I first read the title, I said "that would be so cool with fish bones" and of course you obliged ☺️ Looking at the doll with the hair tape as you were painting her face, it made me want to see you do Nefertiti.
Laguna is one of my favorite MH dolls. You turned her into such a scary but still beautiful mermaid. I really love watching your repaint videos. Mermaids are my favorite mystical creatures and you made her look as if she came right from a siren song story.
I absolutely love the details u go into when creating these dolls. And that hair colour... 😍 I'd love if you can create steampunk style doll in the vein of the Marlene Dietrich doll but maybe in sephia colours. You are absolutely amazing and I look forward to your creations every week. Keep up the great work. 😊
She is gorgeous and ghostly. Nice construction with the makeover. I seldom see you erase or paint over, if you do a color sample or color chart it would be interesting to see it before you begin so we get a preview. Thanks for sharing so much of yourself. 💜

I was honestly hoping she'd use a couple pieces from the skeleton doll(forgot the name lol). She turned out great regardless
I second this idea, it would be super fascinating to see her use all the parts of others to make like a franken-monster doll and make her so beautiful
Omg so cool
This would be great! Or maybe a "Circus Freaks" theme, three legged woman or conjoined twins. There are some famous performers from the past she could look at for inspiration.

Does anyone else love it when Poppen applies an acetone cotton wipe to the dolls face and the whole face comes off? So satisfying!
The year round spooky has been excellent! Always fun, no matter the month.
Omg that’s literally a mermaid version of Emily from Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride 💔
Love it, she’s deadly gorgeous ✨
She's just blue with exposed bones, but she doesn't look like Emily.
I think this is my absolute favorite! The bones, the iridescence... Initially I was second guessing some of the artistic choices, UNTIL THE END, perfection.
Wow she turned out fabulous!! You really hit the nail on the head balancing creepy and beautiful and stylizing her! Love the color combo!!
obsessed. i think if the starfish looked like they were decaying too would have really amplified it.
Among so many compliments for you may I say you demonstrate incredible patience for painstaking details!
Is it a bad thing that your voice is so soothing that I started to fall asleep? I love your work and think she's beautiful!!
She looks so so cool! It’s like you can see she was so pretty at one time and then she became a (pretty) zombie!
So gorgeous! Your faces are always so emotional! Loving all the textures you used to make her!
I love when you do the spooky mermaids/ sirens! 🧜♀️
I love how I noticed this doll kinda looks like Amanda Seyfried but only gothic. Absolutely Beautiful 🥰
I absolutely love all of your projects however mermaids are very much one of my favorites and this color scheme particularly is absolutely my favorite you are so talented! One of the very few RUclipsrs I can actually re-watch your videos many times and not get bored.
When you started shading her face I wondered...have you done an Avatar doll? A Neytiri doll would be beautiful!!!
I love this idea! Avatar doll would be awesome!💙
Omg I've been wating for an avatar inspired doll repaint
So much yes! I would love to see that!
Please, god, no. Avatar is so anti-indigenous, it hurts.
@@mlkcartonangel How is Avatar anti-indigenous?
This is one of my favorite dolls you've made!! I love her. Especially the ribs and tail bones showing
Does anyone else count down the days until Friday when Poppen releases a new video???
I do too 👍☺️
Yep! Sure do!
Yes! She's so good, I love all of her projects
Hehehe ☺️ yes I do
Fridays are my favorite because of Maryna’s creations.
This one, for me, is the definition of "trust the process". I was confused and not really liking it...until it was all put together! Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing her with us :3
You lying man
Love the concept and the end result! First I thought the chains were a bit too much (the tail was already so gorgeous) but when I saw the photos at the end I changed my mind, everything looks great!
Her face is my favorite so far, so pretty.
I absolutely love her hair color with her skin tone! Gorgeous!
The fact that you go an extra mile and actually do a hole in the doll instead of just drawing the ribs...amazing!!!
I hate in progress when you do mermaids... But when you are done i love them. Everytime. Trust the process haha
Love the idea of a dark mermaid, perhaps you could do a kind of mysterious dark deep ocean doll based off the mysterious and dark fish of the mariana trench.
She is the most beautiful zombie I have ever seen!
TBH, I wasn't so sure about all the chains on her until I saw the end result- and wow, she ended up looking fantastic, as usual of course!
I am always amazed at your ability to wipe the face with acetone and not ruin your nail polish. She's beautiful.
She covers her nail polish in a layer of acrylics, that's why the acetone doesn't remove it.
She probably uses gel polish (the kind you cure with a UV lamp) & that’s why it doesn’t come off. Gel polish won’t come off unless you soak for a while in acetone.

Mermaid dolls are superior 😌✨
Her face/hair is AMAZING! One of the prettiest you’ve ever done.
Her face has such a beautiful mermaid look. Wonderful as usual!!

You nailed that face removal!
she is beautiful!
Amazing !!!!!!! The headpeace made of shell was the cherry on the cake ! Love it

Love the color combination of her hair and skin! Such a pretty zombie!
Gorgeous mermaid. She is so pretty, even for a zombie
The crown is so beautiful. She is beautiful. 🥰
That tail turned out fantastic!
Beautiful! Who knew zombies could be elegant too? 😍
Hey, you should make a (Tim Burton’s)Corpse Bride Doll! You did so wonderful with making a decaying mermaid- you’d be perfect for this!
She is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your hard work.
Zombie mermaid turned out so pretty! Spooky but very beautiful. Great job!
So amazingly beautiful. Only Poppen can make a zombie look like the most beautiful creature you have ever seen. Blew me away with the talent and attention to detail.
I really like when you go for some darker themes once in a while, love the mermaid! ❤️
My girlfriend and I watch your videos every week, we love them! This spooky zombie mermaid looks awesome. Have you considered making Rose Quartz from Steven Universe? It would be totally amazing! ❤
This is my favorite doll. Gorgeous!
She is so pretty and dark. I love watching you create 💕
I really loved this doll! I can't even pick a favourite part, it's all perfect.
She’s stunning.Rather unusual theme but I love her 🥰
dang, she's amazing!! i love the bones!! and the chains!! and the shell crown. all of that really makes a special doll even more special.
Shockingly beautiful face! I love her crown, too! Happy to see more mermaids, maybe folkloric ones, like a bunyip mermaid! Also I hope you do a Baba Yaga doll someday!
Maybe your most beautiful face to date! Her eyes are mesmerising, and the colour reminds me of the most beautiful ocean eyes, Billie Eilish!
very pretty
I love her. I'd love to see more spooky mermaids.

The eyes are amasing, you get such depth.
