ELF 26 LAR is removable and transportable (trailer or 40’ container).
The body is "sandwich type" made (means fibreglass + PVC foam + fibreglass), all Lloyd's or/and DNV-GL certified materials.
For osmotic protection we will use neopentyl glycol gelcoat for entire boat and vinyl-ester resin as a first layer in exposed areas.
The boat is category C.

This is the basic price is for a READY TO SAIL boat as follows:

Hand laid up in GRP to Richard Woods Designs specified layup with white gelcoat finish.
Hull topsides and decks are of sandwich construction using PVC contour foam.
(gelcoat, resin, glass fibre and foam are Lloyd’s certif)

Interior GRP tray with bunk bases and sole, three buoyancy compartments throughout the hull.
Single berth with stowage beneath at each end of hull.

Hey Stephen, looking forward to more sculling videos. Are you maintaining your fitness on the erg during the pandemic?
Not really. I have had my boat on the roof of my car and done quite a lot of sculling when river conditions allowed. Always prefer to scull. But have done some ergs.
I think the shot of the cat going downwind may be an Elf rather than a Strider?
It doesn't matter which. They are both designed by Richard Woods.

The other Woods designs had daggerboards. Daggerboards or other lee foils should be included on performance boats.
Does ELF had a daggerboard option?
Well observed and YES if you want daggerboards you can have them. The boat I reviewed in Romania is the LAR version of the ELF 26 which has benefits for cruising. It's up to you which version you order.
