I have been driving Unimogs on and off road for the last 10 years in the US and you learn real quick that if your going to push a Unimog even a little bit in the offroad area YOU are going to be responsible for getting yourself out of what ever you get into because nobody else has anything that can come close to keeping up with you! I was running logging roads with a group of my friends who are all running US Military vehicles, we just got off a particular road and they were all talking about how close they were to not making it and most were down into low range on their transfer cases etc. I just kept quiet until somebody asked me what I thought of the trail, I was in 3 rd gear HI-Range 2 wheel drive!
I feel you Bro! I sense this when people in their Beefed Up Wranglers and other Do-Dats pass me by, (in my unassuming ‘87g-no winch, no sheen, no glitter) on a highway or at a station. Call it curiosity but I think that deep down they know and although they won’t admit it, they respect or fear the GKlasse! The Best or Nothing!
@@berniereyes1956 Bernie I love both the looks and performance of the G Wagon and like the UNIMOG everyone looks at it and then makes some extremely ignorant comment about how their Chevy pickup can do twice as much off road as the Mog can for 1/4 the price I am sure you deal with the same thing with your G Wagon! I for one know what your vehicle is capable of and it's pure impressive Bernie!!
Man,the g class can climb very large gradients and big rocks and soft ground,it is a light weight unimog as a guy mentioned it,this truck is just awesome,better than heavy ford bronco,Chevy blazzers ,jeeps and hummer

I have fallen in love with these.
I always had an older 70’s 80’s Jeep CJ and did well but these are so impressive.
Unfortunately Mercedes discontinued the G professional.. So I hope to own of these soon
