I am about to do my first wedding in two days and seriously I am so confident after listening and watching your videos. Thank you so very much. Much much appreciate you!
Mark! You Rock! I am getting ready to do my first (and hopefully last!) wedding this weekend. I am running through several of your videos again as I cross my T's and dot my I's. When I started this process, I was not comfortable doing this... AT ALL. But with your help, I am confident that I can not only do it, but maybe even knock it out if the park - thanks to you! I know I don't have to pay you for RUclips videos, but I feel I still owe you one. So here we go... PEOPLE! If you don't have a good candidate for an officiant for your wedding... Mark is the guy...PERIOD. Call him, hire him, and pay him whatever he asks. You will only do this once, so don't cut corners here. Do you want the best? Well, here he is - his name is Mark Allan Groleau.
Dear friend Mark-I call you friend because your sharing your experience on these videos is so helpful to us who will be officiating a wedding for the first time! Just subscribed, can't wait for the next new videos!!! :-)
I just want to say THANK YOU !!! I'm fixin to do my FIRST WEDDING in a few weeks and I'm going through all your videos and taking notes and to be honest with you at first I was nervous but now I actually feel very confident. You have awesome videos and give GREAT ADVICE !!! Again, Thank you
My favorite thing is the provision that you make for the (very likely) possibility that something could go wrong (including a dog running through the ceremony - lol) - it relieves that tension we all get as a participant (speaking from experience officiating at ceremonies) at the thought that we might mess up this special occasion by something we may or may not say or do - nice touch Mark - this whole series makes me want to be a wedding officiant ... just not at this late stage of my life - lol
Thank you very much for your posting these videos! Your videos were very helpful in making my first officiating experience very successful! You make great suggestions and plus your 10 step format keeps it running smoothly! Thank you again!
For an outdoor wedding, I would assume you run a spot check on the upcoming weather forecast. Have you ever had to have the BM/MOA hold an umbrella over top the couple?
Thanks for this and other videos. I am excited to officiate my first wedding. And, nervous! I am sure I will watch this video again before the big day!
I took Mark's course but if I recall correctly the first step to check the pages wasn't in it. 5 minutes before I officiated I decided to check cuz I had the same gut feeling. I was missing the last 3 pages! I would have been so embarrased! At least my script is in the cloud so I could have opened it on my cell phone. I would add to make sure your own phone is silent. I forgot to but thankfully it didnt ring.
Thank you! This is very helpful. Much of what you discussed has been covered by the couple and their planner. I appreciate the quick response and the options you provide for greetings. This is a trying time especially for those who had planned a wedding before covid. I feel more confident now with you insight, thanks!
Great videos! One question I have is what kind of padfolio do you use to keep your speech pages in? Is it a standard 8.5x11 size? Does it have a 3-Ring binder built inside?
I'm officiating my first wedding soon, do I have to bring anything with me to the wedding? the license? or anything important? Your videos are great, thank you so much for the help!
I have been to many weddings. I have never seen anyone sign papers during the ceremony. Can this be done after the ceremony but before the presentation of the couple?
It is never done in the U.S. like that ... it is handled right after or after grand entrance or during dinner. I am an officiant and have been to more weddings than I can count. The whole ending explained on this channel is nothing I’ve seen in the U.S. but could just be a Canada thing
You got it. I've spent the last couple hours checking out your videos and want you to know it's really helping a lot. I've done a couple of really small weddings with maybe ten to twenty people and what I've written has always been fine but next month I'm doing one with maybe 200 plus and I'm kinda freaking out. I think going by your layout I'll feel a lot more comfortable and confident so again, thank you!
One other thing to check. Make sure the wedding party spits out or swallows their gum. Nothing worse that chomping gum in front of 200 people. Just looks bad.
I am about to do my first wedding in two days and seriously I am so confident after listening and watching your videos. Thank you so very much. Much much appreciate you!
How did you do?
Mark does a great job covering all the bases on how to officiate a wedding. Thanks!
Thanks, Paul!

Your videos have been very helpful! I am officiating my grandson's wedding and very nervous but the videos help. Thank you!
Great guide! One thing I would add for me is to look in the mirror and make sure all is good (for me step 7).
Exstremley helpful videos!!!! :-)
This is great!
Thanks for this and other videos. I am excited to officiate my first wedding. And, nervous! I am sure I will watch this video again before the big day!

Hi Mark just starting my training in North Wales United Kingdom and I was wondering if you have had someone take ill or faint and how to handle it
Thank you
Do I need to notarized the married certificate? What I have to do after the wedding? Is my first time I need help! 😆
Question? Where do you recommend getting ordained online?
Great videos! One question I have is what kind of padfolio do you use to keep your speech pages in? Is it a standard 8.5x11 size? Does it have a 3-Ring binder built inside?
thank you!
Good info Thanks
Question.. Is the officiant supposed to deliver the paperwork for the couples license?
Thanks!
Hi, May I have a script of your wedding ceremony.. Looking for ways to improve mine. Ty
You are God sent
Doing a wedding renewal today
I’ve never done a renewal, myself - just a wedding guy. :-) All the best to you!
@@unboringwedding neither have I but it shouldn’t be too different right?🤷🏾♂️
How do we know the order of the ceremony?
Thanks for your question and for watching! I have a video on the traditional 10 part order of ceremony here! ruclips.net/video/To-USbFwo44/видео.html

I have seen the lighting of candles and signing of papers during the ceremony, but after the vows. More than once. I am in the US.
Bruh, clean your lens or get rid of that dot on the wall. BTW, really enjoying your videos. Thank you!

Happy to hear it, thanks.
Jeez, what would you do if either of them said, ‘No,’ I’ve changed my mind? Seriously, what would you do? 👍🏼
I don't understand what you are saying??? 123...
Great tips ( I am stealing your dog running through line)
