There's a couple of slammed LS400s in the DFW area. I'm in the process on working on mine now.
Would love to see how it turns out!
Please tuck your wiring harness before any hard driving, you don’t want to rub through, they are located right in the front fenders on both sides
I looked into tucking them but haven’t had a single instance of rubbing in almost a thousand miles. That is a great tip for anyone looking into lowering one of these!
It's become amazing 🤩
:)
absolutely beautiful. currently planning on importing a celsior and running this exact setup with the wheels and coilovers. happened to stumble upon this video and it gave me so much confidence in the look. did you guys use spacers and approximately how low could you guys lower it without fenders pulled, scrubbing, tucking wires, and bottoming out
Dawg I’m currently planning on importing or buying a Celisor/Ls400 state side best of luck to you
@@muddydior7377 yo good luck to you too dawg
No rubbing and also no spacers. It hard to tell how far to go down, we just adjusted until it was as perfect as we could get.
I've seen a few throwing a steady spark in etx
Nice video
Thanks !
No negativity meant at all. Love the video, but hearing the same 30 second sample of music got a little tiring after the first 5 minutes, let alone a half hour video. Car looks great !
Completely agree and fixed on newer videos
How did you end up fixing the check engine for the cats I have the same issue
I would use coilovers. I love the stance.
is it still safe to drive freely or u have to becareful with bumps n shit cuz its lower
You have to be careful while driving, but not so careful that you can’t enjoy the car. You get used to it after a while.
I've got a flagship Car 2001 ls430 love this car and we got a 2005 ls430 on bags black on black
Hey guys, the Ls looks pretty good! just curious what are those wheel specs? they look 18x9.5 but whats the offset?
Thank you! That’s correct. They have a +22 offset.
Ls in nice good job. Question how is the ride from those megan coilovers
Compared to our other vehicles it rides really well.
@@drivemodenjoy thank you nice
This LS is MEAN!!!!
Yet so simple!
where in texas are you guys located? i have a manual swapped 95 ls400 i'd love to see yalls lol.
We’re in the Dallas area! What about you??
My aluminum hub rings have never "melted" to the wheel or hub. Because like a smart person I use antisieze. An area that's metal on metal you can't introduce a plastic piece...
Just speaking from experience! I’ve personally always used plastic without any issues. Working in a dealership I’ve seen a few nasty instances with metal hub rings. More power to the smart ones that install things correctly! 🙏
@drivemodenjoy Lol. Thanks for admitting I'm the smart one. Yeah like I said plastic on metal and metal will crack dissipate from heat.
what size tires?
225 40r18
Are these chrome or the silver wheels?
Machined Silver!
The gold emblems go for a lot of money mines have the gold
my mini copper s wheel + tyre where 23kg 17x7 205 45 and my cheap aftermarket 17x8.5 205.45 only 18kg a wheel. oe wheels new 1k, aftermarket 600 cost:D
Wheel specs please.
Wheel specs?
