Beautiful work! I'm getting the same radio later this week and will consider your method for a cleaner installation. I enjoyed the fact that you left a couple of slip-ups in the video. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's crimped a wire only to learn it didn't stay crimped! LOL And yeah, heat-shrink connectors and/or tubing over the wires is the way to go. I think your solution was perfect. I do have one question: did you have to bend the Mountains2Metal bracket so the angle was the same as the metal dashboard frame to which it is bolted? I couldn't get mine to line up and the bolts didn't want to thread very easily. I was afraid I was stripping them. I made sure the radio mount bracket was mounted in the proper orientation to the bracket, and that the bracket was oriented properly to the frame, but I could not get it to work. Considering returning the bracket.

I just ordered this rack, and it was backordered about a week, due to lack of parts. Putting stuff together and mounting it is never fun, but it doesn't help matters to have TrialRax quality control fail you after you paid quite a bit of cash. I expect better. By watching your video, I now know I need to inventory the parts before I dismantle anything on my Bronco. On a side note, I just watched a video recently where both front corners joints fractured during an overland trip and damaged the owner's vehicle. The channel tried to mitigate (so as not to jeopardize future sponsors I suppose) the catastrophic failure by explaining that the rack was loaded incorrectly and the route they took was very harsh. I am a little concerned to say the least. Time will tell.

I own 2 of these big boys, LS 400, both Gold package with 18 x. 9.5 all the way around, a 1995 navy blue gold package as well. With some stagger 18 × 9.5 front rear 18 x10.5. I enjoy driving both of these cars around the city or to work. I, too, gotta do some cleaning interior carpet cleaning myself, and I will also order the front and back. A 92 gold package edition, riding on 18x9.5 a 95 blue navy blue on stagger front 18x9.5 rear 18x10.5 with tanning enterior gold package edition as well. I guess I don't think the "issue" you had was that big a deal and certainly find the title of the video misleading. You got wrong parts, they acknowledged they made a mistake as humans often do, and then made it right. I just got my TrailRax rack this week and I have no issues. I certainly cannot describe an "oops, we'll get you the right parts" mistake as a "MASSIVE PROBLEM."🙄

absolutely beautiful. currently planning on importing a celsior and running this exact setup with the wheels and coilovers. happened to stumble upon this video and it gave me so much confidence in the look. did you guys use spacers and approximately how low could you guys lower it without fenders pulled, scrubbing, tucking wires, and bottoming out
