I agree with 90% 0f your comments. I recently purchased the M1. The Display brightness started off fine. As time went on it began to fade. By the 10th hole it had disappeared. I sent it back for repair under warranty. When I it was returned the display time was better, but by the end of the round the display was barely visible.

I had the M1 like yours for 3 years, it was great and would did 36 holes when I forgot to charge it up on the 18 hole battery. I recently changed it to the DHC as I have joined a course with some severe downhill walks and it has been a godsend. Previously I had to hold onto the trolley and use a lot of effort to stop it running away, now I can let it go down on its own without even touching it.

Thanks for this review. I've had the M7 remote for the last year or so and dont love it, I just dont use the remote as much as I thought I would and am going back to a basic model. Before the remote one I had an M3 Pro for 5 seasons.

Just bought a M1 DHC. Delighted with it. I didn’t think that trolley size was an issue for me, but when I saw the size of the fx3 then this was the winner. Great trolley for the money. I don’t think the battery will be an issue and it means I can keep the battery in the trolley during the recharge. Thanks your video helped the decision process 👍

Well explained, especially the reversal of the wheels to reduce the profile when packing into the car.

Had my Dhc version for 18 months now, I've used it in all weathers, even in -10 winter winds (with heated mitts on of course) and it's perfomed perfectly. I get 2 rounds out of 18 hole battery on an extremely hilly welsh mountain course. And the park brake is fantastic. My only gripe is the axles can rust and the wheels can lock onto them if you forget to wipe dry/ wd40 after using it in the rain. Other than that its been great 👍

Top job, Paul. I've a few of mates at the club who have had issues with their Motocaddys. Hearing that the club might not renew the dealership next year. My S5 connect has been okay except that the phone will never connect which would be no big deal if it was specifically designed to do so. Mine has certainly suffered from the misting that you talked about. I'll be switching to gokart when mine eventually gives up the ghost.

Twee has one of those Paul. We had great fun with it as it dragged Debi over when she was caddying for him...I wished we'd filmed it because it wouldve won us some money😂😂😂
The hole that dragged you at Pleasington...the 7th? Its a bear 😂
Great, honest review (as usual) Paul.
Just as an aside...Twee has identification stickers on his too. Embarrassingly, they're PXG ones...and, he's gone back to the old Callaways 😂😂😂

Had this trolley for a few years now and although it does the job, I don’t love it. The cable on mine is worn at the bend that was mentioned in your review. The stability is poor in my opinion and it doesn’t feel really well balanced on more severe slopes. Lastly, the speed control dial is rubbish. The knob is not precise and the slightest touch on it changes the speed setting.
As I said, it does the job but won’t be replacing it with the same model.

Got the M5 and a power caddy ct8 both have faults and are utter garbage, both have been returned and come back with the same faults.
My advice is but something cheap and cheerful.

No remote is a deal breaker.

AVOID MOTOCADDY!!!! The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time (most of the time noone answers). The product is a knock off of MGI which is a superior product. I regret ever doing business with this company. AVOID AVOID AVOID.....Cart tips over on hills!!! Broke a club. No holder for remote. DOES NOT STAY STRAIGHT>>>>CONSTANT ADJUSTMENT RUINS GOLF.

Constantly adjusting the speed and having to look at the display to see if it’s on or off ruins a good round of golf, soft start is a disaster..
Because of the bad design of the speed control (not designed by a golfer) it can take off down the fairway without your knowledge . I Wouldn’t recommend it.
