I hope the raps are pre-written like Verbal War Zone. One recommendation I have is to have up and coming producers flex their production skills, so all the battle beats should have a named producer behind them.

It should be 2 on twos where the rapper and a dj vs another rapper and dj. All original beats and rhymes. Instead of the old same beat rounds. 2to 3 min rounds back and forth to keep the pace
Time will tell if this works out. I’ve seen this style on other leagues, not sure how it will play out if it’s just round for round. Crowd reaction takes away from the flow and oftentimes drowns out the battlers’ following line(s). Hopefully they make it work better. Time will tell.
