Junkyard Fox has a similar knife. From similar inspiration, he conceded in his design to add a finger nub in front, and he has a combination grind on his original model.
Almost anyone could buy it if they wanted to. Save $10 a week for a 6 months. Most people waste more than $10 a week on stupid stuff that they don’t really need.
I didn’t realize it was around $25 a year. In that case, it may be worth it for me to become a member . A couple questions though: Are you able to choose the steel for any of the exclusive knives? Are a good majority of the Pout House exclusive knives available in steels other than O1 (Specifically, A2, CPM 3V, and AEBL? I don’t buy knives in O1, so it won’t really be worth it for me if there aren’t a decent amount of knives available in other steels. Thanks
You are not able to pick steels, it’s just luck of the draw from the shop. Generally speaking there’s around 2-3 knives to chose from at a time to build out in the As You Wish and they vary in steels. I’ve seen knives in all the steels you’ve mentioned. And the random monthly drawings are usually a mix as well
First of all I do want to say LT Wright makes really quality knife’s. I would also say this, for the amount of money a person has to pony up to purchase an LT Wright they should be able to order anything that LT Wright makes and should be able to order it in any materials they offer. Instead people are forced into buying whatever LT Wright decides they want to make and in the quantity and material they choose, and you pay what they want for something you don’t necessarily want. People are paying the price they are asking you should be able to get it the way you want. 99.9% of all other businesses do business this way! I will also say there are plenty of other very quality knife makers that work for the customer, and you can order what you want, the way you want it, and they will be getting my money before LT Wright.
Sorry you feel that way but you clearly didn’t see the benefits of being a PH member. Multiple of us on this channel are PH members and constantly talk about how awesome it is. For a months worth of sodas you can join and have a chance at monthly random drawings for free knives. Also this knife is not that expensive when you put it together for what you get quality and design
@@TheBeardedBurton I’m glad you are happy with the way LT Wright does business, but I am not. I was a PH member for 2 years. The whole reason was I thought it would give me the opportunity to purchase the knifes I would like to have made by LT Wright, but it couldn’t be further from the way it is. I never won anything, but I didn’t pay to be a member for a hand out I did it for the opportunity to pay full price for what I wanted, but you don’t get what you want! You get what LT Wright decides to make and throw out there for you. But I’m done with that, there are too many other very good knife makers that know how to treat a customer and don’t play these games, so they have earned my business.
@@reddirt5489that’s unfortunate. Over the 10 years of being a PH member I’ve purchase dozens of knives I wanted exactly. From the Christmas vault shows, to key stamps from Blade Show, to the weekly Hot off the Grind on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And over the last 12 years of being in the outdoor/knife community, I’ve yet to see a knife maker with this quality of fit and finish have completely open books 24/7 to freely design and make whatever I can think of and make enough money, have enough time and materials, and be able to run a business, with that sort of approach. I can’t think of any actually that do that…

Couple of SWEET knives there! I love the combination of old West and Scandinavian influences. 👍
Looks like a Carbon copy of Junkyard Fox Snake eater!!! 😂✊️🔥✌️💚
You took the words out of my mouth lol😂 I love James at junkyard Fox
@@mikefox7947 i.mean really a scandi to full flat grind isn't really all that noticeable 🤣🤣🤣🙌
I think the original lt wright “Guide” came out in 2019 before the the snake eater.
And it would seem that the Guide and snake eater both could have taken some inspiration from the russell green river hunter.
@@chrisp1598 I agree
Great knife!
They need to make a huge batch of these I want one in 3v or AEB-L
This is amazing!!!! I need one or three.
Wow what an awesome knife. Really like the handle shape
Nice!!!👍🏼
Blade looks a lot like the Garberg. Handle, not so much. Should be be more than capable. 👍

Snake Eater is a fine blade
those are lefty sheaths thats awsome
I like your observations regarding the lack of a baby choil. Far pereferable without.
Sick knife shape. Very green river
Wonderful. Looks like a copy from the Simple 1/16 from Bear Forest Knives. But not in 52100 steel.
Love those old knives
Looks a lot like the Snake Eater
There’s some great knives out there paying tribute to the old Green River knives. This and the Snake Eater both do that
1:44 looks like a clip point.
So I’ll say it. Another knife that most people can’t buy.
And when you buy, you leave it behind when you die..

@@chrisp1598exactly. I don’t understand why not drinking soda for a month to save $25 is such a big deal
It’s really easy to buy one , just become a Pout House member

Where can i join the pout house and become a member? Would love to get a key stamp lt one day
everybody should be able to buy this knife.. without having to pay extra for a membership. wtf
Why? Apparently membership has benefits. Who would have thought.
You didn’t hear what the additional benefits were to the PH. It’s $25 a year, literally a month without a soda
Are these going back up on the Red Wall?
What’s the blade length?
Sharpened edge is 5”
