It's been awhile since I counted my collection and I thank you for asking me to do so cuz it keeps me in check for trying not to go way over bird I am currently at 186 not counting my top and base coats. I am also doing project polish so that way I can help not expand to much. I only can wear polishes on my days off so I only have 4 in and I agree that if you pick so you can mix and match it helps along with nail stamping and nail art helps you use all and keep things interesting

You must be a true polish lover! I find that sponging helps me get through colours I do f always reach for. Almost everything looks good as an ombré lol
I haven't had a lot of luck with spongeing but I guess it would be good practice with project polishes thanks for the reminder
@@whitetigersallie1146 it didn’t work well until I got more practice, now I’m not sure why I was struggling before. But not everyone likes the process or the look 👍
I've been panning about 1 polish per month. I decluttered 6 In January. I'm hoping to get 12 full bottles out of my collection this year, mostly Essie and OPIs. This time last year I had 90, I now have 30!
Wow impressive 60% shrinkage! You must really be honing in on your faves
I've been doing project polish for a few years now. I just focus on a couple polishes per season to use whenever I'm not sure what color to put on. I try to focus on older bottles that are halfway through. I probably work through 6-7 bottles a year like this. I have gone from 100+ nail polishes to around 50. I'd like to get to a curated collection of 20ish nail polishes.
That’s the dream. I would love to only have 20 polishes. Maybe I can get there someday lol
