Thank you so much for the mention Nikki! I hope you guys enjoyed the cookies!! 🥰 I got my kitchen aid as a Christmas gift in 2015! It’s still running strong and I’ve gotten so much use out of it! Definitely a worthwhile investment and it’s so versatile!
Nikki, I always look forward to whatever you post! I would like to see more of how you are adapting to winter with your wardrobe, and if you feel comfortable, I would be interested in how you prepare for Christmas from a Christian perspective. I admire how you weave your religious beliefs into your videos in a subtle way.
Hi Nikki, I've been wanting a kitchen aid mixer for a long time in hunter green, however I don't bake cakes & cookies as much as I used to. Those cookies look amazing!. My all time favorite cookie are linzer and biscotti, but as of late I've been enjoying chocolate coconut macaroons. Those Chairs are a great find and the color is beautiful!. Your Mom has great taste and is very resourceful. Happy decorating!.
I would enjoy seeing more videos of your hospitality! It's a weakness for me, and I'm trying to improve both my attitude and my events. My husband is an elder in our church, and he wants to start hosting a monthly small group in our home. Your videos about serving others are so inspiring! Thank you!
Hello Nikki! So happy you are doing Vlogmas! Would love to see more videos on home decorating, baking, wardrobe, and makeup. In the spring and summer would love to see gardening videos. ❤
I love seeing your home, organizing, decluttering, paints and colors you have in your home. And anything you can do to help us make our houses more like homes. Thank you!
We used to host frequently, for several years. We would have drop in overnight guests, guests that stayed ror a few days to a few weeks, dinner guests, and playdates. I invested in 2 large upright baskets for all the misc things. They looked like well thought out decor, tucked into a corner with a plant on top of one and a plant on the other, and they held a lot of things. I could tell my husband and little children to " tidy up and whatever doesnt have a home, chunk in the basket!" 😂 I laugh about it now, but it was actually very brilliant. Life was so busy back then. I need to make the time to curl my hair. Ive gotten so accustomed to my fast and easy, givson girl hairstyle that i just dont MAKE the time to do curls and other styles. Thank you for reminding me about hot roller curls. I need to invest in a new hot roll set. Love your coat! So beautiful!
Hello Nikki…! Just happy to see and hear you…! No other RUclipsr motivated me to get up and clean up the house and just add up some inexpensive things to improve the living space…! I really appreciate your talents and modesty…! I live in a small country in Europe and people here simply cannot understand the waste of money in exuberance and luxury of some content creators out there. All the best to you and your family!
Hello Nikki, My mom bought a Kitchenaid mixer when I was 12 and it still runs great today 44 years later; the mixers costs about the same now as when I bought one 32 years ago: great investment!
Thank you for bringing up the fact that life in December is so much more than Christmas decorations, gifts and other things that the internet is overflowing with. Just yesterday my husband and I were talking about how important it is to be mindful with all the activities and expectations at this time of year. I really love Christmas and everything that comes with it: the gatherings, the concerts, baking, scents, natural decor, finding gifts for loved ones, crafting and so on... But we both notest that it has already become too intense even though we have really tried to slow down. This is also a time of very precious but heartbreaking memories for our family, and it makes me long for peace and breathing room even more. What I actually would love to do more is engage in charity and also take time to visit and meet with people in need or those that are lonely. To do the practical things, not just donating money. I admire my mother-in-law who is a great example of this. She visits the elderly (though she herself is over 70), participates in all kinds of charities and enjoys it so much. One year she knitted over 50 pairs of woollen socks and sent them and other Christmas presents to orphan children in Romania. And besides that she she knits for the whole family and creates the coziest Christmas celebration for us when we visit her. She is such a blessing and I hope to become more like her❤ And she would feel so embarrassed if she knew how I am bragging about her here...😊 It is so encouraging to see you sharing how you also open up your home and show hospitality. It would also be interesting to see and hear how you recharge your batteries in this often so busy season. Your thoughts on having a simplified life and being less materialistic is really one of the key things. That's what I also want: the simplicity and room for the things that truly matter as we are celebrating the birth of our dear Lord and Saviour. God bless you Nikki, and please, be kind to yourself when filming and posting ❤ P.S. The green chairs are SO beautiful!😊
Hi Nikki. What a beautiful video Thankyou. I absolutely love your green chairs and how perfectly they match the tree 😊😊. The day you have planned sounds amazing. You look fabulous in your green outfit. Green seems to be a very elegant colour for you. Enjoy. With love Bev xx ✝️
Nikki, my suggestion is to share your observations of your adjustments to living in a seasonal place. Our connection to the seasons are one of the most grounding activities God has given us. Having lived in several different locations in my 67 years, there’s always more than meets the eye when settling in. I think it would be great if you can share your observations of the changing seasons and what you find welcoming about the differences and what has been hard to adjust too. For example, I moved from “White Christmas, pumpkin pie Pennsylvania” to Houston Texas 😮my first winter was a huge culture shock. Whatever was working in Pa was unattainable in Texas. I know personally you have inspired me to return to journaling, writing letters, creating little paintings and learning to use wax seals. When you would share your thoughts as you wrote with the beautiful gold ink in the glorious book you created, I was inspired to write my own thoughts and observations in a way that really gave me joy to be documenting exactly what was going on. Soooo, I would love to see you writing in one of your beautiful books telling us what your new community looks like as the seasons change. Sending many positive vibes for a beautiful month of December
Love the things you’re doing in your new home everything is looking so good May I suggest you cook your beans in a crockpot and you don’t have to worry about them as much thanks for another great video ❤
Hey, Nikkie! I am always looking forward to your videos! I have been wanting to get more into painting. I have wanted to ever since I was a child. I took one art class in college, and it had a little painting towards the end, but it was mainly into drawing and charcoal. A video on painting with watercolors, or some kind of painting, etc. for beginners would be much appreciated! You know, like what kind of paper works best, brushes, paint, techniques. Like a little art lesson/advice session sorta. You are an amazing artist! Also, just keep doing what you do. Making your home more lovely and functional. It helps stir our thoughts for our own homes. God bless you! Loving the green chairs with the Christmas 🎄 tree! So elegant❤
I always enjoy your videos...everyday living is often a great plan, but for you the creator keep it simple and real, 90 minutes volgmases are to much for me personally to sit through, if all creators could keep it real and in an actual watchable yime frame like you do, it would be simply great. Going over to look at marigold manor now like you suggested. Have a great day, hope the bean soup was delish.
I just looked at that cookie video from Marigold Manner. Yes, i was blessed with a Kitchen Aid when u first got married, can be used for multiple things. Love that you are doing vlogmas! I was wondering, does your family do any service projects this time of the year or in general? If so, I would love to hear about them.
Thank you for respecting the lady in the congregation. I understand her, and I have stopped going to church due to the overwhelming perfumes and colognes leading to anaphylaxis. Thank you for sharing another year of vlogmas!
Nikki, when it comes to cooking beans, the slow cooker is your best friend! You can put in all the ingredients (except salt) in the pot, put on low, and d go to sleep. It will be ready in the morning and you can season with salt any freshen with some fresh herbs. Please try it. You won’t regret it!!
It aeems you have seamlessly moved your lifestyle and your channel's work from Nevada to Utah. I am looking forward to watching you adapt to a four seasons environment and the inspiration you provide for us all. It is always good to see someone who is new to my everyday experience gather resources and employ processes that bring a fresh perspective. Happy Vlogmas! See you soon. 💖
I don't celebrate holidays but I always enjoy your videos. I want to tell you that your coat is gorgeous! I really like the decorating style your choosing for your new home. Still very feminine and classy but totally different from the Las Vegas home.
Hi Nikki. Been following your channel since the summer. We have very similar styles, so it was so exciting when I finally found someone close in age who loves what I love. I also sent a quick message to Marygold Manors site. As far as any suggestions for content, I just love how you decide to decorate and make your new home a home. I have lived in my cape for twenty years and STILL am constantly changing rooms functions and still trying to find what works for me and my family. It’s a constant struggle. So, I love watching others for creative ideas.
The KitchenAid mixer will change your life! Also, to avoid that crease in your hair, when you put the clip on your roller, slide it down where it's like at the bottom of the roller if that makes sense. I use foam rollers, but I think it would work the same.
Loving this series. Could you tell me if you use some product on your hair before hot rollers and also what brand of rollers. Your hair is so lovely. I like the “bounce”! 💕
❤love the new chairs! They are perfect for that space! Also congrats on the kitchen aide mixer! I’ve had mine for 23 years…. Hubs bought it for me at this exact time of year when our first daughter was born, my mom was here staying to help me and we were baking Christmas cookies and he surprised me!! I don’t know if you remember the commercials (I think they were chex mix maybe) but it was set in the kitchen and she says “moms make the holidays special and now it’s my turn to be mom” or something like that! Anyway its such a fond memory and the mixer was such a splurge for us… but it’s been a workhorse in the kitchen.. I have lots of attachments and I use it all the time!!! ♥️. As far as videos go…. Even just daily struggles and triumphs of keeping the house clean and lovely during the holidays is inspiring to me. I’m going over to check out the cookie video!!! Happy December!!!! ❤❤❤ Let us REJOICE in it!
Those chairs are so beautiful, what a deal! I had your lady of the house books on my wish list so my mom is getting me volume one and my mother in law is getting me volume two. I can’t wait to read them and have them on display. 😊

That’s so good to know! Thank you, Julie 🎄
The new mixers have some plastic pieces in the motor. If you end up breaking one, a new metal one can be ordered and changed out for under $10!

Ooohhh!!! Kitchen Aides are SO useful for things beyond baking also. Shredding cooked beef or chicken, mixing meatloaf for two ideas.

Those chairs are so beautiful, what a deal! I had your lady of the house books on my wish list so my mom is getting me volume one and my mother in law is getting me volume two. I can’t wait to read them and have them on display. 😊
Also, the kitchenaid is so great for shredding meat too. It’s one of my favorite ways to use it. I hope you love yours.
Hi Nikki, I love your videos”new” green chairs! You got such a great deal on them, too.
I remember your Nikki Bump hair days!!! As someone who can have migraines triggered by strong scents, I love your thoughtfulness ❤❤❤
Hello Nikki, You look lovely as always! Can you share your current perfumes, hairspray, and hot rollers, please!
It’s been awhile but you had shared that you were wearing Bright Crystals by Versace and I had to have some and I love it!!❤
Will do in an upcoming video, thank you for the request! I still use the Bright Crystal too🎄
Okay but where did you buy your coat??? So stunning!! 😍
Great video thank you for sharing 🌹👍🌹👍
Nikki, I’d love to see you do an video on your paired down wardrobe
