    Got nothing from this being a little hard of hearing, so the music to me drowned out the lady doing the speaking. After trying for three times I moving on to the next you tuber on this subject. Just info I am sure some people had no problem hearing the speaker.

    I notice you don’t even mention the PD which is important but you never give to the patient!

      Hi there! You can measure your PD here: ms.spr.ly/6056dpaVo as well as ask for your measurements in-store! Have a nice day 😊

      @@LensCrafters I appreciate the informative video. My local LensCrafters, after I spent money in the store with the exam, etc., refused to give me the PD measurement, unless I was buying the frame and lenses there, right then. That, alone, would deter me. But, let's do national campaigns about the importance of your customers and their eye health.
      Certainly taints the reciprocity when a helpful video like this one hits your target. It's a dumb move I immediately told about 4 people in my circle.

    What would the prescription of a 20/20 vision look like?

    • @OksanaShevtsova
      @OksanaShevtsova 4 месяца назад

      It would be all "0" and the patient wouldn't need a prescription in that case.

    Constructive input intended, but the music is excessively loud and on the same sound level as Dr. Jahangirian's narrative. I was unable to overcome the distraction to view the presentation. At a subtle level, I'm sure her otherwise professional material would have been helpful. Edit: "Eyes Explained" channel has an excellent example of how to incorporate music in their video on the same topic.

    Not trying to be an eyeglasses worker but with these prescriptions, how do they use the info?
    So if the sphere says -1.50 what will they do to the glasses to fit that requirement
    Etc for the rest (cyl, axis, etc)
    Axis is the way the glasses tilt right?
    Does cylinder mean the thickness? Or is that the sphere

    I have a question on my prescription the right eye has the sph, cyl and axis fields completed but the left eye only has the sph field completed could my optician have completed the form incorrectly?

    • @OksanaShevtsova
      @OksanaShevtsova 4 месяца назад

      That likely means that you only have astigmatism in your right eye. The left has a normal, spherical curvature, so the "cyl" and "axis" values are not necessary.

      I think your best options are to contact your eye doctor to clarify or just go to the store and try on both and see which one allows you to read clearly (+2.0 and +3.5 should be noticeably different).
