Thanks for the informative information I have been bacteria Sinusitis for over 10 days it's actually started with a ear infection that then effect my nose and throat. It's one of most annoying infections I ever had. And headaches and green mucus is thicker in non stop!
Have you had a culture done on it?? Mine is haemophilus enfluenzae and antibiotic resistant. Beta lactamase positive bio type 3. It is some nasty stuff. I've seen so many doctors and ENT x 3. They are full of themselves. I wish I had a guy like Dr. Fisher.

I have a reoccurring sinus problem that clears up with Antibiotics but a few days after the course is over it comes back, My symptoms are fever like temp and shivers, a foul smelly thick discharge from my right nostril, gum pain (right side) cheek bone swelling (right side) can anyone help as my docs are useless
Michal Matuska I will check this out, the gum pain literally is the least painful and less prominent of all my symptoms, it also only lasts a day or 2 but the rest are there continually until I take antibiotics again 😩

This has been plaguing me for 10 years. Any alcohol causes sinus to close. Now have polyps. Cant smell for years. When i knap it opens and i get thick clear drainage. Ramdomly 1 or both sides close. I can only breath out when laying down. My left lower eyelid stays puffy all the time. Had mri and exploratory. Result was a lot of swelling throughout entire facial sinus. Was told surgery would not fix and issue would come back. Tried all products. No effect. No solution. Paid thousands for diag with no fix. Pointless fiamancial hit. Was told. Get used to it. Excercise opens a bit bit comes right back. Idk what can be done....waiting for science to assist.
I hope u r doing well , I'm at the initial stages and it might develop into something similar to urs but I can't help myself even after knowing it all coz I'm a teen and my parents take my headache and sinus infection as a mere excuse to avoid work or a slight cold/headache ... Have you heard people talk about - Panevi Vonillian Builder - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.

if it goes fine once you start with antibiotics, it is bacteria. And I bet its spreading from a tooth into the sinus cavity

My sinus keeps discarding thick mucus. Really can’t get to the bottom of it. doctor said I was fine but it’s really bothering me.
