KTM only removed features that are either nice-to-have, gimmicks or downright useless. This is an excellent value proposition compared to the original 390 Adventure! The colour TFT screen is nice to have but is not essential. Most of the time you will be looking at your surroundings and your trajectory, not the console. Quick shifter is great for the race track, unnecessary on the road and even the dirt. Cornering ABS is a good feature but regular ABS gets the job done too. One should be familiar with how the bike behaves when braking mid-corner. Traction control is not needed even on the standard variant. Adjustable levers are nice but on my 390 Duke, I don't find much of a difference in various positions. Tyres - The stock Metzeler tyres were nice but if you want to go off road, you have to change them. These MRF tyres are fine. Suspension - Are you sure the suspension on the 250 and 390 Adventure were different to begin with? I think both are open cartridge, split function.

Are you sure about your claims?? Because as per my view your feedback of KTM not being refined as compared to new RE is coming due to the fact that KTM engines are short-geared as compared to the RE engines and that doesn't mean they're unrefined! Even I've KTM Duke 200 BS6 2020 model and clocked 18-19k kilometres on odo and believe me it's becoming more and more refined by running more and more! The buziness and stress comes only due to the fact it's short-geared and that too will not bother you much in any of the rev ranges!
@@NKSSVlogs wow that's a new theory. Then why Yamahas and Suzukis make refined engines??? FYK, Long strokes engines are supposed to be less refined... Take any examples, old REs, Harleys etc. Btw, I ride a CB350. I compared it with REs coz RE has improved a lot... And I guess u understand why didn't I compared the 390 adv with CB350 or any Honda
Coming to Duke 200, it's a much much refined than 390 adv. Not as much as Honda, Suzuki or Yamaha though. I clocked 43K on my CB350 in 2yrs, and it's still exceptionally refined. Yes, you may say that CB350 set the bar so high that very few bikes feels refined to me.
@@devntube first of all, if you're now comparing the refinement of KTM with the Japanese counterparts then you must be joking because whether it's American or European brands like Benelli, BMW, Triumph, etc, even they're not near to the Japanese technology forget about the KTM which gives more emphasis upon the racing (that's why KTM has won the Dakar Rally consecutively for the 19th time)! Secondly, you're now comparing it with the age old technologies of the REs and Harleys which along with other brands lacked the technologies at that time (like, you seriously think CI engines of RE can be compared with UCE and J-Series engines of RE??)! I don't have any deep idea about the 390 Adv but talking about my own Duke 200 BS6 it's tractable on 6th gear even when you're at 30+ speeds and I bet you do this even on their 150cc bikes like Gixxer 150 and FZS 150 you will come to know what the shorter gearing means! Talking about your bike, even I've test ridden it at every condition and I agree with your claim that it's the most refined motor in the market and even I thought of purchasing it but cancelled that plan due to the fact that it has quite taller gearing due to which you've to change the gears a lot of times when you're within the city limits and I don't get much time to go on long tours but be within the city limits 90-95% of the times and when I'm cruising with my own bike on highway even with a normal traffic I hardly downshift from the 6th gear i.e., I can stay at the highest gear most of the times due to which I easily get atleast 37-38 kmpl when riding upto mid range and bit above that!
@@devntube from what I've to agree the most is from your very last point i.e., you're owning one of the most refined motorcycle that's why you're feeling the vibes from the motorcycles of other brands more than the other riders!

I am waiting for the comparison i just got the adventure 390 need check if i waited i could have saved some money
Hey Suhas, even we're excited!
Maybe they could have used this opportunity to work on lowering stock seat height.
Good news for you: They have already launched a new kit to make seat height 835mm now. Just 10mm higher than xpulse.
PS. The seat height of ktm ADV used to be 855mm
Top end version
2024 ktm rc updated look???
That will not be 2024, 2025 maybe.
Spoke wheels ktm adventure release date in Bharat 🇮🇳?
Hopefully next month..
Ktm feared the arrival of Himalayan 450 so they launched this.
Dont think so it's due to Himalayan 450...KTM is going to launch the spoke wheel version of ADV 390 in coming months with adjustable suspension and that might be more costly than the current variant... So to make the ADV 390 more affordable they launched the X variant
Yeah, that is quite likely. The Himalayan 450 will be a direct rival to the 390 Adventure and will have better off road hardware.
Firm suspension
KTM needs to work on their refinement first. Adv 390 feels like a tractor. Even REs are now far smoother than this.
Himalaya is better in price stability comfort etc
This will more likely be for fast touring.
And after all fuel economy
Its mostly targeted for adventure touring. Besides it will help people to own the KTM brand.
Yes, making the brand and bike more accessible.
E20 Bullet 350 launch date???
It has been delayed, first the Himalayan 450 will be launched.
I would sell my 250 adventure and buy latest 390 adventure. Not X.
Ktm 390 x with traction control
they keep removing more features and hiking the price.
They reduced the price with the X.
390 adventure x
Give it a spoke wheel (tube wala) and reduce at least 10k or more...nobody is going to buy the Himalayan
Can you change it to affordable not cheap... remember nano
Shit man i feel regret to buy gt 650 i should wait for this 390 x😢
Why though? The Conti GT 650 is a beautiful bike.
No X, always Full meals😊
Still a new jumla 😂. Meanwhile european version comes with spoke wheels with better off-road dynamics.
Apna time ayega..
