I got my chuppa chups this week! They are slightly larger and certainly fancier than Dum Dums. When I was a small child, there was a local drug store that had Dum Dum's for 1 cent each. this was like, 1973, mind. The best are the mystery flavour - all the are is, when they are switching the machine from one flavour to another, the first x amount of suckers that contain some of both flavours are labled as "mystery." So it's never quite the same twice :D
My Cheryl's Big Box is still in transit - the "mystery" item included with that is a picture of a cow with it's tongue out in the Shop app :D Hoping my mystery item isn't a whole arssed a cow - would scare my cats :D

The BMW that has been replaced with what is basically an awd mini cooper S is the m140i and the m135i. M140i is a beast though with the same engine as the new supras, so let's face it the new ones were never going to compete.

That’s right boys MTOW or Maximum Turd Off Weight is critical for the performance of the aircraft that’s why pilots always make sure that MTOW isn’t exceeded otherwise it would be a bit of a shitty situation!
As a engineer... 19:00 What we have is cooling compartment to store the galleys due to the meals. When you walk around the aircraft you can see all the ovens. We do not heat the trolley, the heating process is done in the ovens. Otherwise you wouldn't like to have your "sheet" food tasting like burnt plastic... :)
Forget Prime, can you guys make an MCM drink that tastes like Tofu juice with a hint of page-up toe?

Lol had to go back and rewatch the wastegate segment to see what the fuss was about and yeah Marty does initially put the old spring back in but the very next shot does show the smaller old spring on the bench.
Finally some common sense. The internet blew up over it.
I was shouting at him at the time but saw he'd swapped it back out for the tightening up shot so all was right again with the world!
I have a friend that works at a company in Germany that specialises in car production lines and they are full on working and building the new factory lines for the electric cars in Sweden. They recently did the Volkswagen ones. So yes, it is indeed happening.
It used to be a thing in Hobart to go up Mt Wellington and come back with a snow person on your car didnt know it was illegal now 🤣🤣 shout out from Tasmania!

Speaking of numbering systems, I owned a Volvo 164. Beautiful car -- so nice when it worked. Absolutely the LEAST dependable car ever owned, out of maybe 35 or so. Such good seats! Such good turning circles! Such a nice design. And it left me and my mates stranded time after time after TIME. Finally I sold it to the tow truck driver for the price of tram fare home. So much for numbering systems.

m135i is the car i think you are talking about, but the 1M from 2011 is the nicest modern BMW that isn't an M3 or M5. the M1 was a car made in the 70s (i think) and by the time they finished it, the rules for the races it was going to enter had changed the rules.

The 135 and the 335 got renamed to 140 and 340 respectively, the 140 did lose the 6 cylinder but the 340 retained its 6 banger.

I think the reason snow men on cars is illegal in Tassie (is it? Officially?) is probably because people drive up the mountain behind Hobart when it snows and then drive down the mountain and through the middle of town with the snow on their car causing all kinds of risks to road users like eg. snow being a projectile as the car turns, road hazard etc.

I spent two years at TAFE dong a pre-apprenticeship to try and score a L.A.M.E. apprenticeship. Ansett collapsed halfway through the second year and every single job in the country disappeared for years. I actually ended up becoming a licensed heavy duty diesel technician. I haven't actually done that in a LONG time either.

In reality though there is usually a factory unit near the airport that makes all the meals and they are just warmed up. You can see them loading this as you’re waiting to board.

I worked in a factory that made the orange and poppyseed muffins for quantas. Yeah that was 20 years ago, but they tasted as bad on the ground as they did in a plane. My job was sprinkling the orange rind on top....
