I just got mine yesterday and will test it out this weekend. Like you, I am not a professional and I don't want to break the bank so this made perfect sense. Next thing is to find some birds to shoot (using the lens of course 😂).

@@officialchopnation5220 - So far so good, but I haven't been able to test it fully until I go on my vacation the end of June. I want to see if I can catch some wildlife with this lens. Unfortunately around my area, there's nothing good to capture - birds are so small around here 😥.

It is version II. The lens will work with any micro four thirds camera.

I’m not sure, but I don’t think the teleconverters are compatible with this lens. It’s like that with other brands too where only the expensive lenses are compatible with the teleconverters 😞
This may sound dumb, but how are you getting 600mm? 😂 I know I’m missing something but I’m a noob with photography.
The field of view (what you see in the picture) with any given focal length on a micro four thirds camera is equivalent to 2x that focal length if you were to use a full frame camera. So in this case the 100-300mm lens I used would give you the same framing as a 200-600mm lens on a full frame camera. 😃
