What a great video! We never made it to Yellowstone this summer, but I can't even imagine being out there in the winter! Thanks for sharing your experience! It looks beautiful!!
This looked like a really fun adventure, with amazingly beautiful snowy scenery. I'm sure your review would be very helpful for those considering doing this trip. It was honest and you gave some great tips. Fantastic!
What a great way to enjoy winter. Videos are really great. I appreciate your video as it reminds me to improve my own videos. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week and take care for now.
I love snowmobiling. I have only done it a few times and actually only been the driver once while we were in Sweden. Wow beautiful scenery. This looks amazing.
OK, now I really want to go to Yellowstone in winter! Thanks so much for explaining all the details because these are things I never thought of. I thought you would just drive up and get there, so thanks for describing what the options are. And by the way, loving the green screen!
Thank you! I was a little unsure about it so that makes me feel better, figured I would give it a try for this one though. And definitely do it if you can! I heard from someone that said they actually did a 4 day tour and they stayed at different lodges/accommodations throughout the park each night. And now I have a new goal for the bucket list lol! Maybe we should think on that!!
My husband & I went to Yellowstone in September 2021 & March 2023 snowmobiling !!! It was amazing !!! VERY WHORT IT !! We did full day to Old Faithful !! Great weather ! Amazing tour guide ( you can not go in snowmobiling without a tour by yourself )! They close for snowmobiling March 15 every year !!! 100 % worth it 😜👍🏻
My daughter and her boyfriend went snowmobiling in Yellowstone just this January. They had a blast, but said it was a bit bumpy and cold. They got to see the bison too. Great trip I’ll have to try some day.
You will! It's such an incredible experience. If you don't like the cold, summer is just as amazing! There's not other place like it. Snowmobiling is definitely much colder and bumpier than taking your own vehicle in the summer.
Now I so want to go! It seems so fun and cool. I’ve never been an outdoorsy type of girl, nor have I been a fan of the snow until I moved to Colorado so now I’m into trying all things snow! This was right on time 😅
I’ve never been to Yellow Stone but it’s on the list. I love the snow so would want to try the winter experience Would you recommend this excursion for kids or it might be too long for them?
I think it would depend on the age. Under 5 might be a little too young. Its a lot of time sitting, especially if they get uncomfortable in snow suits or in the cold. Between 5-8 I think it would depend on the kiddo. Anyone over 8 though I think should be good!
Loved the video. I am hoping you can do a separate video on your process to get a filming permit for this location. Loved the content but a video of our experience is not something we can easily share anymore without following the rules imposed by the National Parks. 😞
Hi Mark, thanks. I was on a paid private tour and went before the official ruling came in. From what I know anything previously filmed is ok. You may also may still be alright. You have to obtain a permit for purposes of commercial filming or filming with any larger camera gear. All of this was filmed with an IPhone. It's a gray area so you do need to be careful, but this was the last thing I read: "Due to the lawsuit, the national parks changed their laws. Filming in parks for free is allowed with gear limited to one tripod and to what fits in your backpack. For now." The newer law may change that but as of right now the court ruling still applies and as long as your gear and "crew" (which I think can mean your family if they take part in the filming process) is under 5 people then you are ok. Interim rules are still in effect so unless you are a major production you can post your videos.
@@LifesSweetJourney Bummer, we called National Park Services and were told not to post any video on youtube regardless of the camera used (even our phone / gopro videos) without the permit. Even if not monetized they informed me it's commercial use since RUclips makes money of my videos. Be careful, not sure if they are going to enforce this.
@@pixelsimage Thank you for letting me know! It's so frustrating. I have heard so many different things. Even park services and rangers give different answers.
Thank you! I have now seen that. This was recorded before the law went into effect and it seems to be more of a media issue for those looking to make money of of larger formats and filming. It seems that as long as it's a phone or something small with a crew smaller than 5 (which apparently even your family can be considered "crew") it is still allowed, but I am definitely looking more into it before I do any more filming of posting from the parks.
Have you been snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park? Did you think it was worth it? What would be one tip you would tell people?
This is exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you for being so thorough and detailed. The video was simple and straightforward. Loved it!
Glad it was helpful! Hope you get to enjoy a tour
What a great video! We never made it to Yellowstone this summer, but I can't even imagine being out there in the winter! Thanks for sharing your experience! It looks beautiful!!
It really was incredible! Completely different world than the summer. Though summer is great too! Hope you get to make it there soon!

It was definitely an awesome winter adventure!! Thanks for watching. Have a great week!
Snowmobiling is so much fun. We had one when I was a kid and lived in Michigan. This area yall were in was so beautiful.
Oh, I bet it was so cool having access to one all the time!! I grew up in Florida so winter activities always seem so fun to me!!
I love snowmobiling. I have only done it a few times and actually only been the driver once while we were in Sweden. Wow beautiful scenery. This looks amazing.
Oh wow!! I bet Sweden was amazing!! I drove some too, but didn't get videos then.
I’ve never been snowmobiling but this looks like so much fun!
It really is a great time!! Hope you get to go one day.
Such great info!! Thinking of doing this Jan 2025. I Have been there in summer...bucket list to do in the winter.
It's so great! Have an amazing time, really hope you do it.

SO, so worth it!! Definitely a great experience. Glad you have gotten to do it!!
Would be doing it this season with two top good to know that its well managed
Awesome! Have the best time. Yes, very well managed and we had a blast.

When I looked at prices it was way cheaper than in Vermont. Their website paid $285 for just two hours and $40 rental of clothing.
Now I so want to go! It seems so fun and cool. I’ve never been an outdoorsy type of girl, nor have I been a fan of the snow until I moved to Colorado so now I’m into trying all things snow! This was right on time 😅
Oh man!! I hope you love it! Snow adventures can be so much fun- just stay bundled and warm. Colorado is beautiful. Is this your first winter there?
Curious about footwear. Obviously need some insulated boots of some kind. Do u bring your own or are there some available for rent?
They do have some available to rent I am pretty sure, but I just wore my insulated hiking boots.

also better check the laws if your filming a RUclips video in Yellowstone. Believe there is a new law that requires you to get a permit for each video
