Diluted ACV , 2 tsp in 10+ ounces of water , with straw, has done so much for appetite and craving control. Mentally I feel clarity for about 2 hours once my body begins to metabolize. Typically food and drinks make me very sleepy, but on a regular basis, this doesn't happen as often and is a nice way to get the morning started compared to that depression like fog.❤

My lying doctor told me my Heartburn was caused from too much acid, when in fact I wasn't producing enough to close the valve that stops the acid from regurgitation. After he prescribed gaviscon ant acid my Gerd got worse, I started researching medical documents and health issues then I realised that Big pharma benefit from your health issues. Dr's get taught what the medical industry want them to know and only that. Apple cider vinegar helped me in leaps and bounds not only with GERD but also weight as well. Over the last week or so I have passed a fe stones and a massive one that was stuck in my prostate area causing great discomfort. I truly think the ACV helped free the stones and helped them get out. Additionally my complexion has never looked this good. I’m 62 years old and suffer from aging skin like most of us. No more red blotches, no more dry scaly bits, just smooth skin that looks at least 10 years younger. There are definitely benefits from this stuff.

I'm so glad that I read your post just now. I'm sitting here all alone in a hotel in Houston having gone through my cancer checkup today at MD Anderson Cancer center. I had a partial nephrectomy in 2015, and all checkups have been fine. Til now. I was told today that they found a blockage in the tube leading down from my kidney. (This makes sense as I have noticed a very slow urine flow for a while.) I've been carnivore for a while now and wondering if the diet caused this. Now I'm scared....is it a stone?...is it the cancer coming back?..... They can't tell me until they do a CT scan, which I can't do as I need to fly home tomorrow.
I think I'm going to try the ACV and hope like hell that it's a stone I can pass.

My Dr. said my LDL was 149 and was considering putting me on meds. He told me to change my diet and come back in 3 months for a re-check blood test. I had heard from a friend a while ago that ACV helped her cholesterol levels and swore by it, so I thought I would give it a try. I drank about 1/3 of a small dixie cup of ACV, mixed with water twice a day for 2 months, and didn't really change my diet. I take pepcid twice a day everyday (40 mg total) because I cannot eat without getting horrible heartburn. Overnight it's so bad I wake up choking. I tried every elimination diet and clean eating approach and nothing helped except the pepcid. But I hate having to rely on it long-term, so I'm intrigued by this strategy. I'm curious though, did you do the ACV for a while and then scale back your medication, or did you quit the meds cold turkey? If you quit cold turkey, was there a transition period during which you experienced acid reflux while the ACV started to work?

An MD once told me "There's no such thing as a natural cure. Man-made medicines are the only way to fix or improve health problems -- name just one natural cure."
    I said "Honey."
He replied "Well yes, but name another one." I could say ACV, Epsom salts, etc but it wouldn't ever matter. Some people are just too dense and think too much of their degrees.

Hi Doc, if I may add my 1 cents worth of information.
After using ACV for about a week, I noticed something stuck to the side of the toilet when I went for a pee. Two days later, I thought let me just pee on a piece of toilet paper, and low and behold I found a piece of stone about 3mm in diameter.
So yes I believe it was the ACV that broke up the stones. After two weeks it was all clear.

I’ve suffered from GERD for a very long time. Probably over a decade. There was a time I took PPIs. After researching the harmful long term affects of them I stopped taking them. To get relief I was popping like 4-6 tums a day. I read an article that said my stomach probably isn’t producing enough acid. I hit RUclips and found your video and a few others. I was definitely skeptical especially since it didn’t occur to me that I wasn’t producing enough acid. Went into the kitchen and made a salad dressing with 1 Tablespoon of ACV with olive oil, fresh herbs, and organic raw honey. The dressing was delicious. It gave me immediate relief. So I put it to the test. Went a got a burrito bowl with hot sauce. I’m still feeling noticeably better and it’s only day 1. This is insane. Subscribed!

Since COVID was going on I couldnt get a referrel to gastro nor any testing because it was elective and non essential. So she sent me home with prescription strength PPIs AND... something to "calm" my intestines/stomach down. I figured ok, whatever the doc says does. Took the meds, worst thing I could have ever done. Did some research...she gave me an anti-tremor med. Can you believe that! Continued to try and take the crap convinced it was the fix but I couldnt bear thru it any longer after a few weeks. It left my stomach in knots, constipated, and in worse pain. Finally had an endoscopy, all they could say was had some inflammation and reflex ... suggested to try a lower dose PPI instead. Well, apple cider vinegar came along as I was researching, decided why not give the crazy a try. Symptoms gone. I had gone to COUNTless doctor appointments and costs over months and months. In regard to acid reflux, I literally tried it the other night! I was completely skeptical, but was having such a hard time getting the reflux under control, I thought I might as well give it a try. Within 30 minutes of taking a shot, my reflux had calmed down completely. I was incredibly amazed!

    •  2 года назад +35

Reflux is caused by LOW stomach acid. It's the high stomach acid that signals the esophageal sphincter to close. Without high stomach acid your sphincter won't close. High acid also signals the throat and surrounding tissues to produce bicarbonates which counter any acidity. That's why you don't feel the acid when you trow up. Our body is marvelous. My wife is healing her LPR (silent reflux) with betaine HCL and Apple cider vinegar. Vinegar has the added benefit of contributing important bacteria to your digestive environment

    • @jimrogers5774

Yeah it works; as you get older you produce less stomach acid that is why older people get gurd. If do suffer from belching the worse thing you can do is take antacids, which is what lot of doctors will tell you take! ACV sounds the like opposite to the solution of the problem! But as the acid in stomach is 1.1 ph (that is strong)! ACV works and only has ph of 3 to 4 so increase the volume with out weakening the acid as much, (the valume will close the gurd to the gulet) Antacids has a sodium base of 8 ph and that weakens the acid. may work for a short time but will not solve the problem.

I wish we had doctors in my area with your medical knowledge. I found you not too long ago but now I’m subscribed. Women, a few generations into my family have had type 2 diabetes, and several other health problems. Those issues caused My grandmother to die at an early age with heart problems and pancreatic cancer. It was awful. And her entire life her doctor just kept pushing more and more “medicine” which just made it worse over time. I recently noticed my sugar was a little spiked after eating a meal. (Getting ready to be 30) Im trying to break the cycle. Ive now went full keto. And I’m feeling better than ever. Now Im trying to convince my mother that she can reverse her diabetes with the proper diet. Her doctors basically tell her she’ll be taking medicine her entire life and will always have t2 diabetes. 😳🙄 Also, my my great grandma swore by avc (with the mother) she drank it everyday with a garlic clove and she was in very good health pretty much until the day she died at 96. There’s definitely a reason people in this day in time have more health problems. Bad food= heath problems.

But, I still continued to be health-conscious into my mid-70s.
ACV was one of my father's favorite condiments. He recommended it and lecithin for weight loss to his customers. We always had a gallon or two of ACV and white vinegar in our household. The white was used for cleaning and my mother's gyno health. The ACV was for salads, certain food recipes, and for pickling. I just took for granted the mother floating in the bottom of the jug and never gave it a second thought. It's good to know that it had great health benefits and I attribute my good health all these 74 years to following my parent's early health teachings and habits.

Many think reflux is too much stomach acid, so they take antacids or acid reducing medications.
Instead it's often low acid, which allows the lower esophageal sphincter to relax, and reflux occurs. Taking ACV can help keep this sphincter closed, by detection of the increased acid.
Downside is if you don't preemptively use ACV, or other acid, and try after you have heartburn, it burns like hell.

Mary’s Nest here on YT has a good video on making it. Water, apple, or apple scraps, and a bit of sugar, (not absolutely necessary but feeds the microbes) and that’s it! Very cheap or no cost at all. And remember, vinegar is a forever food! It does not go bad, so even if you have a bottle, and it’s past the expiration date, as long as it smells like vinegar it’s fantastic to use aged!!

Best bet is to rinse with water immediately afterwards and then brush your teeth 5 or 10 minutes later. Don't brush your teeth too soon after ingesting anything acidic (like AVC) as the brushing with acid still your mouth will erode tooth enamel even faster.

I've always liked vinegar, and several ACVs grace my pantry, along with other types. At home, I use it like a sipping whiskey. Just a drop on the tongue and a quick inhalation does the trick. I don't like the effect of alcohol (though I like fermented flavors), so this gives me a kick without making me tired. The variety of flavors is the kind of things that wine, whiskey and beer fans savor. When I go out, vinegar makes a good mixed drink with soda on ice. Some bitters are nice, too. Serve with lime. It's delicious and you can still drive home. (They'll probably charge you less than they would for a regular drink -- IF THEY KEEP THE STUFF ON HAND. I have to keep a private bottle at the places I go to.)
They say it has health benefits. That's nice, too.

For anyone interested... (apologies for the mini-novel)
[I've edited this post using a more up-to-date (2022) recipe]
I started making my ACV drink in May of 2019, and I'm sure this helped me lose weight tremendously. In January of 2019 I weighed around 230Lbs. By September, I was roughly 170Lbs. I was eating once a day at 6PM (it took me a while to learn that was my "sweet spot").
I cut out ALL processed foods (nothing from a box or can with ingredients I couldn't pronounce). My One Meal a Day (OMAD) was always flip-flopping between chicken and steak as the meat, steamed broccoli (or mixed veggies) and quinoa. I also started rollerblading and/or roller skating daily for no less than 40 minutes a day. I had black coffee every day in the morning, which I added collagen peptide and a scoop of coconut oil.
I kept this up for a good 10 months or so, until I got horribly sick on March 8, 2020. That's when I started gaining it all back. I'm currently at 210Lbs (Oct. 2020), so I get to experiment on myself again, and this time I'm adding weight training to the regiment, as the first time around, all I was doing was eating once a day and roller skating -- this made me lose weight too damn fast.
I start my day with my same coffee elixir (Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee w/Lion's Mane, along with Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel and a couple spoonfuls of Coconut Oil).
When a couple hours go by, I then make my ACV drink to sip on for the next couple of hours -- and I use the following ingredients:
Use about *18oz of purified or spring water* into a Glass or Stainless Steel water bottle (leave some air -- as you'll need to shake it up every time you take a drink).
*• 2 tbsp. of Bragg Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar* (The ACV will help neutralize the acid in your body and help with skin, digestion, help curb your appetite and all sorts of other benefits.)
*• I use the juice of ½ to 1 whole (around ½ a shot glass), freshly squeezed lime* (digestive assistance and electrolytes to liver function and skin and more… limes contain a high number of limonoids. Limonoids increase levels of glutathione S-transferases in your body. All that means is that it's helping stimulate the production of glutathione. Glutathione in the body is our body's inherent ability to detox) Lemon juice is also great.
*• ½ tsp. Redmond Real Salt* (the many beneficial minerals will help balance and flush your adrenals).
*• ½ tsp. Ground Cinnamon* (combats diabetes, good for heart, anti-aging, protects the brain, anti-inflammatory, fights infection, helps with allergies.)
*• 1 tsp. Turmeric w/Black Pepper Extract* _I get the 16oz "Feel Good USDA Organic Turmeric Powder" from Costco_ (strong anti-inflammatory properties and many other health benefits.)
*• ½ tsp. Potassium* _I use NOW Supplements, Potassium Chloride Powder_ (Boosts heart health, prevents cramps, reduces risk of stroke, helps lower blood pressure, reduce cellulite, promotes bone health, helps with muscle growth.)
Sip on this for as long as you can throughout the day, but whatever you do *_DO NOT POUND IT_* otherwise you're just gonna end up peeing it all out, and the 5 minutes you spent making this drink would all be for naught!
You're also going to need to shake it up every time before you take a drink, as the powders don’t dissolve quickly in water -- especially if using cold water (I use room temperature water).
Hope this helps someone like I believe it helped me. If ONE person makes this drink, and they report back that they've felt the change in their health like I've felt, then that alone would help me earn my wings!
I've also learned that when I skip a day of drinking this, I feel really sluggish throughout the day, which affects my workouts. And when I DO drink it, my energy levels are almost illegal!

I’ve been taking it every morning for about four years. ACV, lemon and raw honey in warm water. Was having about 3 sinus infections a year. Have not had one since I started taking it. Even if I get a cold, I don’t get stuffed up at all. It is amazing stuff!

Hi ReneeinMN1. Can you tell me more about the recipe you use. I have chronic sinus issues and infections and I have just started taking ACV and I’d like to know more. What is the recipe you use please? Thank you.

@@june-marieblunt4266 I take warm water (about 7oz or so) and I add one tbs of ACV, squeeze 1/4 of a lemon, and a drop or two of raw honey. Stir and drink. Afterwards, I always rinse my mouth out and drink a couple sips of water to make sure the acid is off my teeth. That’s it! You have to get used to the taste but the honey helps with that. I hope it works for you too!

June, I forgot to add to always take it in the morning before you eat or drink anything and then wait about 10-15 minutes afterwards before you do. Braggs is the brand to use. Good luck!

I have ACV/lemon every day in water (room temp). 1 Tablespoon of each (a whole lemon is lightly skinned, leaving on the pith, and then blended in our Vitamix and kept in the fridge). Definitely improved reactions to a cold -- never had them so mild, nothing like they used to affect me.

Bragg’s ACV has absolutely (always) work for my family and I.
It helps with Diabetes, lowering High Blood Pressure, as a gargle for Tonsils stones, Kidney Stones, (it pulverized my son’s Kidney Stones in a few days) Warts (one drop daily in a bandaid) and I even use it INSIDE my eyes for Cataract and Pink Eye. (1/4 TSP in 4 ounces of Distilled Water). I can go on, and on, and on.
Thank you so much for these videos! Try to buy their Book! Bragg ACV Miracle Health System Book!

I started taking ACV about 4 months ago, mainly for Acid Reflux/heartburn. My symptoms have essentially disappeared, after years of tums/gaviscon. I also started to take Betaine.

Did you start the ACV and Betaine at the same time? I'm curious how you would know which one was actually making the difference
