Hello there- fell into an incubus reaction rabbit hole tonight- but yes! My first big concert I attended Hoobastank opening for Linkin Park in 7th grade and also a big fan of Incubus Morning View and then A Crow Left of the Murder fan. I can relate to your comment straight up haha
My top 3 Incubus songs are Drive, Wish You Were Here, and Pardon Me. For some reason, every time I hear this Incubus song it reminds me of 311's song "Amber" even tho they really don't sound alike at all, it might have to do with the guitar riff. It's always fun watching someone get introduced to new music! 💙
Incubus is super dope! As a rap fan they were one of the first rock bands I straight up fell in love with…check out everything from Make Yourself and Morning View albums!
Love Incubus, been a fan for many years. They are awesome live. My favorite song of theirs is echo. So many you could react to, all the way back to their harder days on fungus amungus. The anti-gravity love song is amazing.
Incubus encapsulates a time in music for me. Right in the middle of my late teens and early twenties. They had a unique sound that was both mass appealing and still very cool and different. They have a great catalog of music. Definitely check them out more.
"Nice To Know" you was indeed massive hit on the radio at the time... Their whole 3rd album "Morning View" on which the song is featured, is much more polished and commercially appealing than the 2 albums that came before it.
I love Incubus and always have. Morning View is my favorite album. Every track is amazing. If you’d like another banger for the car try Blood On The Ground. Great for the gym too! Keep going down that Incubus rabbit hole. Love you, Cliff. I hope you are well. 🥰
I absolutely love, and never tire of, their music. I saw them about 17 yrs ago, and all of the effects you think you hear on the studio version, it’s nailed in the whole concert. It was actually better because of how connected he is live. This was on the radio, several of the songs were. Wish you were here is another more commonly known song, and pardon me is always a favorite. Southern Girl, Drive, 11 am & Black Heart Inertia. His writing is facinating as well. They are one of the other bands who mixed turntables, rock elements, with a similar indie vocal style that could get heavier in other songs
Incubus is my fave! 😍 they’re still touring and one of the best bands live. Check out Circles from this album. Great break up song. lol also A Crow Left of the Murder. Great rabbit hole to go down’ 💯
Incubus is so fantastic. Im honestly hoping ren at some point does a cover of one of their songs, i think his voice and musicality will go so well with their music 😊
Yes yes more incubus!! ❤ My all time favorite is definitely and would love you to react to is "the warmth" I love love how they added the sounds of Wales to the song. I think there biggest hits (in Europe) are "wish you were here" and "Drive"
Incubus is a band that is better live. I grew up listening to this, and they're Australian ❤ I'd recommend a few songs of theirs: Drive, Pardon Me and Wish You Were Here. Live is always best with these guys.
This album was massive when it dropped. The other one at the same time was the 311 “From Chaos” album. Lot of similarity between those bands, they were friends and co-toured.
If you like the singer here, you should check out the band Days of the New- Shelf in The Room. The lead singer, Travis Meeks, Lived next door to my grandparents in KY and they were always complaining about "that young man next door and his rock and roll music" I was a kid but I do remember hearing him and his band jamming out in the garage when I went to visit..
Saw these guys in concert so many times at several career stages. They are a must see live band and you’d love their older stuff…Brandon Boyd is a killer singer. Red Rocks shows were insane!! Try Pardon Me, New Skin, or even Wish You Were Here if you like the mellow vibe. The morning view sessions were recorded in a kind of coastal isolation and thematically a concept album.
Their song that was the most commercially successful was "Drive". It's the only one that made the top 10 on the main US Billboard Hot 100 chart anyway. Though a few more made the top 10 on the Alternative charts (including this song).
My interpretation of "To obtain a birds eye is to turn a blizzard to a breeze" is to see a situation from an outside perspective and how much simpler things really are. As in a bird's eye view. Megalomaniac, Drive, Oil and Water are my recommendations by them.
Yeah for whoever said that about Hoobastank taking the show must have primarily been a fan of theirs and not Incubus. I saw that tour, too. Hoobastank to me was like Incubus Light with one hit that sounded like “Drive” Light.
Dayum love this group. It's so crazy, this band, Bush and Oasis. I go a couple years and it's like fkkk I love that band. Well if you ever get a chance check out Incubus - Wish You Were Here, Drive, Stellar & Dig Bush - Glycerine, Come Down, Machine Head & Everything Zen Oasis - Wonder wall & Champagne Super Nova All absolutely amazing songs.
Seen them live twice, once as a co-headliner with Linkin Park (honestly LP was better) but they sound exactly the same live as they do in the studio which is pretty rare. Every girl that was into alt-rock in my high school was in love with Brandon Boyd. I get it lol His words are poetry.
would love too see u dive into some marlyn manson he always get the bad wrap of being that scary creapy guy (which he is) but givin ur love of lyrics u will apreciate his songs if u really listen to what hes saying
So this is a studio song dubbed over a live act? I love incubus, keep em coming, not sure this is a good one. I suggest “Morning view sessions” if live, but their studio shit is jamming too
God yes, I remember this, they were a great band in their era. Hoobastank is good too.
They still are good!
@@brando4698I was about too say this thank you 🤘

How did you forget dig?
Talk Shows on Mute was up there for me
For me Warning is up there as well. Something about the melodies and pace is just so amazing to me.
Pardon Me was my ringtone for years in high school haha
"Anna Molly" "Make A Moove", "Mexico", "Are You In" Incubus has a great catalogue.
Anything from Make Yourself or Morning View is amazing. Awesome band!
Dude, Incubus was massive in the late 90's early 2000's.
I was a little kid. Got straight into hiphop by the time I was 7-8
Please dig into more of incubus
I see what you did there
@@here4thecookies676 I dig it
Incubus is super dope! As a rap fan they were one of the first rock bands I straight up fell in love with…check out everything from Make Yourself and Morning View albums!
'DIG' is an awesome song too!
They are still together and touring. They are amazing.
This album is from 2001 so it's 23 years old 😮
Love Incubus, been a fan for many years. They are awesome live. My favorite song of theirs is echo. So many you could react to, all the way back to their harder days on fungus amungus. The anti-gravity love song is amazing.
Echo takes me back to surf trips with my friends in New Zealand at 19yrs old. Such a unique song.
Incubus encapsulates a time in music for me. Right in the middle of my late teens and early twenties. They had a unique sound that was both mass appealing and still very cool and different. They have a great catalog of music. Definitely check them out more.
Ah the beautiful Brandon Boyd. Incubus are incredible. Take a listen to stellar. The live version was our first dance at our wedding x
"Nice To Know" you was indeed massive hit on the radio at the time...
Their whole 3rd album "Morning View" on which the song is featured, is much more polished and commercially appealing than the 2 albums that came before it.
Incubus became mass appealing and catchy but still had riffs that shook you to the core. This is a perfect example! They truly are one of a kind
this song is a masterpiece
I love Incubus and always have. Morning View is my favorite album. Every track is amazing. If you’d like another banger for the car try Blood On The Ground. Great for the gym too! Keep going down that Incubus rabbit hole. Love you, Cliff. I hope you are well. 🥰
Yeah boy! Incubus are my running soundtrack still to this day
I absolutely love, and never tire of, their music. I saw them about 17 yrs ago, and all of the effects you think you hear on the studio version, it’s nailed in the whole concert. "Drive." Hands down my favorite Incubus Song, and they have some amazing ones. "Pardon Me" is a close 2nd, but 2nd.
Drive is my favorite Incubus song
@@Emilie-one It's a message more people need to hear these days. Stop being Sheeple.
And dig!!!
Incubus is my fave! 😍 they’re still touring and one of the best bands live. Check out Circles from this album. Great break up song. lol also A Crow Left of the Murder. Great rabbit hole to go down’ 💯
Everything they have created made sense. One lead into another. One of those you have to watch from start to finish. Please.
These guys are awesome! So many great songs! Dig, Love hurts, Warning and Are you in are a few favorites.
Dig, Pardon Me, Anna Molly, 11am, Circles, Beware! Criminal -- they have SO MANY good songs.
Make yourself is an awesome song with a great msg 💜
And if I F me....I'll F me in my own way!!!
They've got so many big hits. Great live too. Saw them with deftones years ago. One of the best concerts I've been too.
So many great songs. Under my Umbrella is one of my faves. Vitamin. Anna Molly. Promises. I can think of a lot
Incubus is dope, they were so different and I loved their easy vibe they have whole still being a great rock band. This was my college driving music💕
Incubus is so fantastic. Im honestly hoping ren at some point does a cover of one of their songs, i think his voice and musicality will go so well with their music 😊
Love Incubus! So talented!
Yes yes more incubus!! ❤
My all time favorite is definitely and would love you to react to is "the warmth" I love love how they added the sounds of Wales to the song.
I think there biggest hits (in Europe) are "wish you were here" and "Drive"
I 2nd The Warmth, my favorite as well.
My favorite of theirs as well, followed closely by Wish You Were Here and Dig.
Rabbit hole started!! Great band.
One of my favourite break up songs! Also love Pardon Me and Wish You Were Here
Great song….always enjoy their music
"Wish You Were Here" is a classic Incubus, bro. Have at it 👍
Great band to see live.🤘🇦🇺💙
Incubus is a band that is better live. I grew up listening to this, and they're Australian ❤ I'd recommend a few songs of theirs: Drive, Pardon Me and Wish You Were Here. Live is always best with these guys.
Definitely not Australian
This album was massive when it dropped. The other one at the same time was the 311 “From Chaos” album. Lot of similarity between those bands, they were friends and co-toured.
From Chaos and Transistor, two of my favorite albums ❤
Absolute love Incubus.. been listening to them for years. Under rated band in my opinion. Should have a much higher profile.
They recorded some small room shows called "Morning View Sessions" -- worth a look.
Not sure what other song you did but you should check out their song "talk shows on mute"
Ah.... my first loves favourite band, thanks for bringing up some happy memories. Going to go listen to "Drive" and reflect on my life choices.
I’ve never heard this song on the radio. From this album I think the big radio hit was the song, Are You In.
Make yourself is a banger too! Give that a shot.
This video came out in 2002 from there 2001 album. The video was Uploaded when RUclips became a thing back in 2007.
❤❤❤ Incubus is one of the best bands ever
Saw these guys in concert so many times at several career stages. They are a must see live band and you’d love their older stuff…Brandon Boyd is a killer singer. Red Rocks shows were insane!! Try Pardon Me, New Skin, or even Wish You Were Here if you like the mellow vibe. The morning view sessions were recorded in a kind of coastal isolation and thematically a concept album.
I saw them thru their whole career arch. Saw them at a small club in San Jose. Back with their 1st bassist. A lot of Science
Their song that was the most commercially successful was "Drive". It's the only one that made the top 10 on the main US Billboard Hot 100 chart anyway. Though a few more made the top 10 on the Alternative charts (including this song).
Incubus are a great band 🤘👌

Never dug Hoobastank but def like Incubus. Check out 311 All Mixed Up or Down.
Yeah for whoever said that about Hoobastank taking the show must have primarily been a fan of theirs and not Incubus. I saw that tour, too. Hoobastank to me was like Incubus Light with one hit that sounded like “Drive” Light.
Check out any of the songs in their live “Morning View Sessions”
Aside from music back in that era we enjoy concerts without flashing smartphones
❤ The HD live version is so much better! You should check it out!
A certain shade of green
Finally someone appreciating this band and his singer … man they are so overrated and he is such a good and clear singer
they have a collab with Big Pun - Still Not a Player (edit: cover)
Dayum love this group. It's so crazy, this band, Bush and Oasis. I go a couple years and it's like fkkk I love that band. Well if you ever get a chance check out
Incubus - Wish You Were Here, Drive, Stellar & Dig
Bush - Glycerine, Come Down, Machine Head & Everything Zen
Oasis - Wonder wall & Champagne Super Nova
All absolutely amazing songs.
Every alt leaning girl from the 90s had a crush on Brandon. I was certainly guilty.
perfect specimen of a man
Love to see you do Nothing Nowhere - I've been doing well
You should do some early Incubus, S.C.I.E.N.C.E in particular was an amazing album!
Seen them live twice, once as a co-headliner with Linkin Park (honestly LP was better) but they sound exactly the same live as they do in the studio which is pretty rare.
Every girl that was into alt-rock in my high school was in love with Brandon Boyd. I get it lol His words are poetry.
I believe this song is about Brandon’s pinky finger going numb after sleeping on it while on a flight.
Essentially when your arm falls asleep.
For some of the best Incubus from the last 5 years, try some Nimble Bastard or Into The Summer
would love too see u dive into some marlyn manson he always get the bad wrap of being that scary creapy guy (which he is) but givin ur love of lyrics u will apreciate his songs if u really listen to what hes saying
💜💜💜
The whole album was good.
Gotta do 311 - Use Of Time if you like Incubus
So this is a studio song dubbed over a live act? I love incubus, keep em coming, not sure this is a good one. I suggest “Morning view sessions” if live, but their studio shit is jamming too
Megalomaniac. Drive. Sick sad little world. Circles. Their old stuff on science is so much fun but different.
What was the first song Cliff listened to? I can’t find it
Did your other incubus video get removed?
they weren't commercial they should of been.
(Sigh) nostalgia
check out incubus warning!
Can you please react to Ollie- dead rose's
Hoobastank ain’t never stole the show from incubus lol
Wish you were here. please?
Go listen to fungus amongus immediately
Listen to "warning" by them if this was more your taste...
