- Vintage video from the archives of pop duo "bounce the ocean" and single Wasting My Time. Shot entirely in Seattle, the week-long filming in 1991 created traffic jams and radio call-in havoc culminating with police pulling us over for "driving while playing a grand piano and guitar on a public highway without proper permits". Man, those were the days!! Sorry about the ancient sound quality but this one has been through many transfers and convertions. Still, I hope it's entertaining (especially my hairstyle)! Enjoy!
Excelente tema! Me sorprende la cantidad de gente en Argentina que comenta este tema. Recuerdo cuando esperaba con el dedo en el boton de REC de la cassetera, mientras escuchaba radio ASPEN 102.3 o FM HORIZONTE 94.3 jajaja!!! muchisimo antes del MP3!!! Otro tema impresionante de esta banda es IT JUST GETS BETTER, se los recomiendo. Otro saludo de Argentina a los autores e intérpretes!

Yo era una de esos,y aun conservo algunos Casettes como prueva de esos años,recien hoy logre encontrar este tema,por que no sabia como se escribe en ingles

Hola Hawk ¡Que aventura haber grabado este clip en 1991! Esta canción la escuche por primera vez cuando tenía 20 años en el año 1991 hasta 1993 que deje de escuchar la radio, en esa epoca era FM Horizonte 94.3 (Buenos Aires - Argentina) ahora ya no existe, pasaban la mayoría de las canciones de "Bounce the ocean" anotaba en un cuaderno el nombre de la banda y las canciones ¡Pero no existia internet para buscar mas informaciòn" lo bueno es que tu música me acompaño muchas noches de soledad porque mi trabajo era cuidar una casa en una zona de viviendas para vacaciones, pero durante el año estaban vacias. this is a great son man, congratulations. My brother heard it last week on the radio here in Argentina and was a bit mad trying to look after the song's name or interpreter, I did a research on the net but it really takes me a lot to find it, not too many clues on the net, finally after trying several times I get your video. I never heard this before and I really like it and ejoy it, cheers.

This music give me recalls from very beautiful moments of my life. By the time you played this song I was living in Argentina, I tell you it was a hit, FM radios (specially Aspen) played it all day long. It doesn't matter if you have a million watchers or a thousand, for me and the rest of the watchers you made a big thing. Thank you very much!!!
This brings back memories. My brother an I were there for this video. 3:17 into the video I was the one in the god awful neon pink hat and jacket pulling on the piano. I miss you guys did you do anything after that album I could find, you were amazing singers.

Glad you enjoyed it! Fun times! Especially the gas work parks sequences!! Although being pulled over by the police on the Alaskan Way viaduct was kind of hilarious. The cops were wondering why we were driving around town with a grand piano on the back of the truck! Reasonable question! Luckily there was no law to speak of that forbid that so we were let go!!! Cheers! :)

I used to LOVE this band/song/self titled album. I just found my tape cassette insert autographed by Hawk and John! They were adorable guys and so friendly and flirty!

Gracias Nestor igual yo.A veces escuchar estas cosas...no se bien cómo,pero me mandan a esa hermosa época y me dejo llevar x las emociones( ya sé q no debo pero...).Hay una frase en esta canción q dice: this place is not my home,I'm heading somewhere I don't belong,traducida sería: este lugar no es mi hogar,estoy yendo a algún lugar donde no pertenezco...Me mata esa parte de la canción q además la refleja muy bien en el video.Que grupazo x Dios!!Muchas veces la escuchaba en el bondi cuando viajaba,me ponía cerca del chofer para escucharla mejor.Q épocas como dije!!jaja

This was the first rock video I ever directed. These guys created an amazing album that kind of got overlooked among the grunge craze. Really talented writers.
