I just started extinction with my friends and we've never beaten any ark bosses before. They told me this map would be easy to take down the bosses... Well I think I want to go back to valguero now
It’s honestly more intimidating than it is hard. Simply just do your research and plenty of games and ammunition constantly dwindle it’s health. The king Titan really does test you on your knowledge but as long as you’re smart about it and do your research it not all that scary. And before gen 2, this is the easiest way to get some of the best tekgrams as well as being rich in element. I hope this helps
Remember when the brood mother didn’t have an arena and u could fight it at an ob. U had a choice to ko and tame it or kill it and one decently good Rex getting spam fed raw meat was able to kill it. Oh yeh U also were able to fight it with a giga.
@Allosaurus 67 the manticore doesn't land if you are using wyverns or any flying creature, because the manticore keeps on targeting them,and doesn't even get close to target the ground dinos, so the best way to kill it is to have everything wyverns (but they don't have saddle so some of them will surely be knocked out) or tek rexes,rexes,theris, shadowmanes...

(BTW I'm doing singleplayer so I can't do anything that involves tribemates.) I also have 1 yutti (his name is "Chris crinkle" lol) I can tell I'm not ready for alpha because I lost 8 megatherium on beta.
Raasclark: Big monke easier to kill than big spider. Me after taking the spider down with only 2 dinos lost and getting completely wiped by the monke: Uh huh, sure
As long as you don’t get insta killed by the cmc it’s pretty easy. Bring 2 Reapers and bury them, place your dinos behind them and attack the dinotars from time to time with rhinos. Rexes also work but can be a little harder.
The master controller can be one of the hardest boss fights, I haven't faced him yet but I saw his boss in creative mode and in videos and yes he is very difficult and i have many respect to him, but I think he is a little more difficult than the dinopithecus king which is MUCH more difficult than I thought. I think the most difficult fight in Ark is the one with the beta titan King, I know that Genesis 1 is the hardest dlc of ARK, but that doesn't mean that Genesis 1 have the hardest fight in the game and the dragon is easy, if you follow 2 strategies that i'm about to explain you: 1.- you can use a few mutated and very strong dinos to distract the Minions of the dragon and you with a deinonychus you sneak up to its paws and there it can't reach you with its attack and the fire, so the bleeding of the deinonychus will crush the dragon in matter of minutes. 2.- You fight the dragon with 19 mutated therizinosaurus with 30k hp and 500 damage attack and a 50 hp yutyrannus that you will mount all the fight, the terizinos have more resistance to the fire than the carnivores because they're herbivores, if you buff the therizinos in the distance and the dragon don't focus on you and kill you, you are guaranteed to win
unless you are fighting the valguero broodmother with a deinon, you stand no chance against it, especially if it’s a level 150, yes, the valguero broodmommy can spawn at a random level, meaning it can have a shit ton of extra health
In the island I just realized the three bosses are based on the three of the four classification of animals reptilia aka dragon mamilia being the megapithicus and arthropods aka the brood mother
Serious question time why is Moeder considered a Mini boss? It has a massive HP pool, is part of a story ARK and has an arena you spawn into like other major bosses I get the other mini bosses like the Lava Elemental being minibosses but don't get Moeders classification personally lol.
It’s shouldn’t be the only ones that should be mini bosses are the lava golem iceworm Queen spirt dire bear and dire wolf also maybe the Broodmother in Val since it’s not as strong

Just cheesed the dragon with the feather raptors, now that I know the aberration guy can be cheesed I’m gonna go wack him. In a few days when I have everything ready lol. I was way too scared to fight him before lol
Rockwell in abberation is probably my #1. When i first faced him i almost peed my pants. Luckily it was single player so i paused the game and went to go use the bathroom then came back to fight him. 10/10 fight. Also i wish there was yuty spawns on abberation.
If your on arkpoc or mts and going for all main trek grams I would recommend doing gamma gen, beta Rockwell, all island bosses on alpha or you could do Val boss but I recommend island bosses for later assention
You should really do an updated version of this but to make it different Base it on how difficult it is this time Also getting closer and closer to 100k hopefully it'll be reached within the next 5 weeks!

Easiest way to take down the dragon now is to use a rex or spino as bait to get it on the ground, then rip it apart and bleed it dry with deinonychus. When I finally got into a dragon fight, we were sitting in a corner on deins while one person and ten unmounted deins shredded the boss The fight I enjoyed most, though, was Rockwell. Master Controller was a pain... I lost two rexes to him on _gamma_ before finally taking him down with a spino. To date he's the only boss I've faced at all three levels and I have the trophies to prove it :)
The master controller needs to be higher in the least, its the most intense and difficult fight ever in ark, not even the alpha king titan comes close if you fight with the mega mek, it took me +7tries to defeat the alpha controller on official difficulty solo, and I didn't even complete all the 168 missions because some of them are broken and impossible. The reapers on the final stage can one or 2 shot me even with the best armor, and the gigas destroys the tames even with the best saddles

I still remember playing ARK split screen a few months ago on Xbox and my friend did something stupid when I fired off a cruise missile and I glitched through the map. Ended up going so far the game auto killed me and we lost the boss fight
The titans are actually technically not bosses as they are tameable tho overseer rockwell and the king titan are overseers not bosses as they give 15 levels the only actual bosses are the guardians on the island the manticore the ice worm queen and the lava element and moder aswell as the experimental giga and the tek strider/mek on the life support mission

Just a quick tip for dragon, well it more of me telling you something the wiki says (and just asking when you final play fodjir can you test this for me?), so apparently the wiki says that the magmasurs are immune to the fire breath attack and if that true then I can see them making the dragon much more easier (it still won’t be easy but it won’t be as hard)
Yeah, but the fascinating thing is that I personally am built in it on xbox official smalls and meshers have tried and failed. Nothing feels better than beating cheaters with nothing but your earned tames and skill.
The Megapithecus isn’t the weakest of the guardians,the broodmother is, I swear to god it’s so slow I literally did the alpha version easily on foot with no tames

question Raas, no extra 15 levels from king titan? the wiki says you do get them (on the 'ascension' article page), unless I read that part wrong and they mean you ascend but get no levels. If so, it's phrased confusingly. But I just beat rockwell so I was going to head to extinction for 15 more levels. Is that a waste of time then, should I go to Gen 1 instead?

For new players the manacore has low Heath because the manacore has really high damage resistance and it never lands so bring a couple velos
It does land, just bring land creatures, I killed it with 8 max lvl fully imprinted rexes on alpha super easily

Looking at Ark Lore King Titan has been the strongest creature in the arks making it extremely deadly.

The deino bleed is so broken it ruined the in a lot of boss fight but it is good for farming and you can just not use it for your first time
You could also use a good Megaloceros if you don’t want to go to Val
My Favourite is King Titan because he has a cool mecha form

question Raas, no extra 15 levels from king titan? the wiki says you do get them (on the 'ascension' article page), unless I read that part wrong and they mean you ascend but get no levels. If so, it's phrased confusingly. But I just beat rockwell so I was going to head to extinction for 15 more levels. Is that a waste of time then, should I go to Gen 1 instead?
