I grew up in the Pacific NW and in grade school we were taught many of the legends and ways of the local Native America tribes. Much of the PNW is named in Native language (Ohanipicosh being one of my personal favorites :) ). I'm a Christian, and I think/feel that many Christians are over-wary of using Native spiritual practices and ways of walking into their lives. I believe that Jesus, my Lord would have me embrace this gift as part of His marvelous creation, and I share the sensitivity. No one wants to be an apostate; we just want to honor God and live a good life. Smudging was recommended by my Naturopathic MD, Dr. Casey Carr, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I'd never heard of it, or had forgotten, and I feel really blessed to have (re)discovered it, with your help. Thank you, Mallory Rose. I'm off to buy my first smudge kit.

After watching this video, I sent the link to my neice who's mom passed recently after a long illness. I suggested to her that she smudge the house before she moves in to rid the negative energies she feels in it. Hoping it helps her!

My usual MO is to tell all negative energies are NOT welcome in our home or around our family. To leave through the one open window now and to move on. That our home and family are protected. That only love and light and helpful energies are welcome. We also use a song bowl on a daily basis. I am the only one in the family that dose these as the kids are a bit young and my husband is a very negative person.
I am aslo a beginner and have wanted to smudge my home for 20 yrs. I have four kids wth my husband and I've always felt a heaviness here. As my children have gotten older more and more anxiety and depression have affected them all including myself. My youngest son is 17 and has struggled his entire life with ADHD, impulsive disorder and recently we believe we finally found out he isn't Bipolar but BPD. Which makes more sense and why we have continued to research and become educated. He struggles with anger and rage with overwhelming feelings of dread and negativity. A lot has happened in our family over 20 yrs that I believe the residual negativity is trapped and affecting us all. Its so tense you could cut it with a knife. And don't get me wrong we are there for each other, suppotive and do have laughs. But it feels like we can't as a family ever all just be happy so to speak. Thank you for posting these videos because I want have the best outcome I can so doing it right is so comforting. I look forward to watching more of them.

Been being haunted for about more than half a decade by a random ass demon who I do not know. It just knows I'm a medium and it has attached itself to me and currently haunts me. Will be smudging my house soon, thank you!! (I have researched everything, tested for schizophrenia, seeing disorders or illnesses, I am completely healthy. I have seen it's face and despise it. All things aside, thank you so much for this)

I haven't felt this broken, depressed, lonely, guilty, devasted, or angry in all my 34 years on this miserable earth. But I'm almost relieved for him since I know he's been in pain for a while. I just want to know if this is something I can smudge for. I'm Algonquin Ojibwe and not once have I smudged my house but not once have I ever felt like this. I'm heartbroken.

Then open windows, doors and put out whatever is burning closing the scared space. Some times i put out the PS by smudging in in the sink then washing hands, sink w water or burying PS in ground when done.

I smuged our apartment when we had a stuck spirit. She wasn't happy and moved the tooth brushes in the bathroom I had to reenact it!band got the same sound We got some help from mediums to help move her on. Energy is much better and I use sage alot now 😍🙏

I moved into my house with my family (3 daughters under 9 and a partner) about just over a year ago. I've been super stressed, depressed, anxious and overall just negative since moving in. Recently we've been seeing things, hearing things move and walk around, feelings of uneasiness and all have had bad dreams. I have trouble sleeping and have had trouble sleeping for a very very long time. I've realised that I'm actually taking my anger and frustration out on my kids and I do not like it AT ALL (i dont hit them, i yell out at them). I'm wanting to smudge myself and my house this weekend but I don't quite know where to start as I am a first-timer! Do I leave all the windows open or closed? I've learned quite a lot already from your videos, so thank you!

I have never smudged before but have being going through a lot lately and I feel like there is a lot of negativity around myself and my home. Myself and my family need strength is this a good thing to do to move forward?
There is a lot of evil that came through my house while I was in ER and Rehab to save my foot from a serious celulitiuous infection. I got medicine bags but I need a lot of ritual sayings inside and outside and door ways. In Jewdiasm we of course protect our door ways. Any links or words are helpful when I am released

I am going to move into a new house together with my new partner, also my daughter and his mother will live in this house. I have smudged my old place 7 years ago, after my break up with said girls father, and had a great experience with cleansing away negative energies and a happy space outcome. I will do a smudging ceremony for this house because I think it will be helpful for our goals. Maybe a ceremony with all members of the house would be wise as well? Is there a guideline? What does that mean: If I burn something, the fire is ending before the smudgestick is ending? It happens with everything: with wood, with insence-sticks, with sage... has this a meaning?? 🤔 I use it, during meditation. Small candles also end to burn after a few minutes (normally they used to burn about 4 hours) What could this be?

I just started my journey into sage smudging due to countless nightmares and me and my husband had been getting sick on and off for over 2 months also just started my crystal healing journey as well hoping this is will help rid the negative energy around us and the home

I smuged our apartment when we had a stuck spirit. She wasn't happy and moved the tooth brushes in the bathroom I had to reenact it!band got the same sound We got some help from mediums to help move her on. Energy is much better and I use sage alot now 😍🙏

I moved into my house with my family (3 daughters under 9 and a partner) about just over a year ago. I've been super stressed, depressed, anxious and overall just negative since moving in. Recently we've been seeing things, hearing things move and walk around, feelings of uneasiness and all have had bad dreams. I have trouble sleeping and have had trouble sleeping for a very very long time. I've realised that I'm actually taking my anger and frustration out on my kids and I do not like it AT ALL (i dont hit them, i yell out at them). I'm wanting to smudge myself and my house this weekend but I don't quite know where to start as I am a first-timer! Do I leave all the windows open or closed?

Helped me connect with the energy, which is neutral to good to begin with. Will smudge quarterly at the very least, and with more and more confidence. Your advice made a world of difference! 💛

I have never smudged before but have being going through a lot lately and I feel like there is a lot of negativity around myself and my home. Myself and my family need strength is this a good thing to do to move forward?
There is a lot of evil that came through my house while I was in ER and Rehab to save my foot from a serious celulitiuous infection. I got medicine bags but I need a lot of ritual sayings inside and outside and door ways. In Jewdiasm we of course protect our door ways. Any links or words are helpful when I am released

I’m curious if you or anyone else noticed the small floating object that crosses the screen from the upper left corner to the bottom right? It’s a small white streak that appears in Step #5 at about the 8minute mark. My rational side says it could simply be a small particle of dust or a recording glitch. I’m more inclined to think it is a spiritual anomaly of some sort. I’d love it if would share your thoughts.

Interesting tutorial on Smudging. I did this once, but I had no idea what I was doing, just trying to cleanse the house at the time.
Cleansing is still is a good reason to smudge. But there are a lot more benefits you get from smudging. 😁 Thanks for watching!

I am going to move into a new house together with my new partner, also my daughter and his mother will live in this house.
I have smudged my old place 7 years ago, after my break up with said girls father, and had a great experience with cleansing away negative energies and a happy space outcome.
I will do a smudging ceremony for this house because I think it will be helpful for our goals.
Maybe a ceremony with all members of the house would be wise as well?

What does that mean:
If I burn something, the fire is ending before the smudgestick is ending? It happens with everything: with wood, with insence-sticks, with sage... has this a meaning?? 🤔
I use it, during meditation. Small candles also end to burn after a few minutes (normally they used to burn about 4 hours) What could this be?
Eu defumei a casa que estou morando atualmente com Sálvia Branca e, depois disso, eu passei por um lugar que eu não estava conseguindo passar de forma tranquila. Acredito que havia alguma energia bloqueando aquele lugar. Estou defumando a casa semanalmente aos domingos. Hoje, por ser Dia de Reis, eu fiz uma defumação especial!!!
