Thank you! The last step really helped me out. I just did a ram upgrade and was worried about it not booting up. But after watching the entire video, I just had to be patient and wait foe it to boot up. Thank you for making this video!
Thank you! I have the same chasis model but the one with i7 and 16 ram, just updated to 32gb ram thanks to you, looks like my model 32gb is the top ram it can manage
Power limits are necessary in laptops bc things melt. If it tops out at 32 go for 32, not saying it’s impossible to work but it’s safer to stick within the guidelines on this one. Let me know how it worked or is workin out for ya
Title says ddr 5 but you inserted ddr 4. Im assuming you can add either ddr 4 or 5 to these? Actually now that i watched again..you say ddr4 but label appears to be ddr5
Good morning, I have an Acer Helios 300 with similar specifications as shown in the video. I'm thinking of upgrading the RAM to 64Gb using Crucial DDR5-4800 RAM. According to my research, Crucial sells an individual 32Gb stick (Crucial 32GB DDR5-4800 SODIMM (ref: CT32G48C40S5)) and also sells a 64Gb kit (Crucial 64GB Kit (2 x 32GB) DDR5-4800 SODIMM (ref: CT2K32G48C40S5). My question is if there is any performance/compatibility difference in using the 64Gb kit, compared to using two 32Gb sticks purchased separately? I'm asking this question because in my country I can get a better price buying two separate 32Gb sticks (ref: CT32G48C40S5) still getting the 64Gb, than buying the 64Gb kit (ref:CT2K32G48C40S5). The 64Gb kit is €30 more expensive than buy 2 sticks of 32Gb separately. I hope you can clarify the issue for me. Thanks
Hope you didn’t buy yet but two in this case is better than one. And you should check if there is a limit to the size of ram you can put it. As most Helios top out at 32 and while the hardware, if it was in a desktop it could most likely handle it. BUT laptops are not desktops. That being said let me know if it works out for you.

Is there any difference if I install the new RAM in slot 1 or 2?? Because mine came with 8bg x2 so i bought a 32gb. Where should I install it?
If you want to get better performance you need to use both slots 2x16, not 1x32
Hello, thanks for the video . May I ask what bus is it running while upgraded to max ? Is it 4800 mhz ?

ihave encountered my fans getting a lil loud, any idea how to fix?
iam using omen 16-k0000. company says it will support only ddr5 32 gb (16*2) of ram. will it support ddr5
