On top of Nox, simply being a CRACKED player, he was also “the most patient player” I have ever faced on For Honor.
I even rematched him afterwards, Warden Vs Warden, and he still beat me 🤣
Watching the fight, it looks really fast paced. Fighting the fight, it felt extremely slow because of how often Nox was reading me like a book🤣

I still find it really odd how many warden players do side heavy on level 3 shoulder bash. It's not Dominion where you might get peeled for doing top.
Yeah “some” of the Level 3 bash heavies, were forced to the side in this video. No idea why either.
But I also did side heavy off of level 3 way too many times. Guess it was minor panic lol

Angelus and Nova King and Havok are a lot of fun to watch play. But Nox is the best player I've seen on the game. Makes the Orochi look effortless. And he learns his opponents after 5-10 rds such that they become like bots to him. That said, let's see more highlander!
I'd love to see Nox fight one of the serious comp guys like BarakYEET or Antonio. It would be really interesting

Just remember Angelus plays on console more often then Havok or Nova king
nox is really good but hes not the best, immortalem is prob the best in this series, and on pc barak and other like blitss are just crazy good
@@Sam_Hyde_Apologist which is immortalem again? There are several on Nox's level that could win this or that match against him. But him being #1 GM on xbox, plus playing so prettily and getting so many light parries with a reflex guard dodgy character on a console.. he gets stronger as the match proceeds (learns) more than a lot of the others - in fact most naturally kinda choke, especially when down several matches ... makes me go with him overall (I also mained orochi when I first started so I'm biased). Further, he uses the recovery cancels into deflects so crisply.
Not many people know this, in the classical dialect Orochi actually means "I do cocaine".
At this rate, Angelus is about to cause an earthquake with how aggressive the intros are getting

This orochi player spams more and more light attacks unlike his first fights, it's tiring to see
Kinda getting boring watching these 1v1 and you said your gonna do a tournament after we all know who's gonna win its either this orochi or the pirate who have the highest wins percentage from your number 1 series and the only reason is because they have s tier kits

@@IoanCenturion yeah I know. The tourney would be 10× more interesting if it took place pre CCU when the game was actually skill based. Now, may the better character/setup win. Pretty much the only time we get close matches are when both players are even in these factors. Like the Gladiator and HL fight. Similar reactions and both non meta picks yielding a close fight. You cant honestly tell me that isnt much more entertaining than watching for example the Shinobi vs Kensei fight. Shinobi player with a clear reaction advantage and better hero slaughtering the Kensei.
@@slagginobsidians1030 OK take off the rose tinted glasses. Old For Honor was an absurdly broken and unbalanced mess where anyone with good reaction time could just stare at their opponent until they dared throw an attack because there were basically no unreactable moves at all. Read based combat is much better and more dynamic than reaction based, even if thinking is harder than pressing M2 on red
@@IoanCenturion but old For Honor was better. Anybody could react to offense compared to now where some players (primarily on PC) have a huge advantage. As a result old For Honor was skill based. You needed to rely on heavies and bashes because spam was outright suicide. Lights were how they should be, meant to interrupt and punish, not a reliable source of offense to spam with. Sure old For Honor had a lot of problems but it was fair. And that is what made it fun, no unfair advantages.
@@slagginobsidians1030 It was gruellingly slow, and even on PC many strong characters and mixups are fully unreactable. How is having halfway decent reaction time and non-functional offense more skillful than read based offense and defense that requires more matchup knowledge and conditioning?

Im a rep 70 orochi main and i hardly ever use lights anymore after I switched over. I almost never use them even on heavy parry punishes anymore. I just use the zone light punish.
