I genuinly think Silco loves Jinx. Look at his desk he has so many things she made for him there, like a parent. He seems like hes scared of losing Jinx, his daughter, to VI. He doesnt want her to become powder because it would be like her dying.
In the memorial Powder was in the centre, I think that was Ekko's painting (maybe he painted her first). At the end of the fight he sees Powder in her eyes (maybe it was even her, and the bomb was for her to end it all). Ekko wasn't capable of killing her, even after she killed his friend (the one who looked like Vi was even painted, probably the last casualty).
Seemed 2 me that he stopped bcuz of childhood memories n not the whole jinx is his crush thing.. in the card game the way he talked 2 jinx.. home boy in luv
The "firelight" bombs were made by Jinx, that's why we see one of it in her place. The Jinx and Ekko fight as you noticed was a throwback to a game they played as kids. It goes even deeper that Ekko remembers how it plays and wins the fight, but its even deeper that Jinx shot the same first 3 shots as a kid, but the last one she did not (the one that hit little ekko) I like to think that Jinx does this because of the memories of Powder she has with ekko (they were really good friends, and Ekko had a crush on her) The grenade was for herself, that very subtle but genuine smile she gave Ekko was for their memories before she takes her life, that's just what I think though. Also, when Ekko brought out the stopwatch, Jinx immediately knew what it was. She even giggles fondly, and even changed her stance. Not to mention this is a such a heavy foreshadowing of what Ekko can do in the future.
Yeah we realized she made the bombs and also that they were playing the childhood game. Thank you for the background on the game we understand it a lot more now 🤗🥰🤗
There are natural firelights too. The bomb versions were simply made by Jinx. She also did shoot 3 shot, Ekko dodged 2 but got hit by the 3rd as kids, in this Ekko dodged all 3, he dodged 2 at the same time when he jumped
No it wasn’t a flashback or something, it just changed the look of ekko, but it did actually happen there. Ekko lost and got shot, but this clock he has gives him the ability to time travel to the padt a few seconds ago to not get shot. That’s literally what makes him special as a league of legends champion, he time travels with his clock, and as a league of legends fan I was so hyped when he pulled out his clock
When Jinx walked across the bridge, after the firelight bombs went off, she was humming the same song she sang as a child in the very first episode - when Vi guides her across that same bridge in the scene where they find out their parents died.

When Jinx fires on Cait and Vi, if you slow it down you can see Cait tries to cover Vi and take the bullets but Vi pushes her away like nah nah no one else dying for me. The clock thing with Ekko and Jinx is him suggesting they play the game they used to as kids (he was the boy savior) and her giggling and taking stance was her accepting to play it, the colorful scene was a reenactment of the game and showing how Powder won but when the stopwatch starts for real, Ekko learned from his mistakes and Jinx made all the same moves she did as kids, so he beat her. Also since you've already finished the show I can safely not spoil anything by saying just before Jinx's bomb goes off you hear a clink so we assume Ekko knocked the bomb away from her and that's why she survived, he couldve just ran, but he chose to save her. Also don't know if you saw, but Marcus had his full arm blown off, I guess that's what you get for aiming a gun at Cupcake.
Funnily enough in the video game, the fight would probably go something like that. Jinx is considered a marksman, they deal out tons of damage from a distance. Jinx is particularly good at destroying entire teams when she's ahead and have proper protection. She's actually known as a "hyper-carry". Someone when fed (get enough kills/gold) can decimate enemy teams and help win the game easily. The trade off being that marksmans are incredibly vulnerable and easy to kill up close. If an Ekko player, who's a melee mage, were to ever get close enough to a Jinx player or any other marksman for that matter, he'd destroy them. Caitlyn is also a marksman and can carry but she's not a hyper carry. Caitlyn tends to be good early game, as she's the most ranged marksman, so she's the safest marksman to play, but not one who pumps out the most damage. Vi is pure melee fighter in the game. Meaning you can "kite" her, basically outmanuever and pace her from a safe distance, but if she gets close enough to you she will also wreck your shit.
FYI they were kids again because when they were kids they were very close, being the same age and stuff they use to play games with each other and i'm assuming one of the games they played involved the little watch and thats why Ekko and Jinx were laughing in a playful way and stuff I mean it probably bought back memories but even though it was fun and harmless as kids now they were actually out for each others throats

Hey, thanks for the great reaction again! Just a couple of quick thoughts... after Jinx blows up her firelight bombs, she hums the same song she was singing in the intro to episode I. Everything from there to the end of her fight with Ekko hits me pretty hard, for all the reasons your commenters have been saying. I also really appreciate Viktor's perspective in this series. He knows how badly the topside treats the undercity, and he's so passionate about using his genius to improve lives. And I think he's also very aware that if weapons are made for people in a place of privilege and power, it's only a matter of time before they're misused to continue the cycle of oppression. Jayce is stressed, yes, but his slip up to categorize the whole undercity as dangerous is telling of the general attitude of topsiders. Love the character writing in this show. Anyway, really looking forward to the rest of your videos!
Thank you 🥰❤️ Yes we can see how Piltover would think the undercity is so dangerous but they made them that way. They pushed them to have to fight for their independence. It’s obvious piltover wants things to stay the same, they refuse to compromise so it seems the war is inevitable. We also think the story is so beautiful and we appreciate all the characters and their roles in this. Magnificent ❤️
Others have already said, but yeah, Jinx modified a bunch of the little artificial firelight bugs/toys. We saw that Piltover had lots of them flying around on Progress Day; apparently some other clever inventor figured out how to make them/power them, either with chemtech or some diffuse cousin of HexTech, and they were part of the general beauty of the upper city. Jinx has several of them lying around in her hideout/lab, unpowered, and you see them here and there more than once (she was actually working on one when Silco comes to see her and she's rocking out to her theme song); apparently she found a way to load a swarm of them up with tiny bomb charges and at least generally direct them to a designated spot and make them go BOOM on command--probably not too deadly if just one goes off next to you, but pretty lethal if you take ten or twenty hits at once. (The first one to blow even had her trademark Monkey Tag on the wings).
Spoiler!!! ⚠️ The clock with Ekko is one of his abilities in game. He can go back in time- like a few seconds. Edit: Thank you for the reactions to! Have a nice day/night Also I didn't think before posting that revealing his in-game abilities would be spoilers so, I am sorry that it is and I'll try to put a warning.
@@eyesnapples6167 yes, you're right but he can still track their routine ever since they we're young that's why it's kinda foreshadowing of his ability
@@blacksmith8594 Nah, it was just a stylistic choice although I understand why people think that. The clock for now just seems to be a clock. His z drive seemingly has hextech power within it which gives him the ability to reverse time. He’ll likely have it next season after working with Heimerdinger.
14:28 its an option, making weapons opens up a choice to start war, i know having a war in this series might be a great plot but logically WAR should be their very last option.
Yes but Zaun is already in the process of making their weapon so how would piltover not making weapons help? I hope it can be settled without a war but Silco doesn’t seem to want to stop and Piltover doesn’t seem to want to compromise.
@@JynxRyl It's a classic prisoners dilemma problem. If there is a sitution with 2 adversaries, if one of them make weapons, even to defend themselves, it creates incentive for the other to make weapons as well leading to an arms race. You can also draw a parallell between hextech and nuclear energy. Once the weapons are created, its impossible take it technological knowhow back, and if the weapons exist, it will sooner to later be a situation where you have enough incentive to use them.
@@JynxRyl There are ways out of the prisoners dilemma, but it requires trust and cooperation, both which are in short supply for both sides at the moment. Edit: So yes, the likely outcome at the moment seems to be developing weapons, resulting in civil war.
The power that Hextech provides (as shown very well in episode 3) would change warfare in this world forever. Victor mentioned in episode 6 that he was worried about his legacy after his death, and I don't think he wants his legacy to be inventing a newer, deadlier warfare
I think the hexcore is similar to whatever caused the mage war that tore the world apart a couple of centuries ago. Ekko is definitely not going to die. He's one of the playable champions in the game. Playable champions in the game: Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Jinx, Singed (the guy who created Shimmer), [spoiler], Ekko, [spoiler].
She called "Vi" Liar bcz Vi calls Caitlyn as she was running to Ekko and Caitlyn. Mylos keep bothering her and she thinks that her sister leave her for the Enforcer. She had matured physically but not mentally, her mind is still at the age before killing Vander and others accidentally bcz she keep trying to forget about that event but can't. Also she have deep hatred from Enforcers just like when Vi was young so it all combined and she snap. Edit - also she can literally shoot Ekko in last seconds given how fast she is but she hesitated and that did her.
I think he and Vander used to live in bthe mines of the Undercity so he's more accustomed to the toxic air, Vander has a pair of minning gloves hinting this too.
The scene is more tragic since in the game it's stated that Ekko always had a crush on Jinx when they were younger From another commenter "Ekko was ready to kill Jinx, but not Powder"
In the game, Ekko can reverse time and has some abilities arround it, so that flashback childhood game scene was a sort of a reference to his future power
Im playing league of legends with my older brother since 2016 my brother favourite characters is ekko and Caitlin mine is old man heim and ekko mid laner hextech is actually an item on LOL.
it's not that simple. Some of their music involves artists they partner with and some of those might not be free to use. Seems like some of their music is free to use but you have to give credit and such. Best to look it up yourselves.
Silco is not affected by that oxygen poison because he's had a shimmer, you know when Jinx injects it in his eye everytime so I guess he's immune to that too
I think he's just got some powerful adaptive lungs + toxins when he drowned, you can see he also needed to inhale om the mask a bit, makes you think he's really a badass didnt even show discomfort while delivering a threatening speech.
@@yuushouma1263 the impression i got was that he grew up in place with the toxins and he is just more resistant to it because of the constant exposure, it also tracks with his line about how all of the bosses forgot how it use to be and how they have grown weak.

Ngl, i wanted ekko to kill jinx or them die together this episode. They're the youngest and i found put that ekko had a crush on her. The way they see each other before the bomb is heartbreaking. It's that moment jinx accepted death and ekko knows powder is still there hanging but he missed the chance to end it.
@@jorgealberto8544 powder would have an okay death wd someone she grow up wd esp the one closest to her age which is ekko and now that powder is gone and we have jinx.. You thought powder dropping the bomb beside her is just to scare ekko?? Lmao read between the lines i would have ended it too. She's suffering and just want it to end
The situation is a bit more complicated than simply building up arms. While as the viewers we know Silco isn't going to accept it, they should try and negotiate with the under city. If Jayce can figure out how to increase their food production they could open soup kitchens to feed the poor. People are willing to put up with a lot if you feed them. The best way to do it would be to make it seem like they are trading food for the crystal, though the food would have to come over time and I don't think Silco would trust it. Regardless they should make an effort to feed the people of Zaun.
U guys are kind of missing the point with Zaun being hostile towards Piltover. Zaun is hostile because Piltover treats them like shit. The two choices Piltover has is either fighting with Zaun or finally showing it compassion.
But Silco doesn’t seem to want compassion. I don’t think Piltover should fight I think they should be prepared to fight I mean they are planning to make a weapon with that gemstone.
@@JynxRyl silco wants idependence he doesn't care what happens to piltover but he is ready to do anything to get it. He wouldn't want independence if piltover didn't treat zaunites like they're subhuman and cared about Zaun

@@rocksolid4597 To be fair he would do it if they didn't treat Zaunites bad, he just wouldn't have the animosity to build power on. I dont know why, but listen to anry caitlyn is somehow even cuter, i would love to make her angry just to listen to that voice, so wrong i know but still ...
jinx has a lot of trauma and is going crazy. like how she still talks with her dead friends. And she was abandoned by her sister in her pov. then suddenly vi comes back with and agent for the stone. in her eyes she is being betrayed again. and silco is a good dad. he cares about her even if he lies about stuff or something. he was betrayed by his brother just like jinx was "betrayed" by her sister. So he isnt using her, he has full trust on her. He knows how smart she is and is supporting her completely with what she does. We all can say that vender was vi best dad and silco is jinx best dad too. At this point i think jinx is pretty done with her life. she didn't shoot at ekko when she could and she didn't even try to run away from her bomb, or put it in the back of ekko so he would shield her side a little.
Honestly, on some level, Jinx is who powder has always been. Right after she contributed to the death of her entire family, she Chose to work for the very person who kidnapped and hurt them. She's always been selfish and spoiled, because Vi goes out of her way to make sure she doesn't feel the loss of their parents and often overcompensates. Jinx isn't someone powder became; Jinx was always in her; Jinx represents our worst character traits and weaknesses. When we decide to lean into them, we become Jinx, destroying ourselves and everything and everyone around us.
Stop hating on Silco...He has never lied to Jinx and he does love her like a daughter... When Jinx jump on lap and was poking him with the eye thing he could have pushed her off but he did. He just took it cause he would never hurt her. Silco is and excellent villain, he hasn't lied yet in the series and tries to be a good dad to Jinx.
It’s understandable that Silco is speaking from his perspective so it’s not necessarily a lie. We know that he loves Jinx and cares a lot for her. And ofc he’s an excellent villain which is why those emotions would be evoked. We’d be lying if we said we hate Silco. We appreciate all the characters and the roles they play in this story ❤️
What that bothers me a lot is the way how Powder won't accept that her sister is with Caith, she doesn't le Vi explain anything, she just get to the point that shoots Vi. While on the other hand we have Ekko: even if he's not Vi blood brother it is in fact her little brother, and he talks with Vi and about Caitlyn he just say "Vi says she trust you." so he can trust Cait too, because she trust his big sis: problem solved with talikng and undestanding. It is always Powder that don' want to trust Vi, she even return to SIlco after kwowing the he lied to her all this years. Ok he thought she was dead, but it's clear the if she knew her still alive he would have killed her without telling anything to Powder, no doubt.
she doesn’t want an explanation. caitlyn is an enforcer. they killed their parents. younger vi would have never trusted an enforcer let alone care about one more than jinx. that is what she means by “you changed too” in the final episode. and silco knows/thinks that vi will only bring pain to jinx, which he’s right about. they both believed that vi betrayed her for the longest time.
We haven’t played the game before and we do not know the lore. Based on what we’ve seen of Powder and Ekko’s relationship in the previous episodes we had no way of knowing they had such a close connection.
Who created the bombs? The problem is you guys are more looking at each other than watching the show and you're missing a lot of things, Jinx created the bombs just see the first few episodes.

The clock with Ekko is one of his abilities in game. He can go back in time- like a few seconds.
Edit: Thank you for the reactions to! Have a nice day/night
Also I didn't think before posting that revealing his in-game abilities would be spoilers so, I am sorry that it is and I'll try to put a warning.
it is but he doesn't have that power in Arcane yet
Mmm not that clock specifically. That’s his Z drive and he hasn’t invented it by this point in time.
@@eyesnapples6167 yes, you're right but he can still track their routine ever since they we're young that's why it's kinda foreshadowing of his ability
@@astrea4020 maybe he can slow time now and reverse it later when he has the z drive? because it seemed that he was faster than bullets.
@@mikaelgauslaa5547 wow Piltover just wants it to remain the same or they go to war basically… that’s so sad 🥺
That Ekko scene got me so hype for the Z-Drive. I wonder if he and Heimer create the Z-Drive in Season 2 together. That would be sick.
Don't worry, riot already released arcane season 2 announcement teaser
❤️🔥🔥
So many reacted the same way you two did on that sudden ending 🤣
😂😂 lol
funfact: ekko had a line in the game "i had a crush until you started talking to the gun"
Imao. "Ekko is gonna die". Ekko one shots her even without powers from the game.
Truuuue
Ekko is the coolest champ in league no cap
We’ve never played the game and know nothing about the characters’ fighting abilities 😄
Glad to hear that 😅
He used his dash and his ult.
I'm enjoying y'all reactions. Just try to avoid spoilers
Thank you 🥰❤️
on game ekko's interaction to jink : I had a crush… until you started talking to the gun
I think he and Vander used to live in bthe mines of the Undercity so he's more accustomed to the toxic air, Vander has a pair of minning gloves hinting this too.
yessss I've been waiting finally!!
❤️🔥🔥😘
The scene is more tragic since in the game it's stated that Ekko always had a crush on Jinx when they were younger
From another commenter "Ekko was ready to kill Jinx, but not Powder"
In the game, Ekko can reverse time and has some abilities arround it, so that flashback childhood game scene was a sort of a reference to his future power
Nice 😊
what a legendary episode
Indeed
Ekko had a crush on Jinx until she stated talking to the gun.
He is not gonna die ,Ekko is champion of league of legends. He is gonna be something.
Cool
way to spoil the tension buildup for someone who hasn't played the game. let people speculate man, things don't need to be answered immediately.
Ekko was fully willing to kill Jinx, but not Powder.....
6 years more and the season 2 is coming
Im playing league of legends with my older brother since 2016 my brother favourite characters is ekko and Caitlin mine is old man heim and ekko mid laner hextech is actually an item on LOL.
Wow ❤️🔥
I was waiting for this
🥰❤️
Silco thinks hes telling Jinx the truth
Yeah we thought that through
Riot musics are free to use, don't worry.
Wow thank you ❤️ we’ll take that into consideration next time ☺️
it's not that simple. Some of their music involves artists they partner with and some of those might not be free to use. Seems like some of their music is free to use but you have to give credit and such. Best to look it up yourselves.
He was ready to kill Jinx, he wasn’t ready to kill Powder :(
U guys have best true reactions.
Thank you ❤️🥰
Silco is not affected by that oxygen poison because he's had a shimmer, you know when Jinx injects it in his eye everytime so I guess he's immune to that too
I think he's just got some powerful adaptive lungs + toxins when he drowned, you can see he also needed to inhale om the mask a bit, makes you think he's really a badass didnt even show discomfort while delivering a threatening speech.
Yeah makes sense
@@yuushouma1263 oh yeah and also that too so I guess it make sense
@@yuushouma1263 the impression i got was that he grew up in place with the toxins and he is just more resistant to it because of the constant exposure, it also tracks with his line about how all of the bosses forgot how it use to be and how they have grown weak.
Actually one of the writers wanted to change the Caitlyn X Vi theme because you know Riot Games but the writer really fought for it and now we have this, we just need it to be cannon so we can all celebrate
I always know that violet is androgynous girl
vi build fighter or tank on league of legends. This is just the beginning there alot storyline to make runeterra is big.
Wtf? Everything ok at home?
15:04 I missed that boat the first time I watched this.
He’s not dead btw 😂because his body isn’t here and yes there is a season 2
React to " Enemy " music video by Imagine Dragons now that you're done with episode 7. Great visual backstory for ekko and jinx.
@@rocksolid4597 I see so what I’m understanding is that Piltover basically wants things to remain the same or they go to war since they don’t want to compromise. That is sad 🥺
@@JynxRyl Yep
@@rocksolid4597
To be fair he would do it if they didn't treat Zaunites bad, he just wouldn't have the animosity to build power on.
Silco wants independence for his own gain, because he's done little to make live better in the Fissure, mainly made it worse (Shimmer addiction, aggressive mob enforcement).
Love me some Ekko 💙
vietnamese fan
Hii 😊🥰
Ekko omg 😲
I dont know why, but listen to anry caitlyn is somehow even cuter, i would love to make her angry just to listen to that voice, so wrong i know but still ...
😆 we totally get you 😅 we live for the little arguments she and vi has ❤️🥰
Ekko is not on his prime yet...
#Vicait
🔥🔥
23:43 they were both near the bomb in fact Jinx was probably closer, idk how yall assume that only of them “died” lol
I just don’t think they’d eliminate jinx like that. And they seem to want to break our hearts so that’s why we’re assuming Ekko is dead.
@@JynxRyl i understand that, at the same time it was a lot and i was very confused when i first watched it, can’t wait to see your future reactions:>
@@nyxlle thank you ❤️🥰
jinx has a lot of trauma and is going crazy. like how she still talks with her dead friends.
❤️🔥
Hey, have you seen the new Amphibia episodes yet?
ofcourse it was jinx who created the bomb
Yeah 😆
If anyone qualifies to speak on Jinx besides Vi it's Ekko
We haven’t played the game before and we do not know the lore. Based on what we’ve seen of Powder and Ekko’s relationship in the previous episodes we had no way of knowing they had such a close connection.
Who created the bombs? The problem is you guys are more looking at each other than watching the show and you're missing a lot of things, Jinx created the bombs just see the first few episodes.
why do people think she made it while Ekko is dead? they both were too close to grenade)
I guess because we don’t think they’ll get rid of jinx as yet and they would want to kill ekko to break our hearts. That’s why we think that at least.
I’m sorry I have been trying to give jinx the benefit of the doubt cause Vi is here, but she is crazy and needs to go down.
Try playing the game sometimes tho
🔥🔥
i feel like u ladies don't know what manipulation looks like cause Mel is manipulating Jayce sooo bad by using his feelings for her and she is just using him so do everything she wants. ugh its so frustrating cause i actually like them together.
We’ve been saying Mel is manipulating Jayce from the get go. Maybe you haven’t seen all our videos but we have said it multiple times that Mel is manipulating Jayce. We still like them together though and wish it were different circumstances ❤️
@@JynxRyl ahh ok good I'm glad u guys caught on
