    So I tried the same process with my measurements and the result was perfect. Safe to say this is the proper way to achieve a milkmaid dress. The cup was perfect and I can wear without a bra if I so desire. Although I made an adjustment at the back pattern Thank you Damara for the tutorial.

      What adjustments were made on the back pattern?

      @@SewingwithDamaraI took my across back measurements for like when I want to make an off shoulder then added one inch for dart allowance(I like my off shoulder back dart getting to the top), and it laid perfectly at the back. If I don’t do it like that, it won’t sit well (For me tho)…. I don’t know if it’s the right way, but it worked for me.

      You can use any sleeve of your choice. Just make sure you have the measurement of the shoulder to where your sleeve should sbe on the dress

    I tried this but the problem I have is the cups after running the straight stitch at the upper side then left 1.25 space to run the other line
    That channel will be open for sure the problem is the rough material pops out from the open space and that's really a problem to me cause yours isn't popping out
    Pls how can I adjust that?

    • @SewingwithDamara
      @SewingwithDamara  5 месяцев назад

      After creating your channel, you can just tack whatever that is left open.
