Good to have you back Brian. I got my red FJR right when you did & didnt know much about working on it until I watched your vids. Thanks you saved me a ton of $. I have 44000 miles now
I just can't imagine not riding my FJR1300 for any longer than 1 winter season. It's like a piece of me is missing, when I don't get to ride for very long.
So glad to see you back at it, brother! I have a 2016 FJR, and your channel is an absolute go-to for all things FJR related. Can't thank you enough for all you've taught me about my bike! 👍👍
Those motors are practically bullet proof. That being said, my FJR (same year/model) had fouled spark plug number 1 after sitting for a few months. Changed out the plugs and she ran like brand new.
Glad to see your back and sorry to hear about your Accident, at least it wasn't on the Bike. I have the same 2014 as you, minus the electronic suspension, and that's how I found your channel a few years ago. E Bikes are awesome IMO, especially for us older guys with Bad Knees so we can continue to get out on the Trails and Streets. I build my own E Bikes with Motor conversion kits that can turn most any bike electric. I use Mid-Drive Motors and 52v and 72v Battery Packs with aftermarket Speed Controllers that put out incredible Power and Torque...40-50 mph!
The FJR is in the perfect condition. I wonder from which year on there is a need to connect it to the computer each time you service it. I have the Tracer 9 2023 (the SV650 was 2020 and didn't need the computer) and it requires a computer for doing diagnostics to properly complete the service. Do you have any info about that? Thanks a lot.
@@TwoWheelObsession I see. Basically after 2016 you just do the service and reset the service light when you are done. Sure, you can use the code reader if you have some problems. Am I right?
There is no service light, as in normal stuff. If something is wrong, it can require it to be reset, yes. Everything in this vid, you just do. It has nothing to do with the computer.
So far so good, had to have a new steering wheel put on because a volume button stopped working - that's it! All the bells and whistles, super comfy! It won't win any races but that's not what I wanted.
So cool! Thank you for coming back!
It's great to have you back, brother.
My two wheel days are over; I've had to go to three. I had two FJRs. I loved those machines. I'm glad to see you're healing and riding again.
Oh I know I’ll be on three in the future too!
Good to see you back!!
Right when you fired it up for the first time in years my German shepherds woke up to that FJR whistling hum...😂 Glad to see you're back.
Right on

Great news that it fired up…the FJR is a force of nature. E-bikes are a ton of fun.
TWO is back! Love all your stuff BG
Thanks man! Long time sub!!
Good luck, bro!
I remember when this bike was new!
That's the last video I remember from you, the dash cam stuff.
Great to see new uploads!!
Great to be making them and seeing people on here!

Good stuff! Glad to see you back on the grind!
Wow it so looks mint, can you do another video on how you detail it? All the nooks and crannies lol
The ceramic coating is the secret :) Did a vid on it
Always enjoy your vids, pleased you’re back. I have an e bike and it’s the dogz nutz 😅
lol
Miss my 2005 fjr, but got a good honda st 1300.
RF 1400 is a great helmet. Glad the bike is back in business!
I have a feeling I'll again like the series the most - I've had RFs for my last 4 helmets
@@TwoWheelObsession same, love that series, quiet and comfortable and that’s the key for me.
Agreed!
Watch out for all those steep hills in Florida. HeHe
It’s like a rollercoaster!
Where do I find the gas can kit?

Word !
RF-1400 should fit the same. Love mine. Also the new Neotek 3 is out if your interested in a modular.
Watching lots of reviews, they did change the inside fit quite a bit, but you can always change the cheek pads. I have the smallest now in mine.
What r good years to buy a FJR if u r buying used ?
I suggest a 2016+, and just make sure any recalls have been done.

FJRs do not require such a thing. 2016+ have an OBDII port for pulling codes though. Mine goes through the dash.

@@TwoWheelObsession I get it, I am just wondering if this is the same with the 2020/2021 model. :)
Yes. No changes other than color since 2016
How is the SUV, Bryan (new after the Soul was sent to heaven)? Would you recommend it? Any niggles?
So far so good, had to have a new steering wheel put on because a volume button stopped working - that's it! All the bells and whistles, super comfy! It won't win any races but that's not what I wanted.
Did you go to prison??
LOL watch a few vids back
