    Re; humour, I have been performing weddings for 13 years with well over 1000 ceremonies completed. In all of those I have used humour and never had a complaint, in fact it’s why I do as many weddings as I do.

    I have some generic scripts and some religious. I give them to the couple and let them choose the form and structure, but I save a few items for a surprise later.

    as someone who left before I signed...yea, that was tough but not the end of the world either.
