I was born in Harare and would go to Bulawayo for holiday, its a shadow of its former self. The economy crashed partly because of the global financial crisis but also because there were key policies from Mugabe that were financially terrible - such as the redistribution of farming land which caused a sharp decline in economic growth.
Good to see the cleanliness and care of the area around the town hall at the beginning of the video and the presence of orderly pivot bins. Interesting to hear the perspective of a Kenyan, and share the walk you give to a town that has witnessed the fortitude of it's people against the wrongs perpetrated by man. The Ndebele like many require justice in this time.
