Your "Mothers for windshields" link goes to Mothers Chrome polish, not for windshields. Not saying it wouldn't work for that, but is that what you're using on the windshield?
What you see in the links is exactly what we’re using the chrome polish works the best on windshields because it helps to take out micro scratches and embedded dead bugs trust me we’ve used it for years and years and years and years merry Christmas

Will this get rid of the sand pitting? I have heard of way to sand a windshield to remove that but for life of me don't recall the process.

Do you feel that mothers chrome polish is better than the mag and aluminum polish? Or is it basically the same stuff except thinner?

Our roads are throwing up rocks from deteriorated cement paving pot holes. Semi trucks really tear up the cement. Hot summers. Freezing winters too. If they had just asphalted over that cement in the beginning when it was new, wouldn't it have lasted longer ?

This is great for glass, but what do you use on plastic rear convertible windows? my friend has a '63 galaxy convertible and the back window is so yellow you cannot see through it. any suggestions?
i have the griot G9 Random Orbital Polisher, any tips for buffing using these kinds of machines? i've not used it yet, still have to find the right pads for the job, "windshield restoration"
Mike, I think you might have listed the wrong Mother's chrome polish in your tools list. Another commenter said that the chrome polish that you listed in your tools list is not to be used on windshields/glass, however, I cannot find in the Amazon description for that product any mention that it can or should not be used on glass. I might have missed that notation on your Amazon linked page, but I did not see it. However, while scrolling down on that page I saw another listing for a Mother's chrome polish, but a bit more expensive ($39). When I clicked on that link and read the description for that more expensive Mother's chrome polish it said that it was compatible with using it on glass. Mike, would you please check this out and provide a link on your reply to the appropriate Mother's chrome polish that you would recommend to be used on glass as you showed?
Hey, brother... loyal follower since before you became a fellow Florida resident (Central FL here). I have a couple of questions in regard to this Mother's (chrome polish) product and the windshield...
I usually clean and wax my windshield (works much better than RainX and leaves no spots, after rain or a wash with hard water) as you know. Do you suggest that we polish the windshield as you did here (I love how it looks like crystal) and then wax polish it to bead up the rain or does the Mother's product (in the video description of course, thanks Julio) also 'apply' a water beading benefit in addition to the crystal like polish/finish? Thank you in advance.
*I sorta forgot... I use a ceramic coat on my sunroof and rear window (2006 Saturn View) BUT... have you had any experience using it on a windshield? The idea makes me a bit squeemish but if it is safe to use then that's better than wax polishing every couple of months, IMO.

Mad Mike that product looks to be oil based and leaves a lot of buffed residue all over you can see in the video. Hard to get off trim and rubber seals. Buffing the glass using Quad Zero 0000 Steel wool works wonders on glass my friend and easy clean up. More elbow grease for sure but cleaning up polish residue is the worst in my opinion and I avoid using any products that put out that much residue. Please stay Sweet
