    Do good deeds, be part of your community. If you can't deal with your job then get help, don't perpetrate that violence on the public that includes the criminals.

    Police are needed, policing as it is today is unacceptable. The age of everyone records has shown how they work and the atrocities they are capable of committing. Things have to and will change. Canada is the most amazing place on earth and our police need to understand we will keep our freedoms and not be Americanized and militarized.

    Though I haven't lived in Ontario for over thirty years I still have great memories of the OPP. An exceptionally scruffy 20-something young man I had a catastrophic engine failure in my vehicle on the 401 near London at 2 AM. I needed desperately to get back to Toronto for an important family event. An officer found me, arranged a tow to a local garage and taking pity on my poor broke self arranged a series of rides with various patrollers right to North York. Princes one and all. A great piece

    I find O.P.P. has the most professional police officers I have ever encountered in the course of my life. The one thing I have liked is they help people who are stuck on the highways along with talking to people in the most polite and professional manner ever. I really like the video where the officer helped an elderly man who was lost which was something that made me cry so much along with the fact that they allowed these random people in the park to take a photo with them.

    Nice to see a more human and realistic side of the OPP. Police see almost exclusively the "bad" parts of society on the job which must be very hard. I have never been a victim of a crime but I know that's only because of all the work police do "behind the scenes." I have great respect for our police, firefighters and paramedics for the work they do. Happy holidays and merry Christmas to all our first responders! And great video members of the OPP.

    As for 911 call ,what a joke 3 times ive called the quickest they came was half an hour 2nd time was 1hour after some drunken teen was trespassing and making threats that the 911 operator could here.Third time after I called and told them teens breaking into warehouse cross the street they didn't even show up.

    No. I would be happier if they realized that they are not better than everybody else and that they need us just as much, if not more, than we need them. They do not need to take a pay cut. But if they do they would actuallt put truth to their comment that "They are here for us". Other wise, they are not here for us, they are here for themselves: their high pay that the public has to work for and their own egos. If they were here for us, actually help us by taking a pay freeze, not a pay cut, a pay freeze and ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING FOR THE PUBLIC. If they actually were for us and not for themselves they would not have said a word during the provincial election to sway/intimidate the voters. They acted in their own self interest and not in the interest of they people THEY say they are here to serve.

    • @JayFresh98
      @JayFresh98 10 лет назад +1

      You know what police officers have bills to pay why attack the police they have a job to do like u everyone works hard for there money money doesn't just come from your taxes it goes to help pay other things but even yourself will have money that's how living in Canada is

    • @vinnie7753
      @vinnie7753 10 лет назад +1

      Jason OPP I know police officers have bills to pay just like the rest of us. The difference is my wages goes towards paying my bills and through taxes also paying YOUR bills. If I want a raise I have to accept more responsibility or find another job. I do not get an automatic raise at the expense of everyone else. You do. Just understand we work for you just as hard you work for us like your video says. The difference is we, the taxpayers, do not put up a video to make ourselves feel better and to make the rest of society feel they owe us something or to intimidate us. YOU DO AND DID. We just go to work. No video, no parades, NO AUTOMATIC RAISES. If you truly do care for society and for the people your video claims you work for, please, please understand that many of us have not had a raise in years. Many of us do not have a pension. Many of us do not have the great benefits that you have. Please take a pay freeze for a few years. Not a pay cut, just a pay freeze. This way we in society can actually get a break (for once) and put some of our cash towards our own retirement. Nothing else. And, if you do not want a pay freeze, fair enough. But please shut up with the propaganda. Because in the end, if you do go to work, I MAY be the victim of a crime. If I do not go to work and pay taxes, you do not get paid. Very simple logic. So if anything, you need us more than we need you. If you cannot realize that than you are either very stupid or very greedy. You can decide which.
      Plus your grammar in your reply is very bad and though I understand what you are trying to say, your writing skills suck.

    • @JayFresh98
      @JayFresh98 10 лет назад

      Good point I know a lot of people these days who will be happy to save tax dollars and use it for them selfs because I'm only 15 and to know a lot about the economy right now is crucial so this government got to stop stealing peoples money to pay for nonsense like the gas plant scandal

    • @vinnie7753
      @vinnie7753 10 лет назад

      Jason OPP You are 15? That's a surprise. However, if it wasn't for the ongoing waste of money by the Provincial Liberals, this entire conversation would not even be happening. Both the police and the taxpayers would be in a good financial position that they would not need to argue amongst themselves. But the OPP did publicly back the Liberals.

    • @JayFresh98
      @JayFresh98 10 лет назад

      Yeah but the OPP doesn't like the PC party because hudaks plans to cut OPP pay and let the officers lose work the liberals are supporting the OPP plus I heard Ontario is the most highest tax paying province in Canada look at that it sucks

Instead of protecting the community your mandate as an officer is to disagree with comments on RUclips. You would be triggered literally if you met any of these people in life.
