@@justtosharefiles678 I have a video of a shelf that I made with the 80/20 material. It is not very detailed but I am going to make 2 more units if it’s something you would like to see.
@@rez372I think you can have a decent life in a 1200 square-foot house. People want too much these days. So can have dreams and aspirations but be thankful for what you have.
Man a 1200 square foot shop, roughly 30x40, is my dream so that I can store and work on all my projects. I always joke with my wife that if it wasn’t for her and the kids, I would live on a plot in the country with a one bedroom shack with a huge shop out back.
I have those same metal panels in my garage. I can tell you after 10 years and a few seasons where I had some condensation issues in the garage, those boards still look brand new. They hold up very well. It’s fun to play with the setup and see it evolve as you work with it. I even find myself moving the bins around depending on what I’m working on so certain parts are within a closer reach.
I make the aluminum extrusion pieces! I work for Crystal Finishing Systems and we make those pieces for the company called 80/20. So cool to see how those pieces are used!
If you want to see 80/20 in use, go to any manufacturing plant and you will see it used in a lot of ways on and around the machinery. Very cool and versatile system. Not cheap, though.
@@markgallagher1376 we make a lot for Harley Davidson. Trailer parts. We also had a hand in stadium seating for many big name sports, DNR. Google uses our parts as well. The 80/20 will always be the most versatile. My fav!
Love it! There are modular units from Milwaukee and others for your workspace. They’re pretty cool and you can mix them in with what you got now if you don’t feel like building it from scratch.
That's cool. I didn't even know they had galvaniezed pegboards. I have a bunch of the old particle board ones that kinda fall apart-the holes strip out ..Thanks.
Can I suggest a safety catch here. Get a small diameter rubber hose, split it open lengthwise and place it on the edge if that metal wall covering where you have that recessed receptacle. You could touch it to the plug prongs while inserting or removing it and short out as well as possibly shock yourself or someone that is touching the exposed metal.
Considering the cost of making them, that's a deal. Especially if they are anodized. Mind you, I can think of much better uses for $1000 if ever have that much.
I tip my hat to you Sir…. That is amazing. I had a tiny garage and made a hinged work bench with collapsible legs, it was strong enough to allow me to bolt a 4” bench vice and 6” bench grinder to it, but still light enough that I could fold it away when the space was needed.
Anyway you can point me to the aluminum extrusion pieces. I need to build custom work tables for my shop and love how this turned out!!!! Thank you in advance
Man I wanna soo epoxy but I also wanna do wood burning glass blowing sword making pottery painting tattooing etc soo many that I’m like which do I choose lol
Do you ever customize your models to make them more detailed/accurate? Swapping to different diameters of aluminum rod would be a super easy improvement on the exhaust, upgrading the ignition wires, and flocking the carpet can really transform a model. I understand not modding the pricier models like autoart and BBR but the cheaper maisto/burrago models are basically begging for it.
Commented on this before I got to the engine bay segment off the review. Yeah, that’d chrome mismatched engine (RB26 swap rather than the period correct L24) needs to go. A company called Hotwheels works makes resin 1:18(or any scale) engine/body components that are hyper realistic. I would recommend diving into this model as a guinea pig to dip your toe into the modifying side of collecting(since that engine is a god awful eyesore and you couldn’t possibly mess it up worse than leaving it stock) lol
Would you consider doing a longer video about your workspace? I would like to make one myself.
I would love to see him make that vid
I second this. Aluminum profiles are awesome and I’d love to tweak the design I’m going to use to incorporate them.
He has one already I’m pretty sure
@@charlestownsend1871 dude, link or don't post. Very unhelpful response.

1200 square feet for a garage. My entire home is 1230 and we’re a family of 3. Damn.
Right!? I would have killed for that lol. I grew up in a 1090 sqft house for my family of 5
My house is 1218. If that's the garage then what's the house?
Some people have too much money. Lol.
@@manny9323 no thats not the problem, it’s that you dont have enough

Also used by company for trade show booths sometimes
For traditional pegboards it's crucial to coat them in polyurethane before using so they stand up better.

“Pretty good size, it’s about 1,200 ft…” I daydream about a 16x20 shop and then go “Nah, too big, be reasonable!”
You just do all your stuff with such a flair! Even your workbench I'm so impressed...
Your garage is as big as my whole house.
Fantastic video clip 👌 looking in from Ireland 🇮🇪
Love the extrusion idea & peg boards are so versatile
Beautiful work! I like the direction!
A 1200 square foot garage?! Surely not! That's the size of a 3-5 bedroom house in the UK!!
That's cool. I didn't even know they had galvaniezed pegboards. I have a bunch of the old particle board ones that kinda fall apart-the holes strip out ..Thanks.
Very nice! I've been trying to put together a spot to do woodworking in my garage, I'll finish it this year, hopefully!
Nice build!
Those aluminum corners are merciless. I believe there are plastic end caps for systems like that.
Nice use of the 80/20! I made a full shelf system with the same thing on my channel!

Such a nice looking, functional shop!

Solid work area!!
80/20 is the best
Nice! I need something like that in my garage!!
“I didn’t want it to look super modern so I made it look super modern”
It looks really nice man. I wish I had the space to set up an area for my tools. 😢
That is a TON of Wall Control pegboard! Sheesh!
Looks great
I didn't realize that galvanized pegboards excited. It's very nice.
Looks great!
Awesome job
Dude casually spent like 1000$ on extruded aluminum rails for his workbench legs. Wtf
He should have spent that money on some upper cabinets and put that mess on the wall in them. That whole set up looks unorganized and sloppy.
More like 200
"Aluminum extrusion" comes from 80/20 Inc. Great stuff!
Blackening the edge of the mdf would bring it together a bit as well
Looks really nice
God damn those Bosch rods, I have an unreasonable hatred for them 😅
on the legs I would have went with 8040 Aluminum Extrusion , I use a lot of it on my Sim Rig works fine for what i do with it
Great job..
Beautiful

It may not be to everyone's taste but I like it

Simple and Sleek.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Yup I’m copying this. Love the design!!!
what a struggle is must be to decide how to completely revamp a 1200 square foot garage with brand new accoutrement. respect.....
Very good one
Look great dude 👌
So cool!
Looks like we're getting a new shop tour soon!
..."OUTSTANDING"
That racking looks like solar racking from ironridge.
I like the idea but I'm a big French cleat system fan imo
That's awesome brother.
-that'll play. Good use of the space. Just curious, did you fasten down the counter-top or no?
I’m to cheap for any of this fancy stuff, every tool hanger is pretty much whatever I can cobble together without leaving the house. 😂
Looks nice HOWEVER French cleats are the way to go in my opinion. You get full control
Awesome..... Do you have a link for the extruded aluminum and the melamine sheets¿?

Yes, I’ll take 2 please, thanks 🤙

I'm in the process of stripping and rebuilding the shop I'm in now, like that peg board
gotta know... on the move, was it the door you surprised her with and moving was the option so she wouldn't see the divot plug anymore ? :D
Wow! Our house is around 800-850sq feet lol. It makes me jealous.
How do you get anything done with tools hanging on the wall? What is the benchtop for?
Can you give us a materials list?

what are you actually talking about, mister?
@@_InTheBin Honestly, I have no idea what part of what I said was in any way confusing?
Damn dude that's a 30x40 garage... You can put 4 cars side by side and still have room for 10x40 workshop area 😂
An anvil... don't put an anvil on that hahaha
You lost me when you said "it's kind of a good size it's 1200 Sq ft. Dude some houses aren't that big. Good for u.
Not seeing the corners cut at angles hurts
My wallet has left the chat. looks awesome, I wish I had the money to build that - lol
I'm hip. I've looked at the various garage storage accessory systems and I'm almost afraid to see how much this stuff costs.
Loved it. Envious
This is what you do when your hobby is building the most expensive workshop in the neighborhood.
Just wow
What brand did you use for the pegboard
Love this guy but he's giving hit man with the work bench
nice
Would you please may share the brand of the galvanized boards you using? Thank you
I'm surprised you have no cross-bracing on the legs. If you knock into one of them with anything, they'll immediately bend out of position. 😣
I would feel like I'm inside a stock pot
Where do you get the 1/4” black melamine in Portland?
Anvil for smithing doesnt belong as high as the bench anyway
That’s fkn sick
He said doody😂
Falls out of the old peg board. Spends 2k on new stuff. Me over here with my hot glue gun...🤣
I wouldn't worry about the anvil would be pretty awkward to use one on the bench anyway 🤣
Most expensive workbench ever
I could honestly say, the drawer set costs more than the wall and table itself
80/20 is the most expensive garbage ever. Flex Craft is where it's at.
Idk about modern, but it sure does look like the 80s, idk im not from that era
