I've always liked this song, and trucker songs in general. Great share here. Without truckers, we'd all shut down. Hat's off to to all the truckers out there. I appreciate you ~ BCK
Love this song, and love Ronnie Milsap. My dad has been driving trucks for 40 years now. He wasn't around much when I was growing up due to being on the road Monday through Friday. We got a lot closer once he stopped doing cross country stuff and now just drives in a four or five state area. Driving trucks for a living makes it hard on family life and relationships.
i was born into a trucking family i lost my old school trucking father last year to heart and kidney failure am still driving in his memory and feel his ppspirit riding with me when im trucking and miss him alot.love this song its truth straight to the point.
I dove dump truck since yesterday 😂 it’s a 71 international 5 speed with air breaks me and my step dad been workin on it I been really excited about it I’m only 13 been wanting to drive since I was super little and wasn’t raised to like em I just did
I'm not a trucker, but when I drive on long roads, I feel just like in the song's lyrics. All my respects for a woman like Lisa, she seems to be like a flower it a very harsh environment, where only men can make a stand. May she, and her fellow truckers, be safe out there on the road.

I'm not a trucker, but have had relatives that were truckers. I for one appreciate the hard work you Truck Drivers do out there on the road, driving up and down the highways and Interstates and freeways of America, It's a really hard job. I appreciate the stuff I have and can buy b/c of all of you. Unfortunately there are some dumbasses on here commenting just to get attention...again thanks to all of you and Drive with care out there...God Bless!!!
Great song, i have down loaded into the built music system in my custom Kenwortth TW900. one of my favorite songs to listen to while I'm driving. :) Thx for the song fellow trucker. :) I've been trucking for just over 34 years. :) Best job I've ever had. :)

+brenda wilson Yes Brenda, a lot has changed since the 70's. Now you have government up your butt, any continually trying to regulate your every move by people who have never been in a truck. But that is life.

Thanks, I love largecars and sorry about the wreck, but glad to hear you're still here! I lost my brother in a Kenworth in 1992 at the 132 MM heading EB on I-70 in OH. I still hate driving past there even after driving myself since 1998, but I always give a little toot on the air horn as I go by.
My daddy has been a trucker since before i was born. I used to be so worried about him in the winter and bad weather. I used to thank god that he was home. I tip my hat to all you truckers out there. Keep the greasy side down and the shiny side up. May God Bless you all.
great song, really tells a truckers heart,I'm a driver and love every minute of it,I may complain some about it but still I couldn't give my hand to do anything else.it's a hard life to live and a lot of work with little to show but to me there's nothing I would love doing near as much.
Love the video...music's perfect...been out of the truck since June '11...miss driving more than words can say...got that diesel fuel runnin' in my veins.
