My random/weird recent perfume purchase is Viva La Juicy Sucre. It is frivolous teeny-bopper for sure, but also fresh and sweet and joyful and fun and I love it! It makes me feel young and carefree when I wear it and I love it for that reason. I am sorry about your family in the Ukraine.
I love your perfume videos. Am home sick today and this is good medicine. You have such a lovely way of presenting, and while I’m sad to hear you are stressed, you are not alone in “strange” purchasing time to time. I am so sorry to hear about your relatives in Ukraine. What a terrible time. I have never thought to layer something super sweet w/ No. 5-going to have to try that. I own Diesel Green… if you aren’t familiar, and feel like googling it, it looks like a plant mister. It is also a weird one but once in a blue moon I get a hankering. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, experiences, and love of perfume.
Aww I'm sorry to hear about your relatives. I have relatives in both Russia and Ukraine and I worry about both parts of my family. It's okay to have weird purchases. Sometimes your tastes change or go through phases and that's okay.
Firstly, I am so sorry to hear you have relatives in Ukraine. What is happening is extremely distressing and I will put your family in my prayers. Ahhh, yes, these past two years, in particular, have been very difficult, very unsettling. I totally get you deciding to buy them. After all, why not! I got hit with a desire, in the past couple of months, to buy a few expensive candles to burn in the bedroom. I'm certain I was trying to self soothe. I've only lit three of them. One remains un-lit, still 🤦♀️ These times are stressful, and it causes us to react sometimes🤗🤗 My first ever 'grown up' was Cacharel. It's a brand that will always be special to me. The two you bought I've never heard of before, but Amore Amore have so many flankers, I find it hard to keep up with them. The bottles are fab. They are cute, they are happy looking!
That's probably why I got the bottles lol. I don't recommend them. You are not missing much. As for stress shopping with a desire to "treat myself" - it's a pretty standard reaction for me. Need to keep it in check! Candles are definitely a thing, so are expensive loose teas. In med school when I was super stressed I've bought a ton of unnecessary stuff and got much further into debt than needed....sigh....
