I would like to add a quick correction that this video is primarily talking about the last 5-stars of each version - Kuki is the only exception to that, and was mentioned mainly because she appeared in the same patch as Yelan. Heizou and Kirara were the last 4-star characters of their versions. Heizou is meh but kirara is actually a good alternative shielder over Baizhu if you don’t wanna pull for him.
Shinobu being good with Dendro was actually subtly hinted at in her Burst description. It reads "This was originally a technique used in weeding and in ritual prayers for the yearly harvest". That was really clever.

Venti had the first rerun in 1.4, almost everyone pulled on him, so the Anemo support slot was occupied. 2. There were almost no opponents that Venti could do anything against, he was like a cheat code, which is why Kazuha was seen as a worse alternative. That changed from Inazuma onwards, where more and more opponents came, against which Venti is powerless, but Kazuha is excellent. 3. Inazuma and the release/leaks of many new characters & weapons
I really love that I got all these characters in their first banner, so that I don’t start deliberating on their reruns especially when they paired with another broken character, the best was Baizhu I didn’t want to build Baizhu before, but when I got furina, I built my Baizhu instantly and till date he is my most used character in the abyss alongside kazuha and furina, and now I have pulled Emilie cus I know that she would be buffed in natlan
I got Baizhu because of Cyno and boy am I glad I did it. I use him in a lot of teams with Furina. Outside of that, I just use him in a lotta dendro comps in general.
People didn’t see the value in Kazuha because “Sucrose exists” and people did not value mono element teams that much, as well as the convenient positional grouping. Then came Yelan. People constantly said Xinqiu exists until they realized having two Xinqius is a great thing, especially when dendro released. Then came Baizhu. People constantly compared him to Yaoyao and even said his overheals aren’t needed, until Furina came along. All of these characters, except Emilie, has one thing in common. They have a similar 4 star counterpart, and basically enabled the “oh, it’s like I can have this great 4 star on both sides” mindset. Now, we have Emilie. Wonder how people will start noticing her value going forward. Emilie not having a 4 star counterpart makes her even more valuable for the teams she will eventually fill her role in. Having great sub DPS can be another form of supportive utility, because you’re still assisting in clearing faster at the end of the day.

@@RKNancy yeah but try to clear today's abyss with only 1.x without Kazuha and then with him. Every region has some kind of powerspike which the last character helps with.
Just saying kazuha was underrated because 87% enemies back in 1.0 would get insta sucked into venti ult. Also em for swirls were nerfed so his damage was kinda poo, venti also go 15 er for the team instead of kazuhas 40% dmg bonus and teams back then needed his er cause they were shodily built. Also people doomposted him because they wanted to cope and say he was bad to have an excuse not to pull. Yelan is still a downgrade to xinqiu c6 but is a great character because xinqiu is a great character. Baizhu was basicly useless if you pulled for meta, people had the right to easily skip him, cyno didn't even want him in his best team. While yes baizhu was an upgrade over yao yao the upgrade was kinda small so people just skipped. Come 4.2 and what made baizhu different from yao yao ie offeild heals became more valuable than onfeilding a healer such as in niluo. (Yao yao overhealed more than baizhu, she has 130% hp muliplier to the whole team at c0 while biazhu has only 48% alhtough his healing was more easily attainable plus his buffs reulted in about 50 em to the whole team for dendro reactions). What made baizhu special was his confort and yao yao was better in most senarios where they competed. Only did when furina come out was baizhu bis in cyno teams and his offeild healing was usable. Emily is a sidegrade often downgrade to xiangling even in her niche use cases, single target xiangling has double hits which are able to be used on 68% of all bosses, aoe xiangling is way better. Mono pyro, oof xianglin buffs the entire team by providing 15% res and 15% pyro bonus making her better depending on how much investment you have on the main carry. Even in kinche teams xiangling furina bennet beats out emily variations. Tldr: kazuha underated and strong yelan strong average impressions baizhu no real use or benefit until furina came out emily currently a strict xiangling downgrade and just wait till she could get buffed

I never doubt myself ever, i have all of these characters and i always see past the community's remarks on such characters. I remember watching mtashed hate on kazuha and was dumbfounded becoz duh he's obv great. Anyhow, I just love that I have them. Can't wait for Natlan.
I have always pulled on these end of patch characters on their release but Emilie is an exception. While it is blatantly obvious she will get much better teams with Kinich and Mavuika, she's still a niche character that lacks the versatility the others have. Emilie is like Nilou, she's strong and irreplaceable in her niche but her niche itself is just a "play if you like it" thing. And just like how Nilou had to wait for Nahida to complete her best team, Emilie has to wait for the pyro archon. But while these characters are dependent on their archons, the archons themselves won't necessarily have them in their best teams. Thats why I'll wait until I get the pyro archon to make the decision.
you're right that she's going to be great with kinich, also seems like she'll be solid with mualani. but she's already amazing with lyney!! she helps him maintain a pyro aura. a team like lyney, bennett, kazuha, and emilie is very strong, though really as long as you have a vv user in the team and a way to either protect lyney or heal him if he loses health out of the range for getting trick stacks, it can be pretty flexible. bennett is great for getting kazuha's burst going and keeping lyney's health up, dehya (i assume plenty of "lucky" people have her at least c1 or c2 by now - mine's c4) does work with her skill during emilie's burst and makes it so you can't get hit out of charge attacks a decent portion of the time, xiangling always likes bennett but she can be built to do fine by herself if you funnel the particles from lyney's skill to her- even something like burst oriented yoimiya (though better at c1) with elegy for the end can buff emilie and lyney both at once - just make sure to get a few hits with her first for the maximum buff. lyney stays in marechaussee but the other pyro wears unfinished reverie if their damage is better than emilie's without it or deepwood on them, or they wear deepwood if it's not
She's absolutely fire in a Ganyu melt team as well. She's far more flexible than people seen to realize and given that she does so much damage on her own she can slot into any team as long as you have a burning trigger for her passive.
I have barely pulled for any character since Dehya came out- 5 times and only lost 50-50 twice. Not a single Dehya. At least my Jean is C4 now, perfect for a Xiao or Wanderer I don't have. At least she helps out in Imaginarium Theatre nowadays. But I am okay with not having Dehya cause there are plenty of other Pyro characters.
@@RKNancyyeah, assuming people having certain standard 5* characters isn't completely pointless, but as someone who wants Qiqi and dislikes Keqing I only have C0 Qiqi (in 3,5 years of playing!) And C4 Keqing. But in Fontaine I mostly lost to Dehya, got her from Neuvillette's release (luckily, got him and his weapon), from Yoimiya's banner (and decided to stop trying to get Yoimiya, since she really hates my main account 😅) and then I somehow got her in the last banner too (but also got both Nilou and Navia, with Dehya being an early loss after a late Nilou, and Navia being an early guaranteed after Dehya, while trying to max out my Ningguang and Kaveh) But I actually kinda like Dehya, at least, she can slot in on some teams when I feel like it
I got both her and her weapon and I'm back to having fun in Genshin again- I was yearning to play a new reaction! I love characters like Nilou and Chevreuse where you have a clear playstyle revolving around a specific reaction!
I love how people always skip these characters because they are "saving for new region characters" but unless you REALLY want a X.0 version character (like me wanting Tighnari, I LOVE playing him) there really isn't a reason to start saving quite so soon (players can generally save enough over a patch and a half to guarantee a 5 star). Especially so when people start agreeing the new, pre X.0 unit seems fun and strong but they are waiting for something better that may never come. Kazhuha was the only one of these 4 I didn't get on his first banner (wasn't playing at the time) and I didn't regret any of them seeing how the released character after in their respective x.0 versions were all just OK units. Not bad, but not units I would not have greatly missed either.
i always have a tradition of getting the X.0 characters at release so that I have a character from that region to explore and play with. It started with Ayaka, then Tighnari and Lyney. For some reason I always get them when I'm not guaranteed, and although I rlly want Emilie and I have a build saved for her, I will be waiting until her rerun to spoil her with a perfect build. Maybe if I decide to break tradition, then I'll def be pulling
It takes 2.5 patches to guarantee your favourite 5 star. What are you on about? Besides, it's not just the Archon, some people also want to pull for other new region characters and old reruns if any. X.8 characters are amazing but their 4 star counterparts are just as amazing, in case you are forgetting. Never regret not pulling characters. That's how you become a gacha slave.
I really really want Kinich, I still pulled for Emilie as I had enough, and I still have 90 pulls left for Kinich, so that plus the pulls from 1.0 is enough to guarantee him, it depends a lot on what a person wants and has, some people want to save for constellations
i always have faith in baizu since his release, he's all in one support characters for emily may be she's will be useful in the future, but mavuika definetly on high priority since i am an dolphin and f2p😊😅
My guess is that the pyro archon will have something to do with enemies having pyro inflicted on them and pyro reactions. So essentially if you have a burning enemy instead of just a regular pyro afflicted enemy you’ll deal more damage incentivising Emilie and other dendro units for teams like vape or especially melt.
Baizhu is definitely that character that made my Genshin experience way much comfy, and with Neuv, Furina and Kazuha, i can say getting him on release was a really good choice.
just got emille a few days ago as having a sub dps that gets stronger is going to be quite fun during pyro archon and nation release (helps that i enjoyed her story quest too). i got kazuha on his 1st banner, and he's my 2nd ever 5 star. can't wait to get Baizhu for my Cyno.

Except Kazuha they came back fast enough to get them. But now I don't know if I like a characters who will be great with Emilie or not. I mean a team to play with this characters. I will wait her rerun and use Nahida instead if it happens.
they are making natlan's meta a burn melt one. They teased 2 new cryo character and delayed wrio and shenhe's rerun for a reason. They plan to have more cryo character banners more in natlan
My thinking is gonna be a character that buffs the burning reaction itself. Perhaps the enemy will burn blue instead and will extend the reaction longer. What we can expect is someone other than Xiangling and Dehya to be off field pyro appliers. I wonder if that will be the Traveler's role?
This is out of topic but the character banners are also interesting as one character in the X.0 patches always come back in the last patch 1.0 klee - 1.6 klee 2.0 yoi miya - 2.8 yoi miya 3.0 kokomi - 3.8 kokomi 4.0 yelan - 4.8 yelan If this is true then we can expect either kazuha/mualani/kinich at the end of natlan patch 5.8
Emilie is good for Burn Vape Furina. I think meta in natlan will be cryo and hydro (those who have hard hit and slow application can abuse non stop Burning). Burning aura was replacing the regular pyro aura for using Melt and Vaporize (this two reaction is Multiplier). Mualani is good in Forward Vaporize which you can use Burning for more consistent Vaporize and Kinich is one best team is Burning.
I found a pretty good setup pairing Emilie with several pyro units (Thoma, Dehya, and Bennet in this case) I also tried melt-burn with Chongyun, but I'm still figuring out how best to approach that pairing.
As someone who pulled for Kazuha and Kuki on their respective first banners, it's always a funny feeling seeing all those players who missed out on them. Sadly I did not win my Baizhu and Emilie 50/50, so I guess that evens out. Anyway good luck on your future pulls everyone
I feel like with each new patch, genshin has a meta between 2 common occurances. And these characters represent that. 1.0 : Elemental Reactions, since this game came out people where using characters like Venti, sucrose, and Xingqiu for the best elemental reactions. This is also evident with Childe international using Xiangling high vape numbers to do massive damage 2.0: Kazuha has been a huge factor in most Hypercarry/Main DPS teams. And the characters in this patch cycle represent that. Raiden, Yoimiya, Ayaka, Ayato, they could all use him. And heck, even Kokomi has some DPS aspects to her kit when she first came out. And this is supported with her signature weapon too. Along with that, Came more Main DPS oriented supports such as Yelan, Shenhe, Sara, Yunjin, the only DPS character that couldn’t use Kazuha in this patch cycle was Itto. And Itto braught his own swing to the DPS meta by scaling off mostly defense. 3.0: We’re back to Elemental reaction meta, and Kuki being the catalyst to one of the best reactions being hyperbloom was a huge nod to her rising. And most of the 3.0 cycle characters braught their own twist with dendro. Nilou capitalized on Dendro cores, Alhaitham was primarily used in hyper bloom, Nahida does Nahida things and gives everyone a butt load of EM. The only out liars where Dehya who…Is Dehya (Don’t attack me Dehya Stan’s I love her a lot). And Wanderer who doesn’t even react with dendro in any way. 4.0: Now we’re back with the traditional Hupercarry meta, but this time with a twist! Characters bringing their own kind of HP oriented manipulations. Lyney, Neuvillette, Wriothesley, Furina, Gaming, You can even count BoL users and healers such as Sigewinne, Xianyun, Clorinde, and Arlechinno. The only outliers to this HP manipulation era are the Geo’s, being Navia and Chiori. So, I believe 5.0 will go back to the Reaction meta considering Emilie is our first character to properly associate with Burning, and once we get to Snezhnaya we’ll go back to the traditional Hypercarry/DPS meta with potentially a new twist like Fontaine?

I think it’s interesting that many people forget Kirara is as the last sumeru character. And I think it may be partially because of this theory because fontaines gimmick was all about healing for furina and kirara had like no synergy with furina
tbh somehow we had a bow character at the start of each version too,but for natlan they took a different approach so probably emily won't be like those characters?
I always ignore meta, but I'm pretty happy when my favorite characters turn out to be meta :D I don't like Kazuha and kinda neutral about Emilie, but as for others? I pulled Kuki despite the risk to get a 5star. I just really like her design and her personality, she was fun to use in electrocharge teams anyway. I've been waiting for Baizhu for years and he turned out to be the best healer and amazing support. No amount of kokomi mains can change that(why do they always hate on each new healer anyway?). I put him in any team, I take him to co-op, he's just awesome.
My vape team with Emilie works really well due to Murdermoiselle Craballetta slapping 200k+ numbers, but that's because my Furina is monstruously invested
Leaks warning but Mualani's playstyle actually makes Emilie one of if not her best teammate for burning vaporize compositions due to Mualani's low hydro app allowing for more consistency with burning which makes me think that Emilie is only going to become an even better support for Mualani once Mavuika etc drop potentially giving other pyro off fielders, such as Xiangling or Dehya a run for their money
I love how everyone talked smack about kazuha and I was on of the few who actually liked him and saw his potential (especially C1) and now everyone loves him because it one of the best characters in the game 😂
I tried to have all of them, Kazuha at his release I lost 50/50, but I got him on his rerun, I got Baizhu and Emilie at they're release and still don't have Yelan. How many rerun will I have to try and some to skip cause I'm f2p, I hope I will have her on her next rerun cause I really love her.
I believe that for F2Ps, there is no need to pull for new characters. I started in Dec 2022, and only pulled for the proven great characters, and in 8 months could already 36-star the abyss. Now, all I need is to wait and get the best characters once they are proven to be great, so I only pull characters on re-runs.

She wasn't the last character to release from the 3.X, it was Baizhu. She's pretty much like Sigewinne, an experimental unit that isn't as great as others, a good character tho.
I actually wanted kazuha and yelan because of their theme and playstyle. Got kazu but not yelan, then got hacked lmao. I stopped from 2.8 to 4.8 and just came back with a new acc, my kazu is gone :(((
i think emille was less “her kit is bad” and more “her design is bad” i didnt see a lot of dogging on her kit in comparison to design(which i agree, it is quite bad)
Me, personally, have chosen to pull Emilie mainly because she looked more interesting than Mualani and Kinich, and i have no regrets in impulse-pulling her as i am now OBSESSED.

5 star sucrose was less of an diminishing of his kit and more saying hes lame. Whether he was good or bad was irrelevant, people didnt want another anemo grouper when venti was busted and sucrose is strong. The long awaited ayaka and raiden were coming too so save your pulls with the lame ass kazuha.
I dont wanna be that one guy but the last characters released for 2.X and 3.X were Heizou and Kirara respectively But the point of your video still stnads how there are a lot of characters that were released at the end of a region but became better in the next region. (But tbh both Heizou and Kirara arent that good compared to the list you made.)
Spoiler Alert! Kinich is a burning focused DPS, and Mualani is a forward-vape focused DPS. Both will pair excellently with Emelie (and of course, Xiangling, who will be running the screets of Natlan until Mavuika releases)
Baizhu is mid. He’s only good on Neuvilette teams (where Zhongli is stronger and charlotte works as well) and Nilou teams (where yaoyao works as well).
Mid yet still at the top of abyss usage rates (even above Nahida in some). Really shows that in practical gameplay, as long as it can still clear abyss in time, the majority of people prioritize comfort over more dmg.
@@user-ot4ly9dp1c Abyss usage rates are a bit misleading, it's the % of players who own the character and use them, rather than the % of the playerbase who use the character. You're right about the comfort, if I have baizhu and my Furina was C0 (she's C4) I'd use him over zhongli in neuvillette team. Zhongli is better only because of Archaic Petra, which is troublesome to use.

probably because she just released. Kokomi got a lot of hate when she just released, look at her now. She's said to be kinich's best teammate, etc. Meta always changes!
Pyro application is not going to be niche in the pyro nation, and that's all she needs. Kinich needs the same thing, that's not a coincidence, it's a pattern.

Well things are looking good for Emilie since she has a viable spot on Mualani vape comp and can also work well with Kinich
Just saying kazuha was underrated because 87% enemies back in 1.0 would get insta sucked into venti ult. Also em for swirls were nerfed so his damage was kinda poo, venti also go 15 er for the team instead of kazuhas 40% dmg bonus and teams back then needed his er cause they were shodily built. Also people doomposted him because they wanted to cope and say he was bad to have an excuse not to pull. Yelan is still a downgrade to xinqiu c6 but is a great character because xinqiu is a great character. Baizhu was basicly useless if you pulled for meta, people had the right to easily skip him, cyno didn't even want him in his best team. While yes baizhu was an upgrade over yao yao the upgrade was kinda small so people just skipped. Come 4.2 and what made baizhu different from yao yao ie offeild heals became more valuable than onfeilding a healer such as in niluo. (Yao yao overhealed more than baizhu, she has 130% hp muliplier to the whole team at c0 while biazhu has only 48% alhtough his healing was more easily attainable plus his buffs reulted in about 50 em to the whole team for dendro reactions). What made baizhu special was his confort and yao yao was better in most senarios where they competed. Only did when furina come out was baizhu bis in cyno teams and his offeild healing was usable. Emily is a sidegrade often downgrade to xiangling even in her niche use cases, single target xiangling has double hits which are able to be used on 68% of all bosses, aoe xiangling is way better. Mono pyro, oof xianglin buffs the entire team by providing 15% res and 15% pyro bonus making her better depending on how much investment you have on the main carry. Even in kinche teams xiangling furina bennet beats out emily variations.
Tldr: kazuha underated and strong

baizhu no real use or benefit until furina came out
emily currently a strict xiangling downgrade and just wait till she could get buffed

I never doubt myself ever, i have all of these characters and i always see past the community's remarks on such characters. I remember watching mtashed hate on kazuha and was dumbfounded becoz duh he's obv great. Anyhow, I just love that I have them. Can't wait for Natlan.
I have always pulled on these end of patch characters on their release but Emilie is an exception. While it is blatantly obvious she will get much better teams with Kinich and Mavuika, she's still a niche character that lacks the versatility the others have. Emilie is like Nilou, she's strong and irreplaceable in her niche but her niche itself is just a "play if you like it" thing. And just like how Nilou had to wait for Nahida to complete her best team, Emilie has to wait for the pyro archon. But while these characters are dependent on their archons, the archons themselves won't necessarily have them in their best teams. Thats why I'll wait until I get the pyro archon to make the decision.
you're right that she's going to be great with kinich, also seems like she'll be solid with mualani. but she's already amazing with lyney!! she helps him maintain a pyro aura. a team like lyney, bennett, kazuha, and emilie is very strong, though really as long as you have a vv user in the team and a way to either protect lyney or heal him if he loses health out of the range for getting trick stacks, it can be pretty flexible. bennett is great for getting kazuha's burst going and keeping lyney's health up, dehya (i assume plenty of "lucky" people have her at least c1 or c2 by now - mine's c4) does work with her skill during emilie's burst and makes it so you can't get hit out of charge attacks a decent portion of the time, xiangling always likes bennett but she can be built to do fine by herself if you funnel the particles from lyney's skill to her- even something like burst oriented yoimiya (though better at c1) with elegy for the end can buff emilie and lyney both at once - just make sure to get a few hits with her first for the maximum buff. lyney stays in marechaussee but the other pyro wears unfinished reverie if their damage is better than emilie's without it or deepwood on them, or they wear deepwood if it's not
She's absolutely fire in a Ganyu melt team as well. She's far more flexible than people seen to realize and given that she does so much damage on her own she can slot into any team as long as you have a burning trigger for her passive.
I have barely pulled for any character since Dehya came out- 5 times and only lost 50-50 twice. Not a single Dehya. At least my Jean is C4 now, perfect for a Xiao or Wanderer I don't have. At least she helps out in Imaginarium Theatre nowadays. But I am okay with not having Dehya cause there are plenty of other Pyro characters.
@@RKNancyyeah, assuming people having certain standard 5* characters isn't completely pointless, but as someone who wants Qiqi and dislikes Keqing I only have C0 Qiqi (in 3,5 years of playing!) And C4 Keqing. But in Fontaine I mostly lost to Dehya, got her from Neuvillette's release (luckily, got him and his weapon), from Yoimiya's banner (and decided to stop trying to get Yoimiya, since she really hates my main account 😅) and then I somehow got her in the last banner too (but also got both Nilou and Navia, with Dehya being an early loss after a late Nilou, and Navia being an early guaranteed after Dehya, while trying to max out my Ningguang and Kaveh)
But I actually kinda like Dehya, at least, she can slot in on some teams when I feel like it

I love how people always skip these characters because they are "saving for new region characters" but unless you REALLY want a X.0 version character (like me wanting Tighnari, I LOVE playing him) there really isn't a reason to start saving quite so soon (players can generally save enough over a patch and a half to guarantee a 5 star). Especially so when people start agreeing the new, pre X.0 unit seems fun and strong but they are waiting for something better that may never come. Kazhuha was the only one of these 4 I didn't get on his first banner (wasn't playing at the time) and I didn't regret any of them seeing how the released character after in their respective x.0 versions were all just OK units. Not bad, but not units I would not have greatly missed either.

i always have a tradition of getting the X.0 characters at release so that I have a character from that region to explore and play with. It started with Ayaka, then Tighnari and Lyney. For some reason I always get them when I'm not guaranteed, and although I rlly want Emilie and I have a build saved for her, I will be waiting until her rerun to spoil her with a perfect build. Maybe if I decide to break tradition, then I'll def be pulling

It takes 2.5 patches to guarantee your favourite 5 star. What are you on about? Besides, it's not just the Archon, some people also want to pull for other new region characters and old reruns if any. X.8 characters are amazing but their 4 star counterparts are just as amazing, in case you are forgetting. Never regret not pulling characters. That's how you become a gacha slave.
I really really want Kinich, I still pulled for Emilie as I had enough, and I still have 90 pulls left for Kinich, so that plus the pulls from 1.0 is enough to guarantee him, it depends a lot on what a person wants and has, some people want to save for constellations

My guess is that the pyro archon will have something to do with enemies having pyro inflicted on them and pyro reactions.
So essentially if you have a burning enemy instead of just a regular pyro afflicted enemy you’ll deal more damage incentivising Emilie and other dendro units for teams like vape or especially melt.

Baizhu is definitely that character that made my Genshin experience way much comfy, and with Neuv, Furina and Kazuha, i can say getting him on release was a really good choice.
just got emille a few days ago as having a sub dps that gets stronger is going to be quite fun during pyro archon and nation release (helps that i enjoyed her story quest too). i got kazuha on his 1st banner, and he's my 2nd ever 5 star. can't wait to get Baizhu for my Cyno.

Emilie is good for Burn Vape Furina.
I think meta in natlan will be cryo and hydro (those who have hard hit and slow application can abuse non stop Burning). Burning aura was replacing the regular pyro aura for using Melt and Vaporize (this two reaction is Multiplier). Mualani is good in Forward Vaporize which you can use Burning for more consistent Vaporize and Kinich is one best team is Burning.

I found a pretty good setup pairing Emilie with several pyro units (Thoma, Dehya, and Bennet in this case) I also tried melt-burn with Chongyun, but I'm still figuring out how best to approach that pairing.
As someone who pulled for Kazuha and Kuki on their respective first banners, it's always a funny feeling seeing all those players who missed out on them.
Sadly I did not win my Baizhu and Emilie 50/50, so I guess that evens out.

I feel like with each new patch, genshin has a meta between 2 common occurances. And these characters represent that.
1.0 : Elemental Reactions, since this game came out people where using characters like Venti, sucrose, and Xingqiu for the best elemental reactions. This is also evident with Childe international using Xiangling high vape numbers to do massive damage
2.0: Kazuha has been a huge factor in most Hypercarry/Main DPS teams. And the characters in this patch cycle represent that. Raiden, Yoimiya, Ayaka, Ayato, they could all use him. And heck, even Kokomi has some DPS aspects to her kit when she first came out. And this is supported with her signature weapon too. Along with that, Came more Main DPS oriented supports such as Yelan, Shenhe, Sara, Yunjin, the only DPS character that couldn’t use Kazuha in this patch cycle was Itto. And Itto braught his own swing to the DPS meta by scaling off mostly defense.
3.0: We’re back to Elemental reaction meta, and Kuki being the catalyst to one of the best reactions being hyperbloom was a huge nod to her rising. And most of the 3.0 cycle characters braught their own twist with dendro. Nilou capitalized on Dendro cores, Alhaitham was primarily used in hyper bloom, Nahida does Nahida things and gives everyone a butt load of EM. The only out liars where Dehya who…Is Dehya (Don’t attack me Dehya Stan’s I love her a lot). And Wanderer who doesn’t even react with dendro in any way.
4.0: Now we’re back with the traditional Hupercarry meta, but this time with a twist! Characters bringing their own kind of HP oriented manipulations. Lyney, Neuvillette, Wriothesley, Furina, Gaming, You can even count BoL users and healers such as Sigewinne, Xianyun, Clorinde, and Arlechinno. The only outliers to this HP manipulation era are the Geo’s, being Navia and Chiori.
So, I believe 5.0 will go back to the Reaction meta considering Emilie is our first character to properly associate with Burning, and once we get to Snezhnaya we’ll go back to the traditional Hypercarry/DPS meta with potentially a new twist like Fontaine?
I would deff pull for Emilie if Kinich was on the 1st side of Natlan banner, but since that is not the case ill wait till her rerun

I pulled for every one of these characters, and they are all staples in my teams. I'm loving Emilie as a sub dps for any of my teams along with Dehya.
Now that you talk about it, Emily also prefers burning reaction and the upcoming region is of the pyro archon. She might be the perfect support for mavuika
I think it’s interesting that many people forget Kirara is as the last sumeru character. And I think it may be partially because of this theory because fontaines gimmick was all about healing for furina and kirara had like no synergy with furina

I don't like Kazuha and kinda neutral about Emilie, but as for others? I pulled Kuki despite the risk to get a 5star. I just really like her design and her personality, she was fun to use in electrocharge teams anyway.
I've been waiting for Baizhu for years and he turned out to be the best healer and amazing support. No amount of kokomi mains can change that(why do they always hate on each new healer anyway?). I put him in any team, I take him to co-op, he's just awesome.

Leaks warning but Mualani's playstyle actually makes Emilie one of if not her best teammate for burning vaporize compositions due to Mualani's low hydro app allowing for more consistency with burning which makes me think that Emilie is only going to become an even better support for Mualani once Mavuika etc drop potentially giving other pyro off fielders, such as Xiangling or Dehya a run for their money

I believe that for F2Ps, there is no need to pull for new characters. I started in Dec 2022, and only pulled for the proven great characters, and in 8 months could already 36-star the abyss. Now, all I need is to wait and get the best characters once they are proven to be great, so I only pull characters on re-runs.
They all tend to be really good but it takes people a while to recognize that.

5 star sucrose was less of an diminishing of his kit and more saying hes lame. Zhongli is better only because of Archaic Petra, which is troublesome to use.
Lol Furina is best team for Baizhu. If you don't have c1 Neuvillette you must need shield or a form resistance.
