GREAT SONGS ! The oldies can't be beat . This was a time when music DIDN'T hurt yours ears and made you feel good ....Really good! No vulgarity , just pure talent , both in songwriting AND the performing of the material I miss these times VERY MUCH .

These guys have their own talent. Enjoy their music for what it is. But I wish folks would stop saying they sound exactly as they did 50 years ago. No, they do not sound like the original Vogues. In fact, Chuck Blasko's group does not sound like the original Vogues -- even though Chuck is one of the 4 originals. This is not a criticism of the singers. It is simply to point out what ought to be obvious: You can line up 3 or 4 of the greatest singers and they will not sound like the originals because they perform under the name. Only the originals can sound like the originals. These groups are tribute groups. They provide great memories in that role.

that is not true. Stan Elich was NOT a founding member of the group.....The originals consisted of Bill Burkette (lead baritone), Don Miller (baritone), Hugh Geyer (first tenor), and Chuck Blasko (second tenor).[2] In 2000, the trademark was purchased by vocalist and Pittsburgh area native Stan Elich. During these years Blasko continued to perform as the Vogues, clashed with the "trademark" group, and eventually testified in front of Congress on the Truth in Music Act. A lawsuit filed by Blasko ended with the Pennsylvania court permitting Blasko's Vogues to perform in 14 Western Pennsylvania counties and the "trademark" group to perform everywhere else in the world as The Vogues. Troy Elich now owns the trademark of the vogues. Chuck Blasko is the only ORIGINAL MEMBEER still performing. .@@oldiesrockandroller

Totally Unnecessary and silly multiplex cymbal crashes ruin this good performance, very sadly . Really bad drummer and percussionist

Sorry .... no Bill, no Hugh -- NO VOGUES .... this is at best a semi- respectable tribute to the original group .... RIP, Mr. Burkette ...

Bill Burkette & Stan Elich would be proud of the act Troy has kept going. It's NOT the same, I agree, however it's still "The Vogues" for a new generation.

Thanks for chiming in -- I just get irritated when replacements stand up on a stage and say " When WE did this song, it was OUR second Hit ... " (and they had NOTHING to do with it) Just giving an example ... right before I wrote my comment, I had just seen the original Vogues perform "Magic Town" in '66 on TV, then immediately after I watched Bill & Hugh do the primary vocals for that great song, a mere 5-6 years ago ( where incidentally, they killed it ).

@@dangibson906 I was in the band as the drummer with Bill and Hugh for ten years. Bill passed away not long ago and Hugh is retired. The band goes on there have been many versions of The Vogue's since 1966 but I'm proud to say that I played with two original members for years. And I can personally tell you they wanted the band to go on and perform those songs.

I appreciate your comments -- it is great to hear from an original member of the group. I really liked The Vogues, for it was so special that they/you came to our little Methodist College and played at our prom. I remember how cordial they were, mingling with the crowd before and after playing for us. Also, Hugh did a little comedy act wearing a huge Mexican sombrero -- do you remember any of this? Hell, it was only 51-52 yrs ago ! THANKS AGAIN ...

100% correct... This is a TRIBUTE band, NOT the Vogues.
