The timing was perfect, there was someone who was willing to trade me their new Nokta Triple Score for my Nokta Legend so I jumped on it. The Nokta Triple Score is such. an amazing machine for the price. I am excited for to start using it as well.

Recovery speed : 5-7 (depends how trashy the beach is)

BC (bottle cap rejection): 6
Audio Gain: 1 (anything higher on the beach the machine becomes really chatty)
Tones: Ptones
Tone Volume: Max (10) on all 1-60
Tone Frequency Notches 1-10: 1 (makes the 1-10 iron signals a deep grunt)
Tone Frequency Notches 11-60: 27
Tone Break: Default 1-10 Iron, 11-60 normal tones
Threshold: Default
Threshold Frequency: Default
Sensitivity: will vary but from 23-28 depending on the beach

Il triplo punteggio è una super macchina, l'ho preso tempo fa , ho anche il legend, li uso entrambi in acqua, sono stabili in uguale misura, legend e la versione 1.17 è fantastica è molto più stabile ora,naturalmente va settato, a differenza del triplo punteggio, che è a ruota del legend, entrambi colpiscono bene l'oro ciao
I think my Triple Score is slightly deeper than my Legend. Really impressed with the 9.5 x 6 inch coil.
Thats awesome. I have not tried any depth tests BUT there a lot of tests on youtube that show they rather neck and neck.
Nice hunt! This is great. I'm starting to research a second machine so I don't have to carry all my kit between two different places each week. I'd like something different enough from the X-Terra Pro so I have a good choice.
The triple score is a great choice. Of course you have the minelab xterra elite that would be an option a well. I would love to get my hands on one.
@@SOFLOTreasureFinds Thanks. I really wish I'd felt comfortable enough to spend the extra money on the Elite when I bought the X-Terra Pro. Now that I know how much I love doing this, the Elite would have been the better choice long-term. I'm not complaining about the X-Terra Pro -- it's more than capable and enjoyable to use, especially as a beginner.
I have a middle-class lifestyle here in Mexico but the difference between dollars and pesos still makes those kinds of purchases a big bite in my budget. Thank you for the feedback. You had some really fun finds in this hunt, and it was nice to see the Triple Score in action. Like another person commented, I really enjoy your videos. You're a lot of fun to watch.

I have had or have every detector known to man and still ordered the triple score Christmas package. I wanted the carbon fiber shaft because I have the old Legend. I also wanted the newer style stock coil, and the elliptical, those would cost as much as the whole package, and free pinpointer, etc. I think it is so much easier to use, love the lighted keypad, and white buttons. That is if the sorry post office ever delivers it? Ordered it on Monday from Florida, live in VA, been in Richmond since the 18th. Was out for delivery by 8pm, get a text that COULDN’T DELIVER BECAUSE OF ANIMAL INTERFERENCE. I don’t have any animals, lol. The post office is useless

The Triple Score has the same performance as the Legend, just minus some features that most likely you would never use anyway
The Triple Score is dead quiet compared to the Legend. I find the Legend to be very chattery on our beaches unless we drop the sensitivity down to 12 or 13 which is not ideal.

Often times i wonder “ am i doing something wrong here! “ i start checking my machine , double and triple check my settings. Because where I’m at i don’t get a lot of good targets. It’s rare to find a ring and I’ve only found one gold in 2 seasons. Truth be told i didn’t go out for summer hunting this season due to health issues. I tell ya one thing , if you watch pirate Mike or fun with Jim , depression sets in because those dudes absolutely crush it where they live. Anyways i wanna try the legend or triple score. Interested to hear your thoughts on the machine John.
Pirate Mike and Jim over there on the west coast do well BUT, i speak to mike regularly I assure you they get long slumps of nothing as well. Its all apart the experience. Amy is probably going to take up the Triple Score and ditch the legend.

What kind of depth difference did you see with the Legend vs. the Tripple Score?
I have only used it for a total of 13 or 14 hours at this point. I also havent picked up the Legend in quite some time either so I wouldn't be able to accurately tell ya. If you go to this videos description, those machine reviewers links have the answers you are looking for. Check them out.

Hey Derek! So far I love the triple score, it is a fantastic machine! It is my second favorite machine I own. My first pick would be my Equinox 900. We don't have the Quest line of metal detectors here in the USA.

Have you tried the Minelab Manticore?
It’s a bit of a beast from what I hear.
The XP Deus is also great from the videos that I watch on the Scottish Detectorist.

I have not had the chance to try a Manticore. It is unfortunately way out of my price range. I hear after the Holidays its going up to $1799.
I have not had the chance to try a Deus II either. Would love to.
A mio parere il triplo punteggio rende di più sul piccolo quando è completamente aperto, con il filtro del ferro a 1 e senza il filtro dei tappi inserito , e già discrimina parecchio lo stesso
Ho scoperto che un filtro di ferro 4-6 funziona meglio per le spiagge della mia zona. Proverò con 1 e vedrò come va. Grazie.

@@billbarry2984 I like it better than the Legend 100%. BUT, I prefer my equinox 900 over anything else as of now. I am rather certain once Amy gets her hands on the Triple Score she is going to use it mainly. Simply because it doesn't have the EMI issue that our Legends tend to have down here on our beaches.
