    There's a couple of slammed LS400s in the DFW area. I'm in the process on working on mine now.

    Please tuck your wiring harness before any hard driving, you don’t want to rub through, they are located right in the front fenders on both sides

    • @drivemodenjoy
      @drivemodenjoy  2 года назад +2

      I looked into tucking them but haven’t had a single instance of rubbing in almost a thousand miles. That is a great tip for anyone looking into lowering one of these!

    absolutely beautiful. currently planning on importing a celsior and running this exact setup with the wheels and coilovers. happened to stumble upon this video and it gave me so much confidence in the look. did you guys use spacers and approximately how low could you guys lower it without fenders pulled, scrubbing, tucking wires, and bottoming out

      No rubbing and also no spacers. It hard to tell how far to go down, we just adjusted until it was as perfect as we could get.

    No negativity meant at all. Love the video, but hearing the same 30 second sample of music got a little tiring after the first 5 minutes, let alone a half hour video. Car looks great !

      You have to be careful while driving, but not so careful that you can’t enjoy the car. You get used to it after a while.

    My aluminum hub rings have never "melted" to the wheel or hub. Because like a smart person I use antisieze. An area that's metal on metal you can't introduce a plastic piece...

    • @drivemodenjoy
      @drivemodenjoy  2 года назад +1

      Just speaking from experience! I’ve personally always used plastic without any issues. Working in a dealership I’ve seen a few nasty instances with metal hub rings. More power to the smart ones that install things correctly! 🙏

      @drivemodenjoy Lol. Thanks for admitting I'm the smart one. Yeah like I said plastic on metal and metal will crack dissipate from heat.
