  • A short song made in FL Studio 21 using just a piano.
this time, i took a slightly different approach to writing out the harmony, and i feel it worked out pretty well !!!
im curious to know whether this style is actually a nice step in the right direction though haha

I compose with FL Studio and I remember when I first made a song. It was… chaotic, to say the least. Make sure to use all the tools to your advantage and legitimately just explore. Don’t give up until you get something that you’re satisfied with, and years later, after you release your major hit, you can look back on that first song and cherish how far you’ve come. Bless the mighty algorithm for letting me find you!
This is so beautiful! I feel like I can really tell how you focussed on only the essential notes and "purged" the rest, and it leaves you with this really delicate and emotional piece that makes me think of someone sitting with their feelings and truly experiencing them to carry on, maybe after a decision or just to not give up, like someone in the comments aptly put it "ghibli character realising what they need to do" (or something along those lines)
I feel like the space that opens up with less notes equally gives space to truly feel the music and what it evokes in you.
Tldr, new here, love it, here to stay!

It's always so cool to hear about other peoples' writing process! I feel like writing clearly and concisely adds so much to pieces in retrospect but the chiseling process can be so hard- I tend to go by feeling and then tighten things up from there and it can sometimes feel like murder but like, still definitely for the best

I've been playing so much Pokemon Platinum lately and I feel like this music is PERFECT for that generation. Its similar to Eterna Forest and Verity Lakefront with the calm vibe and simplicity - this is great stuff and Im glad to have rediscovered this channel!!
